Hi I was looking for 2 years to find the best surgeon as my weight was going up and up and know matter what I did I did not lose at my witsend I found the Best surgeon Dr Baris Gurcu and when I say the best I mean the best as well as his team they are there all the way from start to finish and more my weight loss is amazing I am over the moon with all Dr Baris Gurcu has done he is the best in Turkey

How professional he is beyond words. I was in Turkey, Fethiye having my summer holiday and we met Dr. Baris via our mutual friend. I told him I was having troubles with my health and he checked my tiroide and he said it would be the best option to remove it. He was completely right. I had it removed and I am feeling a lot better. Thank you for your quick diagnosis.

Big thank you to Dr. Baris Gurcu and all the staff working with him. I had two surgeries at the same time,gallbladder removed and gastric sleeve surgery. No words can describe how much healthier and happier I feel. From day one,through my stay at the hospital,till today 3 months after the surgery they have been a great support for me. All my questions (and I had many) were always answered in matter of seconds. Special thank you to dietitian Melis,for explaining each step so thoroughly. Nurses are so gentle and caring too. I had been corresponding with the clinic for a couple of months before travelling for my procedure. I found the staff very easy to deal with and kept me very well informed of the process and what I could expect before, during and after surgery. When I arrived at he clinic the staff were very friendly and helpful, I had no language issues as one staff member in particular spoke very good English. The surgeon Dr Baris Gurcu was very professional and friendly and made the whole experience very stress free. I would recommend this clinic to others. 5 star treatment from start to finish.

Wow what can I say except my results speak for the following review!

I had a gastric bypass in June, I am 5month out and 6stone down.
The knowledge and understanding from Dr Baris was second to none. I had carried out my research prior to opting for this procedure and also on looking for a surgeon and I am so glad I went with Dr Baris.
My recovery was great, I seen Dr Baris and Melis numerous times per day and visited the clinic on a couple of occasions before I traveled back home. The clinic is lovely and welcoming! The staff are just lush!…
For my return to the UK I was given all my necessary medication and vitamins to last me until August when I was going back for holiday 😎
After I landed in the UK Melis & Dr Baris have been there for me every step of the way, even when I was admitted to hospital through COVID-19 they were so concerned which just goes to show that you're not just a number to them.

I have had stomach botox with Dr Baris and his team one month ago. I found them to be highly professional and really kind and caring. I am having 3months of support with dietian Melis. I spent a long time researching surgeons before I booked my weight loss surgery. I was very happy with Dr Gurcu as his qualifications and experience are excellent and he has many success stories on his profile. I cannot fault my experience in any way. From my arrival at the hospital to my discharge both Baris and his staff were readily available to me. I was taken care of at the hospital very well. Baris would visit me multiple times a day. My surgery was gastric band to mini bypass and I cant be happier with the whole process. I am now 6 weeks post op and I have had no complications at all, i can tolerate every food i have tried with no problems however in much smaller amounts. My post op pain was minimal. The clinic regularly check in with me via Whatsapp now that I am home and give me guidance on my diet and ask for updates. I was given ample medication by the clinic when I left Turkey which included antibiotics, vitamin B12 injections, protein supplements, vitamin supplements, collagen, painkillers and anti sickness meds which is far more than anyone else I know who has gone there for weight loss surgery. Baris and his team are very friendly and it is clear that he puts his patients care first and foremost. I am so happy with the choices I made and would recommend him to anyone looking for weight loss surgery in Turkey. The hospital in Fethiye is excellent with beautiful sea view rooms and once you are out of hospital there is plenty to see and do in this stunning part of Turkey. I have lost almost 2 stone (12kg) in 6 weeks. Thank you so much to Baris, Lynne, Melis, Buse and the rest of the team at the clinic for a great experience.
