Informative and Interactive Course

I have enjoyed all the classes, Dr. Vinny.
MF class has been especially informative. Things I learnt are:
1. I was not aware that I could change older MF from IDCW to Growth and Regular to Direct even now.
2. I have been unhappy that my agents were unable to tell me how to manage these. I can now judge their performance wrt peers and decide to close or leave it intact.
3. I understand advantage of selling part of MF to meet short term goals without using up my liquid cash and all while avoiding taxes.
4. I know now to recommend Index based mutual fund from any good fund house to my sons who are just starting out.. while they are focused on learning and establishing themselves in their careers
5. MF aside, I like the idea of everyone starting their PPF at 18 - a point suggested by you during last week's session.
Other aspects:
1. I would like to have learnt a bit more on how to save taxes when you are in 30% bracket already without risking everything on MF or market. As FDs and bonds etc are not viable options for surplus cash anymore. As this is the case for most people who are on pension, completed responsibilities and live frugally, and need a plan to leave something solid for their grandkids.

7. I would have also liked to know how to evaluate real estate growth any region.. what to look for and other Dont's.

8. A session on credit cards selection and usage for accumulation of rewards that you had mentioned previously, if possible.
