Unexpectedly good experience I usually…

Unexpectedly good experience I usually don’t trust services like this, but DriveBot surprised me. The setup was simple, the alerts were instant, and I didn’t feel spammed or confused at any point. It did its job and got the slot fast.

It really works

It really works. I was frustrated about booking a driving test within 2 months. Some individual do it but they ask for Extra £150 more other than £62. It's blackmail. So I tried drivbot and got the results and it saved me £100.

It works!

It works! Trying to find a test (or cancellation) using the DVSA website is incredibly frustrating and time consuming but this website gets the job done! So easy to set up too.

We didn’t move your test arbitrarily. The bot only books within the date range you set in your Dashboard. If that range includes later dates, the system may secure a later slot if it’s the first available match.

Horrible error -booked a driving lesson…

Horrible error -booked a driving lesson in less than 12 hours’ time and no response or remedy given. Lost original timeslot and money spent.
Need to be responsive and give a resolution when serious errors are made.

UPDATE
There is no dashboard? There’s no way to see what you’ve booked, no login. Not sure if you’ve tried to use your own service from a user perspective? Only proper response would be a refund - 24 hours notice is very different from 12 hours notice (hearing in the evening of an appointment first thing in the morning that you then can’t edit). Raising this with the police as fraud.

Sorry for the frustration. To clarify, the bot will attempt to book any slot within the date range you set. The bot simply follows the preferences you set.

If you don’t want next-day or very short-notice appointments, please don’t include those dates in your range, or use the “opt out of next-day booking” option in the Dashboard. We don’t manually interfere with bookings, as every learner’s needs are different. Once that’s selected, the bot will avoid booking next-day slots.

Do not trust. PAYING FOR GOOD REVIEWS

I went by reviews so thought this was genuine. It isn't. Within the week a human managed to book my test within the next few weeks. The bots did not. I have no countdown to refund, and get automated or difficult and rude emails in response. Already proving challenging to get a refund. I absolutely would never recommend nor use this service again. Please do not be fooled that it is easier for you to get a test, or that they will refund you. Very unpleasant and a rip off.

I was emailed after this, that I would only get a refund if I took down my review. Though I got it eventually.

I subbed again for the cancelled test alerts and let me tell you they are wildly inaccurate or outright fake. They were always gone as both the alert and taken message sent at the same time. I started checking myself at night and all the cancellations that came up - NEVER pinged on the app. It's absolutely a trick to get you to use their auto feature. Some of the tests are probably genuine, sure. But so many are not. Please just refresh the website in morning and evening when people are more likely to cancel. I spent my £20 so you don't have to.

Also lying in their response and I have the emails from themselves to prove it.

Note all the good reviews are 'invited'. They're paid...

We’re sorry you feel this way, but we need to explain a few important points to your and other customers:

1. We emailed you multiple times and also asked Trustpilot to contact you to provide your order information, so we could verify your case and investigate it accordingly. To date, we’ve received no response or Submission ID, so we’re unable to confirm whether you’re a genuine customer or investigate your claims.

2. You claimed "it's difficult to get the refund". However, refunds do not require any additional communication, let alone the request for review removal. If no booking is secured within 7 days, every customer can simply request a refund from the Dashboard at any time. This process is automated, and we don’t interfere with it. But you're not eligible for requesting a refund within 7 days of purchase, which is against our refund policy (For more details, please refer to Refund Policy on our website). As you mentioned here, you received the refund as expected, too.


3. Regarding ingeninue notifications: at highly competitive centres, one cancellation is often taken within seconds as many users and bots are grabbing it at the same time. It’s normal for an alert and “slot taken” message to appear almost simultaneously—this doesn’t mean alerts are fake. This is why we recommend using our Auto-booking features in these centres. The bot won't guarantee grabbing a slot just in one go, but it will massively increase the chances. Even if auto-booking doesn’t succeed in the end, a full refund is still available under our policy.

If you want to verify the authenticity of the notifications, you can add some competitive centres and check whether the slots are still available after notification.

No regrets.

I used another cancellation app and kept getting notified of cancellations, by the time I'd jumped on dvla website, it had gone! I tried driveBot and the same happened, i was distraught. I then upgraded to the auto booking, within 2hours they had booked a test at the centre I wanted. Over the moon!

An absolute lifesaver

Like most people, I found it almost impossible to find a driving test by myself. To secure my first test it took multiple daily checks and 6am starts to finally get one that was 6 months away.

After failing my test recently, I simply couldn't face going through that again and waiting months for a new one. I was really skeptical about handing over the money in advance to this bot but I am so glad I did and couldn't recommend it enough. I went for the autobooking subscription and it found me a last minute cancellation in less than two weeks (the new test is only 3 weeks after my first one!). I am SO happy with the service. If you do decide to use it, just pay the extra money for the autobooking option as it will save you so much time and energy. Obviously I'm hoping to pass my new test but, if I don't, I will be using the bot again.

Whether you like it or not, the only way to get a test at the moment is by using a bot and, as they say, if you can't beat them, join them!

Absolutely the worst experience

Absolutely the worst experience. I paid £50, never heard a thing, went online myself at 5.50am every monday morning and managed to book for my son. Subsequently sent an email, as advised, asking for refund and to cancel subscription. The idiots failed to respond to my message and to make matters worse, then weeks later exchanged the test I already had booked for beginning of may to the end of May, right in the middle if my sons A'levels. Absolutely livid! All automated and no contact whatsoever fro. The company. AVOID

We’re sorry you feel this way, but we’d like to clarify how the service works. If you want to terminate the service and request a refund, you can do so directly in the Dashboard at any time. This process is fully automated, and once a cancellation is submitted the bot stops immediately and will not continue booking.

If you choose to email us to cancel or request a refund, we’re also happy to help manually. However, as stated in our "Contact Us" section, we ask for at least one business day to respond during working hours. If you send an email outside our working hours, please understand that we can only process your request during our working hours, while the bot is still working in the back.

In most cases, booking changes, cancellations, and refunds can be completed instantly by you in the Dashboard.

So it's been a week and it hasn't given…

So it's been a week and it hasn't given me a test, even though I have them quite a large date window. Think it's a scam! £50 wasted. Avoid

We recommend allowing a little more time and patience, as the bot will keep trying every available opportunity until it secures a booking.

That said, if a booking isn’t made and you decide not to wait, a full refund is always available under our policy. Since you’ve already cancelled the service, we can see that your full refund has been issued.

Do not waste your time and money using…

Do not waste your time and money using it.I had applied and subscribed for auto-booking slots 33 days ago, yet no test's been booked for me.I request for a refund.

Sorry for your experience. In most of the cases, the appointment can definitely be booked within 1 month. There are two common reasons your situation can happen:

One is that the test centre you selected is highly competitive — when a cancellation is released, many users and bots try to book it at the same time, so the slot can disappear within seconds. In this case, just give the bot a bit more time and patience and the bot will keep trying every opportunity until it secures a booking.

Another possibility is that the date range you set was too narrow or had already expired, which means very few suitable slots were available. We recommend checking and adjusting this in your Dashboard.

Having said that, if you don’t wish to wait, a full refund is always available under our policy. As you’ve already cancelled the service, we can confirm that your full refund has been issued, so your money hasn’t been wasted.

Must say we are against in principle but a good company to use.

Firstly must say we are against companies making money out of reselling driving tests etc. Good that in 2026 the government will stop these companies buying tests for resale. So that said, my wife had been sitting at the computer at 5.40am every Monday to book a test and the bots were logged in in front of her. We battled to get tests ourselves, but when our son failed we wanted to get one quicker. So we used this company, after 10 days it got a test for a week later. He failed that so we paid again. The second time it got a test the following week just 20 minutes after paying. Really impressed.
