very difficult to unsubscribe…

i first applied to driver hire for jobs and everything was good......but due to short term medical issues....i tried to unsubscribe........should be an unsubscribe button on your emails like everyone else....as different circumstances occur...to my anoyannce....this has been very difficult to enact....im not sure but i thuoght by law that this should be so

AAA+10/10 every time

AAA+10/10 every time. I've been with Driverhire 8 years even though I have had numerous permanent job offers from clients I am very happy with Driverhire Manchester North/Oldham which covers said areas including Ashton-under-Lyne Rochdale, basically quite a large area. The work is various, warehousing, transport and other industries. Choice of pay structure, accrued or un-accrued holiday pay. Accept or decline work placements. But more importantly if you are looking towards gaining further/higher qualifications in your profession that is possible mainly within the warehousing and transport industries. This review covers over the past 8 years to present and beyond.

Incompetent fools

Re sat my 35 hours of CPC training with Driver Hire only to find out after 6 months later none of my hours have been uploaded! Took forever to get through to someone who sounded like Stephen Hawking, who then proceeded to tell me I need to send an email. What an absolute disgrace. Will never use this company again.

We never want to see a bad report on the service we provide, but inevitably things sometimes go wrong and this gives us an opportunity to improve what we do. Having said that, we felt that it was inappropriate for you to make personal comments about the member of our team who you spoke to on the phone.
For others reading this review, please note that your review relates to our Training business and not recruitment services.
We have investigated your complaint in some detail and would like to make the following points:
• You attended five days’ training – of these five, four were promptly uploaded as required by DVSA. Your complaint relates to only the first of the five days.
• The reason for the delay with this upload is that you provided an incorrect driving licence number. When this was noticed, we emailed you to ask for a correct number
• Unfortunately due to human error, we did not follow this up with you when we did not receive a reply. We should have done this and apologise for the slip-up
When you spoke to our team member about the missing hours, we immediately brought your records up to date. We therefore believe this issue is resolved, but if you do have any further concerns, please do email us via training@driverhire.co.uk.

We have used driver hire for some time

We have used driver hire for some time. Unfortunately they seem incapable of sending invoices to the correct place and then seem to think its our fault they have not been paid. Credit control team don't seem to understand that we are not capable of reading minds, and their response to a complaint is don't use us again. In other words the ideal combination of incompetence and business prevention. Don't deserve the custom.

Warrington Branch was great

Very helpful and friendly staff, always happy to assist you. Great style of work of you are between jobs, especially with weekly pay.
Minimum of 8 hours pay per day (you can opt for 2 different pay levels - One which gives you paid holiday and one which doesn't but you earn more per hour).
You can pick and choose where you work, and if you like places you can request to work there over other places. If you don't like certain places you can also ask not to work there again.
Only downside is the work can be quite sporadic from week to week, so can be difficult to budget/plan your weeks out.

I have used this agency several times…

I have used this agency several times over the past 3 months and have always provided a driver on time which has helped us get through our busiest period. Drivers have always been punctual, and conscious of making sure deliveries were completed on time. Would definitely use them again. Drinkworks

Driver hire Gatwick rubbish

I apply to work from Gatwick/Crawley/horsham area, and they add was to work from horsham but that was just for people to apply after that they send you far away and dont pay any expenses. I work 1 week for them and still didn't get paid for 1day of work... even when you send the week sheets they dont make the payment correctly. If you like to be robbed this is the company for you.

cpc course with Dave Allan so rude and poor service customer

can't give 0 star is Dave Allen so rude with his class for cpc il never do a course with them and the customer service are same when i booked the course

Driver Hire Stockport was absolutely…

Driver Hire Stockport was absolutely fantastic and extremely helpful.
I had just passed my class 2 and these guys took me on and found me work straight away. As I was also new to this industry Jamie quite often had to explain the terminology of the type of work that was being offered to me along with advising me with the type of work that I would be most suited for (after trying out a few of course). He was very patient and extremely helpful and I couldn't have asked for better especially when starting out on this new adventure.

Driver Hire Southampton

Driver Hire Southampton! Very unprofessional management ! After been offered a driving job by John the contracts manager! I received a phone call from Ash the manager, and was told that my driving job had been allocated to someone else! 20/11/2021.I'm needless to say, very upset!

False advertising to get you to sign up.

On their website they advertise for van drivers with pay rates £11- 12.50 per hour.
This is used to get your to register with them. After going through the long process Highway code exam etc. Takes about an hour of your time. The only work you get offered is minimum wage or £9.40 to deliver 100+ parcels.If you turn down this poorly paid work, they will not contact you again. Total waste of time.

This is definitely the no go to agency…

This is definitely the no go to agency if you have a UK licence. They don't want quality anymore when there's imbeciles who work for diddly squat! With the current crisis going on at present I bet they're begging anyone who has a licence or otherwise and signed up to them please help us out at present. Well don't bother as they didn't with us when we signed up in recent times. I would myself go directly to the companies who have vacancies atm as they'll be more than interested in your application. Forget these clowns it's not worth the hassle! 2020's will be the end of these lot as new government legislation come in to place by the end of the year preventing anyone without a uk licence to drive on uk soil. I hope you all at DH struggle with future employment as most of you couldn't organise a mash up in a brewery and most times thought it was funny to do the same to us when we sought employment. Anyway you had it coming sooner or later. Avoid these like lot like Covid19

Waste of time!

One of their drivers crashed into my car before Christmas and I am still awaiting an outcome, called and emailed them numerous times with no joy, just totally ignored. All on CCTV and driver tried to say she hadn't done it. I certainly wouldn't want anything to do with this company.

Two years now and still waiting for a call back! Don't waste your time with these people,thankfully I have a job but if I wanted one and did get a response from driver hire,I would be worried if they were going to pay my wages. Very ignorant people!
