Everything seems legit until you get to the point where it asks for a $30 fee. That is a red flag to me and after coming to this site I decided not to go any further.
While we don't verify specific claims because reviewers' opinions are their own, we may label reviews as "Verified" when we can confirm a business interaction took place. Read more

Submitted a cancellation via their website, which took a ridiculous amount of time to go through, but once the page finally loaded, I received confirmation that it was cancelled. Submitted a support ticket inquiring about this and why it said I'd been denied, requested a refund, was informed that while they won't typically refund the $30.00, they'd approve it in this instance as a courtesy. Still haven't received that refund and it was "approved" on 06/11/25. Also their e-mails constantly throw an SPF failure and end up in my list of denied e-mails. Seems like a very shady business, will be reporting them to the FTC and Ohio AG.

Buyer beware more than likely will not be approved. They’re getting as many applications as they can for 30 bucks. Nothing is wrong with my credit, but they said there was something wrong. It’s not legitimate.

Been desperately trying to find someone to talk to in regards to my application, there is no number and now I'm concerned about this business. Does anyone have a direct number to call???
$30 Get Rich Scam
Beware this company is getting rich from charging everyone $30 and then telling you your application has been denied. The only way you get any correspondence is by leaving a bad review. Once you see the pop up for the application fee for a soft credit check that should be a red flag. Change your practices. A denial should be instant not 6 months down the line.
I was actually about to pay the 30$ and decided that it's nothing positive
I was looking in to this and nothing good in reviews in any place ..
Before I file a dispute
Before I file a dispute, I am reaching 48 hours since paying the $30. My bank statement says "Flex, Santa Clara CA" as descriptor and nothing more. When I search for additional information for the way it's listed or for any location information on drivewithflex.com, I am not getting anything to pull up. Prompt response is requested or a dispute will be filed.

I had to dispute my $30 application fee and get my money back because I woke up and it was a $30 transaction from flex and it identified as a computer company.. NOT a car leasing company ‼️‼️🚩🚩🚩

False Company or Just Bad Customer Service
I have done two separate applications and paid the application fee. I received a confirmation email both times but that was the only correspondence I received from them. There is no number to call and emailing proves useless as well. I recently sent an email only to receive an automated response. This was the response:
"Thank you for contacting Flex!
If you are an existing customer, please contact us using the support email provided in your welcome email for any assistance regarding your current application.
For all other inquiries regarding a new Flex lease, please visit our Support Center for answers to the most frequently asked questions. Please note that we do not offer live support for non Flex customers at this time, but our comprehensive support resources should address most questions and concerns.
Best regards,
Flex Customer Service"
Now, I have read the responses to the negative reviews. If I filled out the application improperly or if I was denied due to poor credit, shouldn't you be sending out some kind of correspondence to let people know what is going on? Let the person know their application is incomplete or that they were denied due to poor credit. Why let people continue to submit applications? Are you content with taking people's money and not delivering results? This may not be a scam, it may be a legit company. If so, there needs to be some serious work done in the customer service department and the entire website needs a revamping. You guys need to get it together or shut down.

A $30 application fee to lease a vehicle??? 😂 if you fall for that clear scam that’s on you. Never heard of such a thing. Prices too good to be true? That’s because it is! They don’t even allow comments on their instagram page so no one can burn their scam and they can take advantage of unsuspecting people.

Scam scam scam I did multiple applications going back 6 months. No phone numbers on the site. And any number you find for road service or warranty phone number isn’t associated with them . The concept is good I felt with a company that did the same in Florida. But eventually went bankcrupt. Just stay away

I will adjust to 5 stars if I get a response. It's been 4 days since I sufficiently completed the application. I see many responses from the business not taking ownership of a poor customer experience by claiming the customer didn't properly fill out the application. If that's the case, your system has a bug because it's allowing for the app to be submitted, conveniently along with the $30 fee so to put it back on anyone but your devs is embarrassing. This is a self imposed SLA of 48 hours, so the negative reviews are inherently self inflicted as well. Hoping to change this to 5 stars soon. THERE HAS BEEN ABSOLUTELY NO ATTEMPT TO CONTACT ME. I'VE CHECKED SPAM AND HAVE 0 MISSED CALLS. Own your experience and get better instead of pawning off the negative experience onto your end users. It's sad, stop it lmao

This is a scam.
This is a scam.. my credit is a 800 and make 6 figures a year. And told me that I had poor credit history, insufficient income, limited credit history. And turn me down lol... Do not pay the application fee it's a scam

NO CUSTOMER SERVICE AT ALL
I applied on their website, paid the $30 application fee and received a confirmation email from them saying they received my application. That was back on July 18, 2024, it's now August 1, 2024, and haven't heard anything back from them. I have tried to contact customer service to no avail, you send an email to their customer service email address listed on their website and all you get back is some automated response that doesn't address what your original questions were! There is no phone number listed to try and contact them!
