SCAM

I also googled DVLA found drivinglicenceguide.co.uk and called the number thinking I was calling DVLA. Both times I was on hold for 76 mins before being cut off - both calls cost me £12.54.
It is a scam. I have since found the right number for DVLA which is a local rate 0300 number. DO NOT CALL ANY OF THEIR NUMBERS.
I have also notified Action Fraud who, I hope, will take action to close the website and the phone numbers. I'm also going to try and contact Google and make them aware of this fraud.

Scam. Avoid

If you are trying to get through to the DVLA as their site is often down, a search for their contact number will lead to drivinglicenceguide.co.uk.

They give a list of various DVLA departments with phone numbers going from 08431160011 through to 08431160015.

They are all scam numbers, there's just an answerphone at the other end of the line saying you're in a queue and will be answered shortly. No-one ever answers, it's just a scam as you're being charged 5p per minute.

I called BT about the number, even their operative thought it was a genuine DVLA number, it was only after some investigation (probably when the DVLA site started working again) that she realised it wasn't DVLA at all.

There's no contact info on the site, just the phones that just rip you off.

A search of nominet whois revealed that the domain is registered to an Indian company, uncontactable.

It's a scam, avoid them
