We brought the retro handheld for £170.95
there was no sign of them shipping it, so we asked when it would be shipped, their response was, that they wanted us to pay another £60 on top of the listed price of £170.95. Very little in way of apology, no explanation as to why.
They did very kindly offer us a free screen protector as compensation if we paid the higher price, (I think already comes one as the manufacturer lists it as coming with a free screen protector)
They are very slow and replying to emails I had to call them to get a refund processed.
I am unhappy with the whole experience.
I give them 4 star purely on the basis that the refund was processed after I called them up
Product arrived as expected, with no issues within 48 hours of ordering.
Customer support was good, with information provided of when the product was shipped, and tracking information.
Additional information was also provided to help set up product which was much appreciated. I have had no issues with the product, but I imagine that Droix would provide good support if required based on the purchasing experience
Overall a very good experience purchasing from Droix.

Never ordered from Droix before, but have often checked their store out. I decided to finally give them a try and ordered an RG ARC-D yesterday at around 15:00. It arrived this morning at 10am!

Update: Droix have (for a cost) exchanged the Aya neo with a GPD mini. Which is working without issue. I stand by the review for Aya neo. it's not worth buying. however, Droix customer service have resolved my issue. I would used droix in the future.
I recently purchased an AYA NEO SLIDE Black from Droix, expecting a high-quality, reliable device. Unfortunately, my experience has been far from satisfactory, leading me to share my story as a caution to potential buyers.
The initial device I received exhibited numerous problems, including overheating, abnormal noises, frequent crashes, and severe performance issues. It even failed to load, not booting past a Windows error message. After reaching out to Droix's customer service, I was sent a replacement. However, to my dismay, the replacement unit mirrored the same issues – it was essentially non-functional, failing to boot past the same Windows error message.
What's more troubling is the slow response and lack of effective resolution from Droix's customer service. Despite multiple communications and explicitly stating the issues, the problem remains unresolved. As a customer, I expected a swift and efficient handling of this matter, especially given the premium nature of the product.
I have now escalated this issue by logging a case with PayPal and am considering further legal action under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 of the United Kingdom. This Act ensures that consumers are entitled to goods that are of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose, and as described. Droix has failed to meet these basic consumer rights.
This experience has been extremely frustrating and disappointing. I had high hopes for the AYA NEO SLIDE Black and for Droix as a provider of quality tech products. However, the reality has been a series of faulty products and inadequate customer service.
To potential buyers, I advise caution and suggest thoroughly researching before making a purchase from Droix. It's important that a company not only offers quality products but also backs them up with effective customer support, something that has been notably lacking in my experience.
Worse trying to get a suitable replacement is a major challenge

Ordered a RG35xx plus recently from Droix. Packaging was damaged when I received the item during the small amount of time Royal Mail had it. Reported to both RM and Droix. Droix were extremely helpful and apologetic even though it wasnt down to them.
Their customer service has been exemplary, money off next purchase and sending replacement screen protector damaged by Royal Mail. Item is working thankfully.

Some of us live in problematic accomodations for having expensive items delivered, and need tracked shipping via DPD, unfortunately though they are incredibly stubborn in regards to what shipping options they will give you, and it is the exact and sole reason I am hesitant to order.
Accepted an order on Saturday for an item that was in stock that should have been despatched Monday. Tuesday it hadn't, so I contacted support who said it would be going out that day and provided a tracking number. The next day the tracking number wasn't working and I hadn't received an e-mail, the order was still "preparing" so I reached out to support to be told it's out of stock. 2 business days before Christmas.I could have and should have ordered from Amazon instead.
Edit; I see they've responded to this 7 months after the incident. The reason the reviews are so high is that several months after a negative review they request more information via Trustpilot, if you don't respond the negative review is taken down. I want to make it clear there was a phone call in December where a manager admitted that it was worse than what I wrote in my review, because I don't have a recording of that call I didn't feel comfortable posting about it, as they can simply deny it and have the review taken down. Their proposed solution (mentioned in their response to this review) was to contact me in march and offer me an newer console (RG35XX Plus) for £50 which they said was a discount, however that was the price the console could be bought for on a competing websiter. Not really a solution, not even a discount.
