Have used drone nerds for years on the weekend Went to the shop talk to Harold who helped me figure out A small problem with my drone he could have easily sold me a new drone instead he did the right thing and was honest and showed me a glitch that I was personally doing wrong in the operation of my drone that I thought was broken I've always used drone nerds and you can trust them with great prices and the absolutely best service

Impressed with ticketing system

Sent Inspire 1 for repair estimate. Ended up deciding to purchase a new drone instead of going through with the repair after getting the estimate back. But was impressed by the ticketing system and how they stayed on top of everything.

My first experience with Drone Nerds was great! Robbie is a stand-up guy and took care of my order personally. Nice guy and fun to talk to by the way. Based on my experience, I don't understand the negative reviews. This was my first purchase from Drone Nerds and I will purchase from them again!

I’ve paid to have my mavic mini 2…

I’ve paid to have my mavic mini 2 repaired, it’s been well over a month and I have not received my drone. I received and email over a week ago saying a shipping label has been created, it’s been over a week and it still says pending on fed ex and that they are waiting on the product to arrive. I’m beginning to think I’ve been scammed out of $380 and will be waiting for their response in my drones status this week. I’ll likely end up reporting them to the authorities and making appropriate parties aware that this company is fraudulent.

Liars, manipulative, and hide reviews

Tried to buy the 3 pack of refurbished air 2 batteries showed only 1 left so I rushed to buy it, I checked a day later on the status of my order and it showed on back order, contacted customer support their story was someone bought it before I did, I check a couple of days later and it shows again only one left but my order is still on back order. They are clearly playing with people showing they have only 1 left so they rush to buy only to spew the lie that someone else bought it before them. Also I wrote a review of my experience 1 star review and it doesn’t show up in their reviews.

We received several reports of some items showing "1 left" when the stock was 0 but perhaps a unit was available in "Open Box" inventory. Our IT team has addressed this issue and it should not be repeating itself. Our Customer Support team was under the impression that if there be one item left and the order went on backorder, it meant someone else checked the item out before you did. Be assured they were in complete good faith. Your feedback does appear and is duly noted and appreciated.

Drone nerds is trash

Drone nerds is trash. Don't recommend you order anything from them. Poor customer service. Never received my order from them but yet can't get a refund.. trash business, and I didn't get my full refund I got everything but the shipping fee back finally, so at least I got back most of my money except for the shipping fee.. wish I would have gotten ALL my money back being I never received anything at all but yet paid full price and shipping fees..

When you eventually started a return, there must have been a mix-up somewhere, because we received a box of canned goods. Awesome Customer Service

Ordered the New DJI air2s..Rc Pro, Fly more combo as we don't have them in Australia and Dronenerds were the only place I could find who would send them.....

Long story Short, for the first time ever I got Stung with GST and import tax before the drone had even left the USA (Must be a FedEx thing) and was charged almost $350au dollars that had to be paid before Borderforce would even release it.

All the savings I made had now just gone with the import taxes and I was really p#ssed off and upset with what had happened telling Dronenerds what happened.

The sales assistant I was emailing was not even trying to help me, so I then wanted to communicate with the manager there, but instead got there Customer Support person.

Bernardo was his name, and he is an absolute LEGEND who actually refunded me the Import Tax Fees...

Love my Air2s and the Rc pro is so convenient.

Thankyou Dronenerds for making a really Crapy Sales experience (Stupid Fedex) turn into the best customer service experience I have ever had..

Is it a scam

I sent 2 drones, sparks. They said neither could be fixed and that they would sell me a refurbished one for $199. So I said don't send the old ones back. So they charged me$230 plus shipping and sent the other drones back to me. Their customer support is no good and it's only $20 or $30 ,but we even sent a drone that was able to be fixed and they said they couldn't fix it. I think they do this to most people that don't know about drones.

I purchased a Mavic Air2 FlyMore Combo…

I purchased a Mavic Air2 FlyMore Combo at the end of May2021. It arrived mid June. The charging brick did not work so had to submit RMA and wait for response. Then sent back and they replaced but did not include the power cord to plug it in. Then I got a battery error and shortly after got motor failure warning on the FlyMore app. Contacted Drone nerds and their response was to contact DJI for warranty repairs. The drone has 3 hours max usage and they tell me this? Terrible customer service and I’m extremely dissatisfied.

drone nerds is awful

drone nerds is awful! I got ripped off. They are preying on people who send them drones, then they give a reply back that they checked it but theyll have to do more(and they didnt even open it up), but that I needed to pay $499. Then if you dont pay the $104 dollars to send it back, they keep to keep your drone and recycle the parts. What a scam. What a fool I was. Should have just bought a new drone. The drone I wanted fixed was only $600. They wanted $499 to replace the camera...sheesh. sinful.

Parrot does not have any repair locations in the United States and will not repair a drone out of warranty. So basically, a Parrot product that brakes out of warranty is just a throw away unit and your money.

This was the company Parrot told me to use since they do not care about customers out of warranty. I researched replacing the gimbal myself and found that it is hardware-locked to the drone so replacement parts are useless to the average consumer. I assume Dronenerds has a back room deal with Parrot. I will never purchase any Parrot products again. I expect a company to stand behind their product and have a way for the consumer to economically get repaired when a fairly new drone, with little flying time, needs service out of warranty. I do not feel Parrot, as a company, provides a consumer (Your customers) that service.

Anyway, back to DroneNerds. The ANAFI was sent to them for repair. (They are the ONLY company that will repair an ANAFI). The letter below was sent to me weeks after they received the drone.

After diagnosing this drone we have come to the conclusion that this Parrot Anafi will need a new camera/gimbal. The camera/gimbal is not responding to commands from the remote and will not complete calibrations, the camera/gimbal is damaged and will need to be replaced. The repairs/labor will be $499 and $35 for return shipping, please let us know how you would like to move forward with this drone. I declined to have the drone fixed by Drone Nerds due to the ridiculous price. The repair price of $499 +$35 + $100 Diagnostics total ($634). The price of an ANAFI is $699.99 from best buy. What a rip-off. I wish I had looked at reviews for them first. On their web page they have 5star reviews (FAKE). Look at other review sights for them to get the truth.

I have an order in for a SKYDIO 2 drone that has a better camera, better built, has obstacle avoidance of any drone and is made in the US. Time will tell if Skydio is a good company since they are very new. I just know Parrot is not the company for me.

Dishonest and unprofessional

Dishonest and unprofessional. Straight sat on my aircraft for months then lied about parts availability. By lied, I mean I contacted DJI with the line Drone Nerds tried to sell me and they said it was totally false. Total Losers.

Paid $1900, flew 40 minutes…motherboard failed... $1499 to replace it

I bought a Parrot Thermal drone for $1900. After 40 minutes of flying it stopped working (the camera would not go up and down) I sent it in for repair, and called them after 6 weeks. they told me the mother board had failed and it would cost me .... get this... $1499 to fix it, plus $67 shipping.
This is my second review of Drone Nerds. My first complained that their customer service people never answered my questions about the new drone
