From the outset David was super impressive, from his knowledge, to the communication , to the install, even the after sales has been absolutely superb, I got quotes from the “larger” companies, some gave me quotes and didn’t even visit my house, David talked me through what we should require and offered us the best equipment on the market in my opinion, from start to finish I cannot recommend this man enough, anyone that wants solar panels this is your man, local in my area, you will not regret it, i cannot tell you more that this business is absolutely superb, I would give him 10 stars if I could, thank you David

We have just had 16 solar panels, 10kW batteries and a car charger installed by David and his team. Very professionally done, with great attention to detail. The install was carried out quickly and efficiently with no cutting of corners and everything was left clean and tidy. By the end of the day we were generating our own electricity and filling our batteries!
We would definitely recommend DSA Solar to anyone looking for a reliable installer.

After spending weeks researching and having site visits and quotations done we decided to go with DSA Solar and it's been the best choice. Not the cheapest quote but certainly the best value as it included more panels and the solar scheme designed was best suited to our needs. David designed a system far superior to others who just wanted to install the quickest and easiest set up. David designed using 19 panels rather than 14 that others were suggesting we install for a similar price and David saw an opportunity to use a gateway rather than us spending more to buy a generator for when power was out thus allowing the solar system to run off grid, saving us money and having a seamless switchover when needed.

On our 2nd day we generated close to 30Kwhr of electricity, with the batteries taking most of that, our water being heated and rest back into grid.

Unbelievably good system, great reassurance with warranties provided and both panels and battery install is msc certified (most companies out there are only msc certified for panels). Install was so tidy, no mess left and no corners cut. Definitely happy to recommend DSA Solar. We are so impressed we are already pricing another battery to add which using EcoFlow system that David uses is a simple add on.

I can't recommend David and his team highly enough. Explained the process from start to finish and completed the install in 2 days. Delighted with the results.

A great local business to deal with

I carried out extensive research into solar panels and battery backup systems before choosing DSA Solar, and I’m so pleased I did.

David took the time to understand exactly what I wanted and sourced the Gen 3 panels I was looking for. He also supplied the GSE ground mount system, which we adapted to 37 degrees to achieve maximum efficiency based on the direction the panels are facing. His knowledge and attention to detail really stood out.

On his recommendation, I went with a GivEnergy inverter and battery backup system. Initially, I had two 9.5kW batteries installed, but due to running a 14.4kW heat pump, I’ve since added a third battery to increase storage capacity. The flexibility of the system and David’s forward-thinking advice have made a big difference — the more storage I have, the better it works for my setup.

Nothing was ever too much trouble for David and his team. From start to finish, the whole process was handled professionally and efficiently, and the quality of the installation was first class.

I would highly recommend DSA Solar to anyone considering solar and battery storage. An excellent service all round.

We can't recommend David and the roofing crew highly enough, from David's initial visit and quote to the installation today have been completely satisfied, 10 minutes after the system was switched on it was generating 5kw and had the batteries 70% full by 4.00 on a January day!

Really good experience from initial enquiry through to installation. I like to understand as much as I can about the tech and David was very patient and clear when responding to my multiple questions.

Solar had been on my mind for quite some time due to our setup and heavy reliance on electricity, especially having a heat pump and working from home. With a very technical mindset, I spent months researching solar and approached several installers with a clear idea of what I wanted and the equipment required.

Many installers couldn’t answer basic questions or suggested unsuitable setups, things I already knew were incorrect. I then came across David at DSA Solar, and from the first conversation I knew he was the right fit. His knowledge is top tier, and importantly, I was dealing directly with an experienced installer rather than a salesperson.

David fully understood my requirements, matched my thinking, and also pointed out a few things I hadn’t considered. I went ahead with an EcoFlow system, and David and his team arrived exactly as scheduled and completed the installation to a very high standard.

A small issue was identified with a circuit from a previous electrician. Rather than ignoring it, David highlighted the problem and corrected it—something that spoke volumes about his professionalism.

I’m very particular about neatness, and the workmanship was excellent. No messy trunking, no shortcuts, and the roofers were also first class, even fixing a few storm-damaged tiles during the install.

Price is an important factor when choosing solar, but the cheapest option isn’t always the best. Quality, knowledge, and doing the job correctly matter far more in the long run. Anyone considering solar should choose carefully as there are unfortunately a lot of cowboys out there, and DSA Solar stands well above the rest.

On its first day in late December, the system generated over 4.5 kWh, which is very promising for the months ahead.

I have complete confidence in DSA Solar and no regrets choosing them. If there are ever any issues, David is just a phone call away, no call centres or being passed around.

Just had system installed by DSA Solar. David was very informative and made sound recommendations before installing our system within a week. All the work was completed with the minimum of disruption and tidy workmanship. David also set us up by thoroughly explaining the app and how to get the most out if our system. Great job.
