Don‘t use thia provider

Unfortunately, my experience with this provider was unsatisfactory. Due to exclusive contracts with certain buildings, there were no alternative options available. Based on my experience, I would recommend considering alternatives such as 5G internet where possible.

I would leave ZERO starts if possible.

I would leave ZERO starts if possible.
In my third year with them, I had only 2 problems, but that was enough. Their customer support is literally useless, and I wonder how a bad experience it also must be to work for them.
When you call informing your internet is down, their answer is "we have opened a case and you must wait for a contact from a technician". After 4 days, no contacts from technicians, despite how many time I call and emphasize that my wife and I work only from home and internet is a must.
If you have other providers available, just go with any other one!

Here are the problems I encountered…

Here are the problems I encountered with this company. I will keep it to the facts so that you can make your own decision on using them or not:

1. Billing Issues - 4 times in 5 months, they took the direct Debit from my bank and then put the money back into my bank account. Months later, they said I had not paid and charged me late fees. I showed to them the facts and they blamed my bank and me. Only after threatening lawyer action did they wave the fees. They made no attempt to find out what was the real cause of the issue to avoid this happening in the future. Due to that, I decided to take away direct debit and control it myself.

2. Connection issues: It is a constant battle of me calling them to let them know the wifi disconnects from some of my devices every 10 to 15 minutes and is a pain to get reconnected. They will fix it (48 hours or more later) and then within one week, the problem returns. It is a constant loop and battle and the expectations are usually that I do the leg work to find out the root cause. (see a theme yet?)

3. Customer Service - Customer service in Germany for these types of industries is notoriously horrible. DT Net Services is no different. Delayed responses (if any at all) and blaming the customer are what you can expect. I will say that the DT Net Service fault hotline people have been at least nice on the phone but the rest is abysmal.

Everything was fine till the internet…

Everything was fine till the internet stopped out of a sudden. The customer service doesn't answer the phone, and don't waste your time sending an email because they don't check it. It almost looks like they are doing a favor to you, allowing you to use their services (which you pay for, it's not free).
