Not worthy of your money

The new latex mattress does not feel like the one tried in the shop. The feeling is similar to sleeping on a poor quality memory foam mattress. The mattress is much smaller than described and Dunlopillo is not interested. This company is going downhill and should be avoided at all cost.

DO NOT BUY DUNLOPILLO

DO NOT BUY DUNLOPILLO, Absolutely shocking quality. The topper has parted company with the base after 18mths and slipped to one side. As requested I paid £50 to have the mattress examined and even the independent examiner was horrified with the poor quality when we looked inside the cover. The 10yr warranty is absolutely worthless. Please contact me for some photos if you are thinking of buying one of these mattresses and you will be shocked at the horrendous quality. The company have not even offered to refit the top, they do not want to know, shocking.
I see they do not respond to any of the reviews either, terrible customer service.
I see these mattresses and the company are starting to get the reputation they deserve, I will be doing all I can to discourage as many potential customers as I can.

Not the best mattress

I bought a latex mattress in sept. I have been in pain since I bought it resulting in back and neck issues and my waking up stiff every morning. I have spent loads of money on physiotherapy and Im still in pain from the mattress.. I have spent over 1850euros for a mattress not worthy of its value and quality. I want a money refund!!!!

I wouldn’t buy again!!

I purchased a Firmrest mattress less than a year ago now. I really wanted a latex mattress again but I have to say that sadly this is without doubt the most uncomfortable mattress I’ve ever slept on. I was hoping that after a while it would soften up but no...I’d describe it as sleeping on a brick it’s that uncomfortable. I do like a firm mattress but this is unbelievable firm!

Nightmares on Dunlopillo Mattress

I had the worst experience for having a NEW 11" King Size Dunlopillo "Back Supporter" Bed which I bought in Singapore on 1st Sept 2020. I had been suffering from "serious back pain" daily every night around 4 to 5am because of the pain for 20 nites I had to wake up in the middle of my sleep. The last sharp pain that I can't even move or turn around on the bed, that is the time I totally given up sleeping on this mattress.

In their web advert it stated clearly " Back Supporter" , "Minimise Partner Disturbances" and " Prevent Neck Pain from Sinking Mattress" but my feedback to the factory about my problems like 1) Back pain instead of aching after sleeping, 2) middle of the bed sink in after lying down for a while and 3) the bed is so bouncy when my partner move and we request the staff  to come to my home to rectify these problem but this was not acknowledged by the staff as he said this model all the stock are the same!

After paying higher price for a reputable brand, hoping to get a good sleep, it end up nightmare!

As the staff mentioned it is not refundable and of goodwill he can help is to upgrade the mattress and ask me to pay extra  $250 for the 13" "Back Supporter Supreme" model!

In the first place, I buy this mattress (Dunlopillo) together as a package with a storage bed and instead of getting the standard package mattress(other btand), me and my wife are willing to pay extra for a reputable brand Dunlopillo and in the advert it sound convicting, the showroom salesman did mentioned the 3 sizes of Supporter are the same except the sizes of the height. We didn't go for the 10" as it maybe too thin or the 13" as it is too high, heavy and bulky for us and on the storage bed. For the 11" mattress we already had difficulty lifting up the storage bed!

The money has been paid and the item only purchased for less than 20 days and  we had already feedback these problems much earlier but the staff are not willing to drop by to rectify the problems and delay on it but we are force to accept a upgrade to pay extra $250 to solve this problems on 23 Sept 2020. Since there is no other alternative for this matter, I counter offer the staff for a refund n we are willing to deduct $250 from the promo price of $1,099.00 that we purcahsed but he don't accept it.

Is it fair? Any misleading in their advet? What is the warranty for? Like there is 1000cc,  1600cc and 2000cc car, you choose a 1600cc car due to  reasons why and this 1600cc car gives you problems but agent instead of rectify the problems he wants you to upgrade and pay for more😫

** Send 7 emails and Dunlopillo only reply once, the rest the staff prefered to talk thru the phone😡

Disappointed with new Royal Sovereign…

Disappointed with new Royal Sovereign mattress, had two previous dunlopillo matresses paying £1900 each time, the latter 2 were great which is why we chose a 3rd, it is just not the same thickness, quality or comfort feeling as the others, it is much thinner for a start and no pillow top like the previous mattress, which I had not been brand loyal and chose something more comfortable for a lot less money.

The mattress has become uneven, and Dunlopillo aren't interested

I've used Dunlopillo mattresses for years, but the last purchase has been a bitter disappointment. After five years, it has furrows where my wife and I lie in bed, the side support is weak, and it's not level. So we raised a query under the guarantee. The technician who came to view it told us that a depression of 0.5 cm per year is 'normal', and so that a deep depression of 2.5 cm after 5 years would be considered to fall within the specification.

The measurements taken by the technician were exclusively made along the length of the sleeping position, not crosswise. It follows that even deeper furrows than we have would not have been considered problematic, because they would not have been measured. Beyond that, the combination of a firm middle and lack of support at the sidewall means that we cannot sleep on the bed without being on a sideways slope. Again, however, that is not what was being tested.

This is the fifth Dunlopillo mattress I have had, and none of the others - two are still in use - has worn anything like as badly. The mattress was very expensive - for the same price, we could have had a new mattress every year. We were told that deeper mattresses show more settlement. The implication of buying a more expensive mattress is that it will not last as long or keep its shape as well as others. Stick to the lower priced options.

Bought a millennium and have had no end…

Bought a millennium and have had no end of trouble. Paid nearly £3000+ for a super king having tried it in Dreams. As per other reviewer mentioned, it is MUCH firmer than shown. After 3 months it did not spring back, causing even firmer compression points that means the only way to get a comfortable position is to mould back in to the indents!! Called dreams and had an independent assessment done. The result was that the 'indents' were not sufficient to claim a faulty mattress. We were told to rotate the matress every few weeks. BE WARNED...this is a VERY HEAVY mattress and virtually impossible to rotate. We have now given up rotating as frequently as it is VERY DANGEROUS to health and we risk damaging our backs even further...in fact I am now considering calling in the Health and Safety Executive to perform a RISK ASSESSMENT.
All in all a TERRIBLE mattress, with warranty promises that are NOT upheld . We had a Dunopilo mattress 16 years ago, and it was amazing, hence we bought another; but be warned, the new so called 'contoured' support is rubbish, AND if you do manage to rotate this mattress the zones change and it is even more uncomfortable. We are seemingly stuck with ours, but I would not want anyone to spend this much money and be saddled with a white elephant like we are.
