They take your money and don’t deliver anything!

Don't expect much from this company, poor service, long wait times, no product received. Ended up going through my bank for a refund. Look elsewhere!

Fast delivery great customer service very satisfied

There was a few things that set DVDLand aside from others who were much larger organisations, they have a great selection of stock, their prices were much cheaper than the big guys and their delivery was considerably cheaper and much faster than the big organisations, can’t think of a reason now why I would look elsewhere in the future.

I ordered and paid for a movie that had pre-order status. That was last year... Several times I have contacted the company and inquired about the status of the order only to be told that there would be an update shortly. I can see that other customers have had similar experiences with this company so there seems to be a pattern. They take your money but do not provide you with what you have paid for. They have not replied to my questions since Easter this year, so today I officially give up on ever receiving my dvd. Do not shop there.

Purchased item in stock and then found out wasn’t in December 2025, it’s June 2026 and still no item delivered. Last reply was still on back order and my request for refund ignored. I think they bank on the fact that purchased items are under $100 and too difficult for people to fight for. Rip off agents

Would give -1 stars if i could. Do not buy and do not trust this company. I placed an order Feb 2025 and it said it was on back order. Dates kept being pushed back. After 14 months of waiting and no order, I asked for a refund. Now being ghosted by company. Was over $250 order.

Fantastic service, great turn around time

I'm still waiting for a box set it brought off dvd land almost a year now. Got no response of what's happening or if or when it will get sent. It's like taken my money in advance and ran. The box set is out in other stores. What the hell where's my blimey order.

If I could give a 0 rating I would. I bought a Gremlins collectable at the start of March. Spending over $400 3 months later after countless emails of them promising it would come later that month I still didn’t get it. When I went through PayPal to get a refund they lied to them supplying a tracking number that didn’t belong to my order to get out of refunding me. When I emailed them again today first they offered a refund then told me they wouldn’t as PayPal had already refunded me. When I supplied proof that PayPal hadn’t refunded me they stopped responding to my emails. Avoid dealing with them as they ripped me off and it wouldn’t surprise me if they did it to others.

After threatening to go to the ACCC and providing more proof to PayPal that they lied about my order being delivered by providing PayPal with a tracking number that didn’t belong to my order I am getting a refund from PayPal

DVDLAND (AKA Pop Pelican) BEWARE - DO NOT BUY FROM THEM! THEY SEND PARCEL UNDER DIFFERENT NAME AND ADDRESS AND SAY YOU COLLECTED IT!! AUSTRALIA POST ARE AWARE AND WATCHING!

Ordered Dec 2025, never received my order. Expected release January, then end of April, it's now May, and still no items! There's been zero communication, unless I have initiated it, I have no tracking for the order, it is now saying complete on their website - Do yourself a favour and look into their reviews before purchasing, I certainly wished I had! - In QLD and NSW - 2 business names - reported to ACCC!

The stock available is amazing. Very reasonably priced, the dvds arrived quickly.
A great gift for my elderly mother who does not have internet,as she is only able to watch the series when she visits me.in this way she can watch her shows at her convenience

Ordered two games for Switch which the site indicated were in stock.

The order summary then updated to backorder - two weeks. No explanation. At this point I requested a refund for express shipping, since that seemed silly to pay for on a backorder. I was told I would only be refunded when the order shipped - not exactly reasonable in my view.

Nearly two weeks later, I ask for an update on the order and whether the two weeks delay was still accurate. At this point I was told the items would not reach the store for another two weeks. Requested a refund immediately.

Shabby customer service and frankly deceptive indications of what's available. Won't be purchasing from them again.

Had to chase my order "will be in soon" (wasnt even on backorder!) they did offer to ship 2 of my 4 products that were in stock but I was happy to wait. After 5 weeks I had to chase them again, advised them to cancel my order and instead, they shipped half and told me to be grateful because they posted express at their expense 🙄 Then advised theyd submit a change of mind refund for me to return the product. After following up on this told me they cant offer that as they cant resell the items... what a joke! Customer service for a "family owned business" they promote is even worse than the shipping delays.
