The worst taxi company in London

The worst taxi company in London! I'm a driver, and today I received a job from this company for the first time. The service was scheduled for 10:00 AM and 1:00 PM. After three hours, the customer rudely called me and canceled the ride. So today I wasted my day waiting for a customer who never showed up, and I didn't even get paid. TERRIBLE!

The worst company I have ever worked…

The worst company I have ever worked for! It is simply disgusting the way they do things. Their office is in Pakistan, where there is a controller who is paid peanuts and who does his best to juggle jobs in England. They claim to have an office in Epsom, but that is only a virtual office… which means there is no office, it’s only a mailbox. They have a one room office in an office building in Kingston, which is not open to the public. This is a ghost company with only 6 drivers... you’ll be surprised what you can do online nowadays. When you call the number to book a car, there is always a message that tells you that the operators are busy... just a load of bull@#*... it’s a delay needed to transfer your call to Pakistan, where the poor guy, who works 27 hours a day, will take your job in between snacks and tv shows. Their English is very poor and it is always very difficult to understand what they mean. Often this resulted in me being sent to the wrong address. You can imagine how upset was the passenger when I arrived at the pickup point 45 minutes late for an airport transfer. She told me that she missed her flight because of me. This happened a week before I stopped working for them, because I hate working on these terms. They paid me always late and the money was so bad, that I often had trouble getting petrol for my car. I’ve been cabbing for many years and with this company it was the very first time that I wasn’t able to fill up my tank and instead I had to put £10 or £20 at a time. I have never been so tired and sleepy at the wheel like with this company. On most days I had to get up at 3:00am and sometimes I couldn’t go to bed before midnight! You need some numbers to really understand: the week before leaving Dynamic Cars, I worked 78.5 hours, 10 to 15 hours a day, I drove 1200 miles and I earned about £50 a day, or about £4 an hour BEFORE TAX! The minimum wage for a driver in London is £12 at the moment. On a few occasions I had to argue with them, because they would push me to drive beyond my safe limit... I clearly told them that I was going to fall asleep at the wheel and they kept asking me to accept a further job!
What really annoys me, is the fact that they haven’t paid everything that was due to me. I have worked very hard for them for very little money and I wasn’t even given all that little money! AND in spite of me asking more than once, they didn’t even give me an explanation as why they retained part of my earnings. Thankfully there is a choice out there. When you book a cab, especially for an airport transfer, choose somebody who has an office open to the public; at least if something goes wrong, you know where to go. One last thing: don’t be impressed by all the five stars, they are all from drivers, friends and family.
