This a serious complaint about the service provided on Saturday 6th Oct for both my sons birthday party. Firstly I am extrememely disappointed and upset with the marquee I was provided with. I video called ANESH a few days before the actual day to go through again what I needed within my marquee.Although,couple of months ago I was made them aware that I would need a BBQ at the end of the garden, ANESH suggested not to incorporate the BBQwithin the marquee and to put a catering tent at the end of the garden, I agreed reluctantly although that was not the plan. I did inform Anesh if they had viewed the garden in person we would not have this conversation and ANESH told me he will give me a full refund.
In my perspective, you have provided a inadequate marquee which did not fit the purpose of my event. It didn’t cover my garden as I requested and it did not even reach the end of the garden as requested to fit the BBQ area. ANESH used innacurate measurements to provide a quote despite my several requests for you to view my garden. My request was refused as 'so called' directors said so. I also provided images and videos, even video calling to make this went smooth as possible.
DYNAMIC MARQUEE turned up on Friday morning expecting me to take day off just watch the marquee go up. The fitter came and the problems started , can’t put pole there because this and that is in the way. The catering tent put up was a smaller size because the one according to the quote was too big, as a result the marquee was not covered up, leaving gaps exposing us to strong winds and rain. I spent my morning on the phone stressed out speaking to my mum and the fitter and ANESH. In the end I had to come home from work to check a simple job. IF only you quoted by viewing and not assuming and relying on others, WHO DOES THAT, COMPLETELY UNPROFESSIONAL COMPANY.
When I complained to cover the gaps, I was told to go to B&Q to get tarpaulin ....lol really
I was shocked and upset by the attitude, I asked ANESH for a partial refund as I could not at this point go and buy tarpaulin to cover for their botched job. ANESH said he was going provide a full refund
SoI paid for a fully covered garden and lost 3meters.
Then it rained and the temperature dropped on Saturday so I had to spend the whole day covering gaps and water leaks trying to make it comfortable for my guests. It would have been warmer if the side were covered correctly but couldn’t because of the poles which made it awkward to fit. This would not have happened if DYNAMIC MARQUEE had bothered to view my garden and not just quoted from another source of a company.
I had my caterers put another tent under yours just to be shaded from rain and wind and smoke filled my house( which is why I wanted the BBQ away from my house and towards the end of the garden.
I called this a lack of common sense and laziness and no professionality which could have been avoided and not ruining both my SONS birthdays. I have never been stressed and upset into something so simple.
I would like to request full investigation into my complaint and I want a reasonable compensation provided and a response.
