Dyslexia Foundation Reviews 

I have been using this service for a year now since I have been told that I have dyslexia and it has really helped me with my academic work at university. Sometimes it is hard for me to get out what I want to say putting it on paper, but my tutor Paul Wilson explains things clearly and makes sense of my ideas.

Paul Wilson has helped and supported me through my first and second year of uni .I am so happy with the high level & quality of his tuition. I feel with his support I have gained lots of learning also, he is really patient with me and I cannot speak highly enough of the support i received from Paul.

I'd like to express my gratitude to Paul Wilson for all of his help during my final year of studies. Paul is a patient man who would go out of his way to make sure I had a weekly session, even if it was outside of his working hours. Paul helped me improve my academic skills. Thank you for your support. I would highly recommend Paul as a tutor.

Where to start! I would have been lost without Dan he was my saviour in every way possible. I think I learnt more of him than I ever did in English at school. From planning, to punctuation, to writing styles and tips, he really helped me in more ways than I ever expected. I built a great bond with Dan and was sad to leave our sessions, it’s like a therapy session and teaching session in one. Can’t thank him enough for everything. Thank you Annie

I cannot thank my dyslexia tutor Darren enough. He has helped me so much for my finally years of uni. He was there to help talk me through my assignments but also calm me when I was nervous about speaking. He provided me with lots of helpful information and is always lovely to chat to. He has gone above and beyond for me.

Dan has helped me out through out the year, and his support has led to an big improvement in my grades. Highly recommend. Top bloke as well.

During my time at university and after receiving a diagnosis of dyslexia from Liverpool John Moores university the support from the dyslexia foundation has helped me immensely with my studies. It has helped me progress through my undergraduate degree to my Master of Mechanical engineering year. I have had great difficulty with writing academic reports and essays from a young age and the support has helped me to develop and increase my skills in order to complete assignments at a high level.

The support from Dan has increased my academic skills and has given me more confidence when undertaking coursework assignments.

Excellent support with PhD from Dan; helping with structure etc, and how to approach reading and paragraphing.

Really enjoy all of our sessions, always a great help especially coming up to deadlines

Over the last three years the support I have recieved from Darren, has been so valuable. Apart from supporting my dyslexia issues academically, he has on many occasions discussed my condition and helped me understand how it impacts me. Being diagnosed as an adult has not made my journey through education easy, but Darren has been there with his compassionate approach in supporting Learning disabilities. Thank you Darren 🙌
