Big scam company

I sent my girlfriend in Germany from the UK a couple of personal items she forgot here, a few worthless keyrings and bits. No value at all. I paid DPD £17 to send this in 4 days. A few days later my girlfriend received a strange email demanding 11euros.
She ignored it because she found it strange.

She called DPD and they refused to speak to her.

She then received an email to complete something stupid called power of attorney, because they actually don't know what that means, she forwarded it to me.

I looked at it, completed it. The value inside de parcel was pre- filled and 0.99p but they wanted me to pay 6 Euros. I submitted the form and immediately I received an email with a receipt saying I need to pay nearly 9 Euros but no way to pay or speak to someone.

I read dozens of reviews and can't believe this company is even allowed to trade.

I called DPD UK and the guy on the phone told me that eCom solutions is partnered with DPD on customs and they charge a fee. I explained the situation but they said they can't do anything but I then challenged him when he said that once eCom releases the parcel it gives it back to DPD Germany.

This is a big con, a gigantic scam.

I'm gonna see how far this goes but certainly going to challenge this and get my compensation from DPD.

Meanwhile I emailed DPD UK and DPD Germany and silence.

E-Com Solution GmbH Is a Fraud - avoid at all costs

E-Com Solution GmbH Is a Fraud – Avoid at All Costs

E-Com Solution GmbH intercepts low-value goods and holds them hostage, demanding a so-called “handling fee” before release. Items below the €45 duty-free import threshold are not subject to additional duties—all they need to do is hand them over to Deutsche Post for delivery. Instead, they deliberately delay shipments and extort fees from unsuspecting customers.

Such a disgraceful company. I don’t see them staying in business for long. Avoid them if you can!
