Refund Recovered via Bank – DMS Promotions Ltd Trading As (E-Vapes)

I placed an order with E-Vapes which is a trading name of DMS Promotions Ltd, I placed an order on 24 June 2025, which was cancelled by E-Vapes the same day. I was informed via email that a refund of £43.99 had been issued. As of 11 July 2025, I had still not received it.
Despite multiple follow-ups, the retailer provided no proof that a refund was actually processed. Instead, they repeatedly deflected responsibility onto their payment processor (WorldPay), who in turn confirmed the matter rests solely with the retailer.
Fortunately, my bank has now credited the amount back to my account while they continue their investigation under Section 75 of the Consumer Credit Act 1974.
To make matters worse, I found a similar product from another retailer for over 75% less, with outstanding customer service. The contrast couldn’t be clearer.
This experience was unnecessarily stressful and unacceptable. I would strongly advise potential customers to proceed with caution.
