This luggage gets very dirty.
I purchase an Eagle Creek Gear Warrior XE 2 Wheeled 30" in Sand Dune colour and while it as several positive technical features, the outer fabric used features a dobby weave, which has a more textured surface compared to smooth, coated materials. This material attracts dirt very easily and after a few trips involving flights, mine looks pretty disgusting. Worse still, I can't shift the stains with normal cleaning. Consequently, I'm embarrassed to be seen wheeling around this Eagle Creek luggage! Also, I tried to complain that the material was not fit for purpose, but it was dismissed by the company.

March 25 Edit: I heard back from the company regarding this issue and while my experience with this bag haven’t changed, I am pleased to say I was happy Eagle Creek reached out regarding my experience.
I bought a 65L Eagle Creek Tarmac XE 4- wheel bag. Love their back packs and compression packs so I had very high expectations for my first suitcase. The first trip it was on, it came off the luggage carousel missing a wheel. I contacted them and determined it had to be sent to Mo real to make the repair. This was easy. Sadly, it took 9 months for the repaired bag to be returned. The very next trip a wheel came off again, after very first flight leaving me lugging around a 3-wheeled suitcase for a month long trip. A terrible bag!!! Upon arriving home I contacted Eagle Creek Customer service about my experiences. This was over 3 weeks ago and I have heard nothing back. I will not be purchasing Eagle Creek again - poor quality and worse, poor customer service.
Worthless lifetime warranty
I have been using Eagle Creek luggage now for over 20 years attaracted by the lifetime warranty.
I sent a Bag back with damaged corners, plastic covers had gone hard & split. had the bag for many years but very seldom used.
Repairer doesnt have the corners so my warranty claim rejected by EC as 'fair wear & tear'.
Save your money, by cheaper and jsut replace when it fails.

it does look solid, and premium, i'm more happy than with my previous Delsey bag, already had 1 trip with this, it gets dirty very quickly since colour is GOLD, but it doesn't bother me (I expected that to be honest) so if You care about this, take black/blue
only one inconvinicence is that thier website login/register is not working properly, i couldn't login and acess receipt & invoice,
I asked via email, and it arrived after 2 weeks.
so customer service could be a bit better, but i can't say they didn't reply,
usually max 24hours they always did,
I will purchase again for sure!
Appalling after sales service with this Eagle Creek rucksack
I bought an Eagle Creek Tour Travel Pack 55l. It wasn’t cheap. I picked it up by the waist strap and it tore where it was attached. There was 13kg of load in the pack - not excessive. I contacted Ultralight Outdoor Gear - the supplier. They contacted their supplier who stated that it must have happened ‘in transit’ and wasn’t their problem. The bag actually has a feature that allows you to zip all external straps within the bag for airline transport so they obviously don’t even know their own product.
Don’t buy one. The after sales service is appalling

Nightmare delivery that takes several weeks. It's so bad I don't think they should be accepting orders from the UK.
If you're from the UK, I really advise that you don't order from eaglecreek.eu and try to order from a UK shop.
If you think the eaglecreek.eu is somehow more trustworthy, I warn you that you might never get your luggage in time for your holiday. It's completely hopeless and the company doesn't provide updates.
The delivery times (13 business days - i.e. 3 weeks) are absolutely unacceptable for what they charge. They should redirect you to a UK store and not take your order and leave you stranded without your luggage just before going on holiday.
Really unhappy. I will never use this company again.
Quality and customer service
I’ve had this suitcase for around 10 years, and it’s been excellent — durable, reliable, and really well-made. It comes with a lifetime warranty, and when the wheels recently broke, I contacted their European office by email. In less than a week, I received two replacement wheels. Great customer service and a brand that truly stands by its products!
Eagle Creek $uck$ Big Hairy Ones !
I purchased an Eagle Creek Expanse 105L rolling duffle bag in Burlington Ontario 09\24 for a cool $325 CAD.
On my first trip, two flights in, the wheels started "dragging" as though the bearings were shot. Additionally the tread on the wheels were completely worn!
I was also assured by the vendor that the wheels are user replaceable when I made the purchase.
Well, first trip... here I am in Mexico City... and both wheels are shot. Eagle Creek's toll free numbers for both Canada and US don't work!
All Eagle Creek had to do is design a bag and put inline skate wheels widely available anywhere and they'd last forever. Instead... they overpaid some id!ot to design this sh!t... and I got stuck with the bill!
Buy cheap Chinese luggage and let these North American companies die the death they deserve.
Lifetime warranty not really worth it
Not sure the lifetime warranty is really what it says and has much value. Wheel worn out after about 15 uses but quite slow to get replacements so I had to replace at my cost as I needed to travel again.
Really good service
My old bag got one of the wheels damaged during my last trip. I wrote to Eagle Creek, European support, and asked if they could give me some ideas on how to mend it. They asked for some photos in order to assess the damage which they got. I was told that i can't fix it myself, but if I just paid for the transportation and sent the bag to them, they would fix it. This was a week before Christmas. Today I got a parcel from them with my mended bag. That was really fast done considering all the holidays. They had also switched out the other wheel at the same time. I'm really impressed by the service!
No response from Support after numerous attempts
Our package has been stuck in a UPS facility for a week and UPS have told me I need to get in touch with Eagle Creek to get it moving. If only I could! I have emailed the Eagle Creek EU support email four times, called Eagle Creek EU twice (answering machine, no reply to my voicemail), and even messaged Eagle Creek's Instagram account. I haven't even received a confirmation anywhere that my queries have been seen, let alone answered. Shockingly poor support from this company - we won't be going near them ever again.

In reality you'll get offered a donation towards a new one which I think is not the impression you get about the warranty.
A new ORV is £450 with shipping, Eagle Creek offering a voucher for £250. Also not even in stock.

After using my wheeled duffle bag on a trip ,the wheels disintegrated. Spent the trip carrying my luggage. Returning home sent email and claim to Eagle creek. Thinking I would have no trouble after their much lauded warranty .I own three bags. Silly me. After several emails over three months no reply. Very disappointed . So if anyone is thinking of an Eagle Creek bag because of their Warranty think again. Absolutely disgraceful customer service, don't buy one.After posting message Eagle Creek contacted me. They had received no messages from me, they were going to the US. Eagle Creek Australia have sorted out the problem. Are posting out replacement parts. Me faith in the product has been restored.

Wheels and comination lock
I have used my 2 sets twice hand case and the next 2 sizes and have been very dissappoinred with them The first time I lost 1 wheel so paid to replace it from the baggage company . On that trip the lock combination didn't work on one of them so we had to you tube how to unlock . The 2nd time we used them we lost 1 wheel from the
medium and the next size suitcase . My friend also lost one of hers from her large suitcase . These 2 sets were bought as a retirement present and am extremely disappointed with them . I shouldn't have to buy new wheels each time I use them . The only case we havnt had an issue with is the hand luggage suitcases which wheels are a fixed wheel .

A few months ago I lost the plastic board of the pack-it garment folder, and eaglcreek managed to find me a replacement one that they shipped for free, almost 10 years I bought the item on Amazon.

Id like to start off by saying if your a frequent traveler there is a good chance the warrenty will not work for you due to the long time lines for repairs and still needing to have luggage. We bought eagle creek specifically for what we though was the quality and good warrenty, read the fine print on turnaround times and read recent reviews on reddit of peoples warrenty experience. This is my 2nd eagle creek bag to have wheels fail after relatively minimal use, wheel quality seems similar to any other 80$ luggage from Walmart. I travel around the world so am rarely in one spot. Eagle creeks had no solution for our 2 failed bags other then to send them from Portugal to Germany and wait 8 weeks. This didn't work for us because we wouldn't be in Portugal beyond that point. They said they could try and expedite our repairs in Germany to get them back to us before we leave again but we're unwilling to make any guarantees on that likly leaving us on the hook to purchase new luggage. Needless to say the warrenty is no more useful than anyone else's if you actually travel frequently and they will not work with you in a pinch. After multiple attempts at a solution they refused to make any promises or guarantees of getting our stuff back in time. So many other brands to choose from, don't be fooled by the warrenty gimmick. I've had cheap luggage last longer.

I was so surprised when I opened the package and realized that the wheels had been replaced, As I examined the bag I also noticed how carefully the tear in the back had been covered with the perfect tape.
