This company is great with the Enterprise D model. Every month on the button. But with Delorean. Oh dear terrible, I wish I had never started it first. You get stuck for months on end with no parts delivered or can be fitted. Raised prices but give you slower and less service.

the model of the Enterprise-D is…unnecessarily complex and imprecise
the model of the Enterprise-D is designed in an approximate way, the electrical system is exaggeratedly complex, it would have been enough to use led strips instead of single LEDs that often break due to the little space between the hull panels, moreover the The panels themselves are often imprecise in shape and let the light of the LEDs shine through in places where it should not filter. Return policy of parts to be replaced in 30 days absurd, it forces you to mount the racing model and not in your free time

I find it frustrating it takes too long between issues
I find it frustrating that you get a delivery once a month and that could take an hour to complete then have another month to weight before you can work again on a wonderful model

I only had good experiences with Eaglemoss. The response of the customer service team is very quick if there are any problems with your delivery or if you don't want to receive a special in your build up. I did reorder some parts which I got a little more heavy handed with,I reordered said parts was given that I would receive them with my next shipment which was today 19/004/2022

Superb build with great support
I subscribed to the partworks model of the Starship Enterprise D. This is a great model with a lot of intricate parts coupled with simple sections. One advantage is that it is a 'glueless' build which make the assembly that bit easier. Some parts, fitting the windows for example, can be a bit repetitive but that is made up for by the rest of the build. All of the components are well manufactured and in the main go together well. Sometimes there are fiddly bits but most are easily overcome. The magazine is very good with interesting and informative articles and with just one magazine for each monthly build is also a great boon rather than four. Contact by Eaglemoss is pretty good with e-mails sent each time a delivery is sent out. I am currently engaged in a number of partwork projects, being retired I do have the time, and this one ranks at the top end of these builds. A first class and enjoyable project.

i have four different build up kits
i have four different build up kits , reliable is not a word i would use, even after constant emails and phone calls my issues are rarely resolved, i wait months for magazines to turn up, i have had nothing in months despite spending nearly £200 on kits that just do not arrive, customer services are next to useless

The Delorean magazines tend to arrive ruined, but the kit is great. I've never had problems with the Enterprise ones though.
I get the Delorean and Enterprise kits which are very high quality, great to put together, and I enjoy reading the magazines.
The Enterprise kit and magazines arrive in a good size box for them and arrive with no problems.
Unfortunately, the Delorean magazines get sent unprotected in nothing more than a plastic bag to get creased, folded and ruined before I actually recieve them.
I've seen old second hand magazines in charity shops that are in much better condition than the ones you send me sometimes.
I've had to have multiple replacements before now because the condition of the magazines were so bad.
Apart from that, it's been fun building the models.
