Have had 2 kits and various battery packs, battery holders and throttle controls. Cheaply made but repairable with a soldering iron and a few tools.
Has anyone get any parts left that I could salvage and make good?

It is a shame as I found this company just great,and bought two convesions.Had them for around three years and no troubles using them for about 100 to 200 miles a month.Something must have happened to make Clive not respond to emails.The site is down and a statement on the site would be good for all to see.

it wasnt great experience ,i had to buy a new battery after a few months as the one with the kit was hit and miss ,i have put 5 stars so it will be published .the kit battery as now stopped working completely .the new one i cant fault it, tried to contact clive or clare but my number was vetted as i only got through once and i was promised a refud which never came

The seller was very helpful at first. The charger stopped working and they sent a new one without charging for the replacement. They also answered emails.

However, the issue with the initial charger didn't seem safe. It started to make a sizzling noise, as though something was or could burn inside.

Also, after some time after converting my bike (perhaps about a year, maybe a bit more or less) a problem developed. The motorized front wheel was pushing itself out of the front fork. It was dangerous, because there was the potential for the front wheel to come out completely while riding. My local bike shop said they thought the wheel was incompatible with the bike. If I remember correctly, the seller said that the conversion kit was suitable for all bike types. I tried to contact the seller to notify them of this safety issue. I did not receive a response.

I would recommend that you don't buy this kit due to safety concerns.

Arrived 4 months late, even with loads of chasing (so the guarantee should be extended .
Initially worked well, but now the Bluetooth connection has failed. Cant even connect to factory reset. Clive and Claire are nowhere to be found, so no support. Manufacturer emails return as not delivered with no option of a solution I am left wondering what to do. The idea is good and simple, but be careful where you purchase from.

Purchased the kit a year ago and today the battery has failed. No way to contact easifit ebikes Facebook has gone website down emails not getting through. Waste of 600 quid. I have since purchased an x go batter off eBay a 9 pin controller and cable off Amazon and got the bike working as a throttle only ebike total cost was 234 pound but at least it's working. I am putting a pedal sensor on for pedal assist as these are only 6 pound but I'm waiting for my new bike to arrive. So if anyone's having trouble with battery issues there is a work around it's just gonna cost

I have had the kit for a years done about 1500 miles in manual mode at 60% assist I only used it on dry days evenings so far soo good touch wood their is no cadence sensor so its really easy to fit.

Don't buy this kit. Currently cycling through Europe and it's totally failed. Had to buy another complete new set up. Tried to contact Clive and Clare and they have disappeared.
I had a one year guarantee on this kit !!!!!!

Edit: have now received a full refund from my bank as I purchased using my credit card.

Delivered on time, easi to fit, excellent customer service from Clive. Great fun

I took delivery of kit last September. Developed a nagging cut out problem. Support and engagement from company to resolve was excellent at first but problem returned, cutting out more and more often and no response from company. E mails and pms ignored, kit now ceased working and I have had to remove from my bike. Very very disappointed, upset and confused as to how someone who appeared so genuine and helpful can just disappear. I am now looking at a pile of expensive junk. Please take my advice and avoid.

No customer service batterry life on kits very poor I'm really disappointed bought two kits controller didn't work no response with customer service can't get a replacement I think they have scarpered don't go near them from Steve manchester

I'll be contacting the bank for a refund, Facebook page has disappeared and website is "under maintenance"
Alarming really, wonder how many they took payment from before their disappearing trick??

I’m sorry but I have to mirror the review last posted about this company. I have an Easi E-bike kit and I think it’s great, however getting support from the company is almost impossible. The website has been under construction for weeks With a useless bot taking any questions. These are never followed up so I can only think this company has failed. All I want is support which in the early days I did get. They really have let themselves down, poor poor poor customer service.

Avoid, Avoid, Avoid. Zero customer service. Before ordering the website said delivery in 8 weeks, I checked this and they confirmed order would be delivered early May. When not delivered I tried contacting them, I sent 4 or 5 emails, used the “Contact us” form on the website and rang (the calls all went to voicemail so I left messages to ring me). I finally got through on the phone and the person said he was not in the office, took my details, and said he would ring back and respond to my emails in one hour, he never got back to me, so raising Section 75 with the credit card company and they re-imbursed me the full amount.
I put this review on Easifitebikekit website but it never appeared, so they are vetting all reviews and not allow any that are not 5 stars. Last review on the website was in March 2023, so looks like they are not delivering any bike conversions to people.

Terrible product and Terrible customer service. Avoid at all costs. Product worked for short period of time and now customer service seems to have vanished. Please don't waste your money on this. I wish I hadn't ...

I’ve had my kit for 2 years or so now and thought it was time to write a review . I have cycled to Paris and recently returned from a 170 mile trip through Holland . On both trips,most of the other cyclists had fully powered e-bikes with large capacity batteries. As a regular cyclist, except for one day when we cycled 70k, I was able to keep up . On the day that my battery let me down, we were in the middle of a forest and the battery just died and without warning . My only criticism at the time was that the battery had no indicator so I could not pace myself . Holland was flatter and the cycle paths were excellent quality so I could run the bike with minimum battery power.
A great alternative to a full Ebike if you like your bike and cheaper of course. Great customer service too. Would highly recommend . Hopefully software update will address battery indicator

I've had my kit for a year now so I thought it was the best time to give a good review.

The customer service was great, very knowledgeable and answered all my questions, this is reflected in most reviews and is what attracted me to the company.

I got the bottle kit and it works, you won't get as much oomph as a fully integrated electric bike on hills but that's fine with me as I am now tackling some Welsh hills that I simply would never have been able to without the kit. I have a small frame MTB and getting the bottle into the frame is a little tight, it requires some careful manoeuvring to get it in and out of the holder, especially when trying to get the key in to unlock it but overall, the faff is absolutely worth it!

After 8 weeks, still waiting for the delivery. No updates at all from the company, but when I contacted them they did reply and told without giving any explanation, that my order has been delayed for further 8 weeks.

After 16 weeks I did receive the conversion kit. It was easy to install and came with clear instructions. It feels good quality.

Great company to deal with, I received regular updates, telling me when my order would arrive. Very clear instructions were provided which allowed me to fit the kit to my cycle without any issues whatsoever.
The kit has proved to be very reliable, and now my cycling has been totally transformed. Highly recommended for their excellent customer service.

When I first contacted this company they had no 20"motor wheels in stock and failed to contact me when they had. However sometime later I ordered a kit from them and it was extremely generous with many extras supplied. I had many unanswered questions about the kit and Clive the MD gave me excellent customer service patiently answering all my questions. So a good little company to deal with and the kit is well manufactured. I recommend this good quality Chinese Easi bike kit and the good customer care received to date from Clive!
