The concept was what I thought would work for my elderly mum who is partially sighted and frail and has trouble lining up the key in the lock.
Unfortunately, it didn’t help because as she touched it with her finger it started to spin and make it not line up with the lock. I didn’t think she would do this.
I have had to remove it , but I do think it’s a good idea for other people.

Bought this to help my 96 year old father. He is blind in one eye and particially sighted in the other. This has been great. He can know open the door from the inside, which he was having so much difficulty with before, and was becoming a worry for us as a family. He doesn’t go out anymore, but knowing he could get out if he needed too, is such a relief. So Thank you EasyGuide.

Unfortunately not suitable
Unfortunately not suitable for my 93 year old mother who is severe sight impaired. So sadly turned out to be a total waste of money for her. Problem you have to fix the device to try it so can we please return for a full refund. Kind regards John Heaton

Works well but expensive
The system has worked for my mother who has macular degeneration and also finds gripping small objects difficult. The easiguide is very expensive for what is an aid to the Visually Impaired. Was this to be in the main stream market I cannot belive it would cost £36 including p and p. This could make it unavailable to those on limited income. Be aware it will not fully attach 360 degrees around most double glazed locks as the back plate will not be fully flat but it appears to have attached at the two contact points sufficiently well. The key grip is very narrow and it was difficult to get the key into the holder and hard to tighten the retaining screw as the back plate spins as it is tightened. The pack did not come with all the spacers promised but thankfully I could manage with 2. Good system and I understand the need to get a return on design and development but one feels that its taking advantage of the fact there are no alternatives.

I thought delivery was on time the product was very good but no adhesive to fix spacer to door. We had to go find something to fit it. But my mum 92, happy with results It’s so much better for her than trying to find a needle in a haystack xxx

Missing adhesive. Wrong colour
I've received the Easyguide key hole locator but was sent a different colour to what I selected and the kit didn't come with the adhesive/adhesive tile to apply it. I have sent an email 1 week ago but have not had a reply as yet. I therefore cannot review the actual device as I haven't been able to fit it!! I'm hoping I may still get a response.

Key was damaged trying to put into blue key holder as it's very tight fit. Unfortunately this was not really suitable for someone with macular degeneration. My mum was not able to use. However the company have been very helpful.

It works.But not robust.
Very quick service from company - ordered at weekend and arrived Monday. Product itself is easy to use; a bit overpriced for what it is, but it seems to be the only type of product available and it does do the job. But. However, since fitting (easy) it has been knocked off twice by carers. The fitting that clips to the base is three very small lugs that are easily unclipped. Will need to superglue it on for it to be any use. So, be aware. Hence three stars.

I bought this for my 98 year old mum who has macular degeneration and was unable to lock her door from the outside as she couldn't see the lock. What an excellent product. So easy to install and my mum managed to lock her door without a problem. Highly recommended

Purchased key guide
The device although did not fit perfectly has helped enormously. We have one of the very new security doors and added to the inside, enables my mum to double lock the door adding that extra security. She could not get the key in the look or turn it before this device
Asked to review but not yet received!
AFTER SALES SERVICE
After receiving my delivery I did have a problem so I followed the instruction to contact 'Lockaid' but my email was undelivered due to the address failing. I then sent 2 emails to Easiglide as they had sold me the product, these were successfully sent on 4th April but I have never received a response. I did however eventually resolve the problem myself.
I was disappointed in the aftershaves service or lack of it.
Thank you for your response - trustpilot won't allow me to state email addresses here in the reviews. However, it was sent to the address on your confirmation email.
