Product details
Shop pressure treated picket pales for building custom picket fencing, repairing damaged boundaries and creating decorative garden features. Individual pales allow you to control the fence height, spacing and finished width rather than relying on complete pre-made panels. Picket pales can be fixed to suitable horizontal rails between timber posts to form front garden boundaries, paths and internal garden divisions. Choose a top profile and treated finish that complements the surrounding property and landscaping. Calculate the quantity according to the total run length, pale width and gap required between each board. Consistent spacing is important for creating a neat, balanced finished fence. Not top quality but they were quite cheap, so that’s to be expected. Quite rough sawn with bits of wood sticking out on the edges. Many of the pales were covered in white spots, as though they had been stored in the wet for some time and although I painted them twice with dark brown wood preservative, the marks still showed through.
