Very very bad experience with this…

Very very bad experience with this company. Had a huge order for the first time. They messed up all the sizes. Has to constantly email and call to get that fixed. Shipping says 8-14 days, I order before ramadan hoping to get in time and was disappointed. Shipping took a month and a half. Even after I received the shipment, I didn't receive 1 item I payed or, so now it's back to emailing and calling these people. Very expensive clothing and very cheap material. Will not be ordering again

Don't return items...no refund no item they keep it all...🙂

Whatever you do if you order from East essence just keep it even if it's too small or too big don't send it back you won't hear no correspondence you won't hear nothing from them they keep your money they keep your item they're terrible no communication... You may get your item I got my item but like I said if you don't like it donate it or give it to your friend don't send it back

Twice bitten. Never again.

I ordered from this company several years ago - the quality was poor, but I thought I'd give them another try.

I ordered 3 long tunic tops and a long jacket. All the same size. The tunic top fabric is heavy and although soft, has almost no stretch.
Top 1: Jersey Short Tunic (SKU: LK550)
A boxy fit - absolutely it is meant to be modest, but this has no room for curves. I cannot wear this.
Top 2: Black Jersey Tunic (SKU: LK561)
This is shown to be flowing, and sitting just above knee length. Again, boxy, doesn't even reach mid thigh. I definitely won't wear this.
Top 3: Most basic tunic (SKU: LK5874)
Definitely not basic. This has strange gathers on the sleeve. Very boxy. Sleeves are tight on the upper arm. This is horrible and I wouldn't wear it even if it did fit properly.
Crepe shrug: (SKU: SR313)
This item actually fits quite nicely. However where the sleeves attach at the shoulder is so puffy that it is puffed maybe 2 inches high! I am hoping I can unpick the sleeves and re-sew them without the puff as I do actually like this item.

There is no point in returning any of these items. The returns policy is ridiculous. Postage is free when you purchase over $100US. Which I did. If returns means the original price is less than $100US, they then charge you for the original postage and deduct it from your returns. By the time I pay to return the items, I will be out of pocket even more than what the items are worth.

I will never buy from East Essence again.

Don't EVER buy from them, they will steal your money

As a mother who buys my children things all the time, I haven't bought myself abayas in a long time and wanted to treat myself...
MAJOR MISTAKE going to eastessence...eastscamming is what they should be...
I ordered 5 abayas & a couple of other things...3 of the abayas were not good quality and 1 was 2 inches too long...in spite if this and of me sending pictures to verify, staff at eastessence continued to gaslight me and gave me grief about a return...
When they finally accepted the return, they claimed the team said there were no issues and that they wouldn't refund my shipping (in spite of offering a label after i already shipped) plus extra shipping since my order now was under $100...and they left out a third item...oh, and they offered me $10-15 store credit in lieu of my shipping costs, but there was no need as I'm never buying from them again...
I'm fighting them and I'm soooo frustrated...
AVOID AT ALL COSTS... there are many quality abaya shops online now, heck even ebay has better service...
I pray this business fails, they are gutter...they should not treat Muslims and customers this way...

The worst company I ever used

The worst company I ever used. I ordered on July 09 and I called August 1 to check, they told me it will ship in two days, then I called August 5 they said it will the next day. Then I called a week later in August 11. They said it will ship next week Tuesday or Thursday.
So I cancelled my paypal transaction.

I would have given less stars if I could. Where shall I start. 8-12 business days is a huge lie. Try never. They keep saying yes yes we'll send it and they never do. You tell them then refund me and they don't. When I told them I'll file fraud claim with my credit card company they sent me a tracking number. When I called DHL it is going to a different name and address, imagine the fraud. Do not order from them. They are scam and fraud. They charge premium prices and make customers think it's coming from Michigan. Meanwhile everything comes from overseas and they don't even answer the phone. If I wanted to order from overseas I would order from Alibaba at least I would pay 10 instead of 100 and actually receive my product.

The dispute is still ongoing and not resolved.

My husband (The Smart one??) placed an order for a cologne that he thought was an incredible deal. If it was free, it still would've been too much, for the aggravation and time it has cost just to receive the merchandise or to speak to a customer service agent. I see since he placed the order the name of the company has changed. It's been 6 weeks no product, tracking number, not even a peek a boo from this company. It a shame you have to google a company(reviews) before placing a order. Would like to support small businesses but with scam companies like this one. I'm going to stick with well known retail companies ex. Macy's Nordstrom Saks

Genuinely the worst customer service I…

Genuinely the worst customer service I have ever received. I wish I could say it was hyperbole, because I really want to be able to support a Muslim business with plus-size options, and I am not a person who writes reviews like this. But unless they change dramatically: do not trust this business.
I had been waiting two weeks trying to clear my order, being handed off to different employees, and in that time I was assured that my order was approved and on its way TWICE. Then, 17 days after I placed it my order it was cancelled, suddenly and without notice. So here I am, two and a half weeks wasted with nothing to show for it but stress and some terrible customer service.

NEVER ORDER FROM HERE

This company is a fraud. I was promised the abaya i ordered would come before eid 2020. I ordered this on April 30th, it has been 34 days and i still didnt recieve anything. On their website they say it should take 8-10 days to arrive, which is a LIE. I emailed the company asking for a refund a woman named Uzma Mubarak emailed me back and said they couldnt give me a refund. Worst experience ever. This company just steals your money. Total fraud.

Terrible experience so far

So I made an order a few days ago for express delivery which is 5-7 working days. I haven't received an email saying it's been dispatched or replies to emails I sent asking them about it. So customer service seems pretty awful. Wish I had taken notice of the other bad reviews here.

Update: so it's the 6th of June and I finally received a tracking number and an email saying the order is on its way. But when I try and track the order the website you are meant to use is unrelated to the so called tracking service. This company appears to be a fraud.

Update: it's the 8th June and I received my order via DHL. I was surprised it actually arrived on time to discover all three items are NOT the ones I ordered. Furious, I emailed them straight away. Someone else said they didn't give them their money back, so I'm not expecting a good outcome. Avoid avoid avoid !

Update: It's the 10th of June and to my surprise I received a response saying they will dispatch the correct items asap by express delivery and that I could donate the ones I received. Really hoping this is a genuine response and they are not being deceiving.

Unprofessional and disgusting

Won't be ordering from here again, my friends and family had similar issues with eastessence...

No proper communication, paid around £75 for my order, I didnt get my order so emailed them, someone called Uzma got back to me saying because of extended lockdown in India theres going to be a bit of delay, I understood was fine with it and decided to wait a little longer and guess what no delivery again, no email nothing regarding my order, so emailed same person and she said the same thing and tried giving me 20% discount... not happy with that at all... my point here is dont give me a date you can't fulfill, I waited for almost 2 months for my order and was really looking forward to it since I needed the clothes otherwise I could have got it from elsewhere with that money i paid for, if I don't get my refund I'll definitely take this matter further i got all the email proof and evidence from eastessence Uzma... atm im still waiting for a reply dont know if I would even get one.

Disappointed

I’m positive that this will be the last time I order from East Essence, with respect. The processing and shipping is just not clear to me and I am still waiting on my order. I chose EE because of their work contributing to education projects in the community. Of course I would do business with this company over many others. After waiting 10 days with no notice on completion of order processing or shipping I am just waiting on an order that I don’t know is even coming. There has been no communication at all. I do understand that high order volumes can slow things down. As a business man, if you cannot tend to your customers to ensure they have a good experience you may want to reduce the amount of markets you’re serving. At this point I’m going to assume that I won’t ever get these items and if I do I’m sure they will be subpar. Thank you for your presence East Essence but I believe more training is customer service is warranted here. I won’t be ordering again.

A Satisfied Customer! 👍😉😊

I ordered from E.E., received confirmation and tracking shipment emails, received merchandise in a timely manner and was so very satisfied with the packaging and delivery methods. The actual items were/are excellent. Pricing is exceptional also. I made another order for a few items, somehow ordered the wrong size. I noticed the mistake same day. I sent an email detailing my need to change the size. Received a prompt and professional reply from Ramzi (pls excuse me if I misspelled). He was so helpful, professional and accommodating! He sent a follow up email to ensure I was "good" and so I await my order via delivery. I look forward to continuing to purchase items from this company and pray for the company's success!
