I was worried about shifting, but these guys made it completely stress-free. Friendly staff and excellent service.
There was nothing easy about this experience. I had a lot of trust in the Admin lady who answers the phone. I asked her if the movers would disassemble and re-assemble 2 beds, and take the TV off the wall and re-install it at the new place. She said yes, no problem, it's all included in the hourly charge.
Day 1: Admin lady texted me to let me know that someone called in sick and they were unable to find a guy, so we had to reschedule to the next day. Ok fine.
Day 2: 2 guys show up. Not friendly at all, in any way, but they work hard. I appreciate that. They weren't able to fit everything in the truck, there were a few things left behind, they said we would go back for them afterwards. The new place is only 8km up the road. We did NOT go back for that stuff. As soon as the truck was empty, they took off. I asked them if we were heading back to get the stuff that got left behind and they said to call the office. They were gone before I even had my phone out of my pocket to call the office.
The Admin lady sounded annoyed, she said she would call me back with a timing confirmation for Day 3. She did not. I called her back just after 5pm and she said she would send another truck at 9am the following morning to finish the job. I would be charged hourly, 3 hour min, no truck fee.
Day 3: The same two guys show up. Not friendly at all, but work hard. My dad asked the head guy if he would put the beds back together and hang the TV on the wall, and he just said "No, we don't do that", so that's confusing, because that's not what the Admin lady said, and they took apart the beds and tried to take the TV down even though they didn't have the right tools.
Anyways, the move took 3 DAYS. 2 bedroom apartment, the cost was a lot more because I had to pay a 3 hour minimum for a one hour job on Day 3. The mover guys worked hard, and I truly appreciate that. There were stairs, there was snow, ice and awful winter weather. It was 3 days after Christmas, I was recovering from the flu.
I feel like some of these issue could have been better handled by the company. Maybe they could have asked more detailed questions about the layout of the move out / move in property in order to staff better, maybe 3 guys would have made a big difference. Maybe a bigger truck would have been helpful, maybe better communication with the office and the guys....or better communication with the guys and me. They were really not friendly at all, kind of scary to be honest, but again....they worked hard, in shitty conditions.
Overall, I feel like most, if not all of these issues could have been handled better, it didn't have to take 3 days for a 2 bedroom apartment going 8km up the street. Do not recommend. Go with another company, I know I will.
PS. The Admin lady wasn't rude and I could tell she was over it with this job just as much as I was, and just as much as the movers.
EDIT: They also stole stuff. I had a jar of maybe 20 pre-rolls, after the move I found the jar in a drawer with 2 in it.
Easy moving Toronto made my move simple and stress free, their professionalism and hard work made my move easy. Definitely recommend.

Never Ever even Consider them !!
Absolutely unpaid and genuine reviews you will get about them...Took their service for long haul transit from BC to Toronto. Absolutely unprofessional and ethically impaired company. The manager Yuri is an arrogant and rude. Delayed our material for over a week . Exchange of over 50 emails to get our stuff with over 20 phonecalls all falling to deaf ears. They have zero ethics for any commitment given by themselves. Once you fall in their trap or a contract they will abuse it and not keep any ethic to the merit of the contract. A Big fat ZERO FOR THEIR SERVICES !!!!! NEVER TAKE IT !!

Extremely unprofessional, they are day light burglars in the guise of a moving company. They will hassle you for more moving charges at the time of delivery. The support staff will steal all your valuables. They stole our gold and diamond jewellery while they were moving. The owner YURI cut our fall when we complained. They plan and hassle you at the time of delivery and distract you while their staff steal all your valuables BEWARE!!!

1777 DOLLARS IS A COMPLETELY UNREASONABLE PRICE FOR A MOVE THAT IS LITERALLY A 5 MINUTE DRIVE!! terrible experience, took advantage of 2 college girls and charged them double the quote. For a professional moving company they were unaware of the pride parade on our street postponing the move and charged us for the second day despite this being out of our control and an unforseen circumstance. Charged prices over the hours worked and when we asked them for evidence of these prices yuri did not reply. if you are a college student or looking for cheap movers DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY!!!!!

They are not honest.
They charge me $1300.00 more than contract.
They damaged my items and two items lost
Company was not responsible

The movers were great but the owner is very unprofessional and WILL charge more. My initial quote was $1100 but ended up paying $1500 MORE because of a few extra items. I even emailed asking how much they would charge because I didn’t want to go over and they STILL screwed me. You can book but beware of these things before you sign the contract:
1. They will charge you more if you have additional items then what you previously quoted. Totally understandable but I asked them specifically how do you calculate additional items, is it by volume or by item? He said by total volume and they charge $15 per additional cubic ft. I measured the total volume so I knew exactly how much extra I went. Maybe 10-20 cubic feet more. He then gives me the invoice and he charged an extra $1500!! He charged per extra item and refused to deliver unless I paid in full! They also determine the pricing so he can charge whatever he wants if you go over. I have emails of him saying it’s per total volume but he ignored it. So list everything in the initial quote! They will over charge you by a lot and their contract covers them but rips you off.
2. They give no warning to when they will arrive to pick up your stuff. I tried calling to ask for notice, she said yes we’ll give a few hours notice. They called and said we’re outside..When they arrived to my new home they say in the contract be ready to accept your items within 12 hour notice. I emailed multiple times for an estimated date of arrival with no answer. They eventually called on a Saturday and said they will be arriving in the evening, they came at midnight…with only 1 older man to unload everything, I had to help.
3. Payment was a mess, after arguing about the overcharge he says I won’t get my things until I pay in full. They ask to Etransfer first then give the password to the driver on arrival. It was AUTODEPOSIT, no password required which I thought was sketchy because they ask to send money before the driver gets there. So you just have trust that they will bring your things, you have no security of a credit card.
Overall a horrible experience even though I didn’t have much to move.

If I could give no stars, I will. I picked this company because of the reviews online. Please do not use this company. I communicated with 3 people during this time Yuri (the manager), Mike (not sure his role) and a lady secretary. For context, I am a Healthcare provider
My elderly mum was to travel/move from Ottawa to Saskatchewan on January 1, 2024. I started my communication with easy moving company in October. I was asked to itemize my goods, which i did to the best of my ability and sent these to the company. I received an estimate 1900 and contract from the company and was asked to pay $600 to reserve a spot, which I did. Prior to this, I kept getting emails to finalize payment. see below
"We tried to reach you again and left a message. Just a reminder that your booking is not confirmed until we have a signed contract and deposit. If you are no longer interested in our services please let us know so we don't keep attempting to reach you. Looking forward to hearing from you"
Soon after payment of the $600, I sent an email asking for a date so I could plan towards it. see below
"Please see attached contract. Can I have a calendar of potential dates given the likelihood of 10-14 business days delivery time frame. Deposit has also been sent"
I was told to send them potential dates and they would do their best to accommodate me. So I asked for a date in January. They didn't have dates for January yet so they offered me any day between beginning to mid December. Asking me to contact them closer to this time. I was okay with the mid Dec date given the 2 weeks travel time i was informed of during my interaction with them.
Fast forward to December 5, 2023, I reached out to easy moving company for a date. I get a response on that same day for me to confirm pick up for December 7, 2023. Clearly this was impossible, I then asked for a date in 3rd week of December which they obliged. Many emails later to the company and I am given Dec 23, 2023. I clear my schedule in preparation.
On Dec 22 while at work, I get an email and a call from easy moving company that they will pick up on this day between 4:00 to 6:00 pm. Not the originally planned Dec 23. I was livid! I was working the day shift and usually I don't leave the hospital before 6pm. After much back and forth, i asked the manager if I could get my deposit back should I not get home before 6pm. He immediately told me he would ask the drivers to wait for me. Anyways, I managed to run out of the hospital in time to get home for 6pm.
For context, i live with my mum in a 2 bedroom condo. She was not at home on day of pick-up. The movers pick up my mum's things- It was a one bedroom (queen sized bed set, 4 bags/travelling boxes, 3 large boxes and 2 medium, a freezer and an ironing board- this was not accounted for in my prev invoice).
On January 3, 2024, I get an updated invoice for additional $985 on top of the original 1900. In the invoice, there was a random sofa (not mine-quoted 250), the large uhaul boxes were quoted as xlarge 340, the box spring (quoted 150 and dresser mirrow 50-didn't know this was separate the ironing board and some other miscalculations totalling $985. That same day January 3, 2024, I reached out to them asking for a review as all these additions were false.
Two days laster without addressing the issue, I got an email saying that my items were gonna be delivered on January 5, 2024. I called the office to modify the invoice but was told that I needed to pay up and then the review would happen later. See below
"Thank you for your reply. The truck is 20 minutes away from the delivery location. All invoice issues could be resolved upon delivery (please see contract chapters 4.3/4.4/4.5). Please send the full amount according to the invoice/remaining amount by advance and provide password to the driver upon arrival (please see chapters 2.15/4.13). Waiting time will be counted $159.00/h (please see chapter 2.9).
In case you won't react to this letter we will put your stuff to a public storage. Storage/local delivery fees will be on your side like the full invoice payment"
To say the least, my mum in Saskatchewan was quite distraught.
Today is one week since drop off. I have emailed, called etc no response. i finally get Yuri on the phone today and explain the issue. He said I should have called him on day of delivery and rectified the invoice with the driver, But since this was not done, he would offer me $100 vs the 985 extra I was charged. I asked him how come a sofa was attached to my list of things and boxes mis itemized and who gave the office that information, he told me it was from the storage house.
On a side note, I got a call from Mike few days ago asking me to check my things as a green travel luggage which belonged to one of their customers from Calgary is missing. Hmmmm
I type all this to say, its not worth trusting this company with your move.

Also known as Trans Moving.
I have undergone multiple cross-continent 40-foot container household moves and never had any problems. This is the worst experience I've had!
I need to move my furniture into storage for 1 week for floor renovation. At the same time, I'm shipping my baby grand piano to my son in Saskatoon.
I stressed many times that I have a LOT of stuff, collectibles and breakables and requested that the packers pack them for me. I'm prepared for pay for the time and service and reserved for a 2-day move. I planned to have the breakables lightly packed and left in the kitchen where there's no renovation - to save time and material. No one ever came to check out the things.
DAY 1, the movers came with NO packing material, no boxes or even paper! They said no one told them! So they just moved some furniture.
They demanded e-transfer of payment of the day's service that night.
DAY 2, they came with huge Rubbermaid boxes and I questioned if they were ok to leave these boxes in my house for a week. After unsuccessful communication with these non-English speakers, I gave up and let them do whatever. Their truck was too small and cannot fit all my furniture. So they left most of those in the kitchen and took the boxes away. Another demand of immediate payment that night.
DELIVERY DAY - they demanded immediate e-transfer of payment early in the morning and virtually threatened that they will not unload unless money received! Even though they have my piano in their hands. I had some problem with my phone and the computer was "packed". But they will not take cash or cheque! If my daughter-in-law was not there to help, I can't imagine what they'd do.
No more Rubbermaid boxes were found! They delivered many large-size cardboard boxes (which they charged), not of the highest quality and some seemed used. Obviously they repacked the stuff from the Rubbermaid boxes. On opening the boxes, I found that they've just dumped contents of several desk drawers into one, and glass picture frames were not protected at all! Some things were not found to-date! Some cabinets were just moved with all contents inside. Of course they were badly shuffled around. My white fabric headboard now has black finger prints. The 2 bed bases (with drawers) that made up a king size bed were put together without removing the plastic wrap that went around them top to bottom. I have no way to lift the bases to get the plastic from underneath so now I have pieces of plastic sticking out from under the bed.
I would have written this review 6 month's ago if the piano was not in their storage!
DELIVERY OF PIANO - only 1 day advanced notice was given for the delivery. Their man drove the truck from Toronto to Saskatoon and apparently they have already left before letting me know, despite my request of an expected delivery date. On arrival, they again insisted on immediate e-transfer of payment before they would deliver. I totally understand that only 3 steps were included in the move and additional steps cost extra. But the movers would not negotiate, insisting that we haven't paid for the extra steps and left the piano just inside the house without the assembling service promised. No answer to our e-mail complaints.
The company has different names, one of them is Easy Moving. This Yuri is VERY RUDE and would not talk on the phone but insisted that everything has to be emailed. Even when I delivered some stuff to their warehouse, I had to email him to open the door!

I sent an email for a quote on shipping a planter… full detailed photo with dimensions. Upon pick up the owner calls and says $100 more because it’s heavy… ITS A LARGE PLANTER!!! Of course it’s heavy. The delivery guys were nice enough… but I was forced to pay the extra before they unloaded (very easily I might add) it at my location.
Never again!!

I needed an international mover to move my stuff from New York to Toronto and got quotes from several places. Easy Moving was by far the cheapest one and seemed to know what they were doing as regards to customs as they were as international company.
I was hesitant about using them as there were so many negative 1 star reviews and then a bunch of 5 star reviews which isn’t very normal. However, I decided to take a leap of faith and go through with it. My experience ended up being around a 3.7/5.
First of all, the communication was by far the most challenging aspect of the whole experience. Yuri isn’t the strongest communicator in English. My questions were never fully answered, a lot of mistakes were made in the contract, they would forget a lot of details previously discussed. However, I was able to get past this by just being very persistent with following up and was very specific with the amount of items needing to be moved. Although there were a lot of stressful moments leading up to the moving date, the movers ended up coming on time, was efficient in wrapping and loading the items, and delivered the items on time with no damages.
My major complaint at the end was the fact that the movers made us sign blank invoices on the day of the move and added charges to it afterwards. The only packing that was needed was for a coffee & couch. Which we were charged over $800 for. As 9 “moving blanket” was $30 each & they quoted us 3 hours of labour at $150 🥲 which of course, needed to be paid before unloading which we expected. Yuri did end up giving us a discount after we brought up that it didn’t take them 3 hours to pack 2 items. So we paid ~$600 extra total. I would advise everyone to wrap all your furniture yourself or get your own moving supplies as their packing services are very expensive.
Overall, Yuri got our items from point A to point B in a timely manner with no damages at a significant discount to other companies. I think the issues with communication was well worth the savings & I would recommend them to anyone who doesn’t have a time sensitive move ☺️

Big scammers do not use! They refused to give me what I had shipped unless I paid $1500 more and did the same to someone I recommended them to!

If I could rate them with a negative, I would. They are highly unprofessional, greedy and rude.
Firstly, they tell you about a 'flat rate' and send you an invoice with way higher charges only after they've picked your items.
They promised 7-10 days as delivery period but left us hanging for over a month without explanation or any good customer service. They kept pushing the dates and when you call for update, they have nothing. The so called manager, Yuri even hangs up the call. The front desk never has any clue about anything.
They insisted on payment before unloading.
At delivery, only one person came, the driver and he didn't want to bring the items in. He expected us to be the one unloading ourselves after all the stress they put us through (without a single apology) and after paying. He later dropped some items on the roadside. Until I said I was going to call the police, he didn’t pick them up.
Items came wet, torn and damaged.
I wish I could express my displeasure more than this.
Please don't ever try to use their services. Save yourself the stress. The few good reviews they got were probably paid for. I filed a report against them with consumer protection and I was made to understand that there have many complaints about them.
I really hope their company gets locked down soon as they shouldn't continue operating this way.

100% DO NOT recommend Trans Moving. If you want a nightmare move, a company that has ZERO care for your belongings? Then book with this company. My items were picked up March 22nd for a move from Toronto to Edmonton. I inquired when my items would be delivered and l was told by (Daria) that it took about 2 weeks to deliver. Once l booked l inquired about the delivery window again and the GM (Yuri) advised delivery would be 1st week of April for my items. It all went downhill from there. The 1st week of April came and went and my items where not delivered and zero communication from the company about delays or anything. I sent a follow up and was advised the items would now be delivered the week of the 10th of April and Yuri noted in his email I would be contacted and notified a day before delivery. Now we're on April 18th and l still haven't heard anything. I sent over an email in the early morning of the 18th and Yuri responds telling me delivery would be done that day (18th) in the afternoon and I would be called with the exact time. Keep in mind this is less than the day notice he had advised l would get. Even 12 hours notice would have worked, but we went with it. So we prepared for the "afternoon" delivery Yuri had noted in his email. We patiently waited and next thing it's 6pm EST and still no word on the supposed afternoon delivery. At this point we had been waiting and when l called and spoke to Yuri voicing my valid frustrations not only was l told he didn't email me saying the delivery would be done in the afternoon, but now delivery could happen even the next day. Notice how my delivery times kept on changing everytime l inquired...if l had not made any inquires l would have had zero communication from Yuri. Now to make matters worse...l receive a call from Yuri's driver at 9pm EST (7pm in Edmonton) and he's talking about he's now driving from Calgary to Edmonton and will be making a delivery maybe in 3 hours...so after 10pm in Edmonton. The lack of professionalism and communication really sealed it in, a delivery after 10pm at night...with 3 hours notice...insane. we opted not to wait for a late night delivery considering the ever changing delivery times...we weren't about to wait till late in the night for a delivery that likely would not have made it anyway. The next morning when delivery was to be made the driver showed up on his own (no helper) when l booked this service l had inquired and advised that delivery was to a house and all items would need to go to a basement and l was assured with was fine. A team would be doing the pick up and drop off. Not only was it just the driver who showed up, he was not prepared. My family watched the driver offload other clients items (to get to mine) from the truck and dumped them onto the snowy muddy ground. You would think the company would have runners, Tarps etc to properly protect and care for their clients belongings...no, that was not the case at all. My couch was received scrapped up and my 6 drawer chest was not only scrapped up it was broken by the driver. Again this was one person who was assigned to offload heavy pieces of furniture. No compensation what so ever and my family was also stuck moving items due to the lack of personnel that arrived to offload my items. What was the point of paying for movers and their manual labour if they don't do what they are paid for... This company is very much ripping people off and providing false information to its customers just to get them to book with them. They will mishandle and break your items and not compensate you, and expect you to do manual labour. Not only was my stuff mishandled but my family watched as they mishandled other clients items that were in the delivery truck. Voice any concerns and you will be met with rude responses for their lack of regard of your belongings, lack of communication and professionalism. Do not waste your money booking, save yourself the stress and nightmare. I now have to replace my chest that was damaged by the driver with no compensation. Find a different company!!!

If I could give negative stars I would. I hired them for a long-distance move and they were terrible.
- They were 2 weeks late and kept telling me that they were on the way. The driver who showed up told me he had left Toronto 3 days earlier after a last-minute call.
- They added charges to the invoice and wouldn't begin unloading even though it was wrong
- They tried to charge the wrong sales tax
- They stopped moving 1/2 through and demanded I write a note to not complain about them.
- They said they have insurance for damaged goods and they have damaged several items. They won't call or email me back.
- They operate under several names: MVL Movers, Trans Moving Toronto, Easy Moving, Yura Rans Moving.
Awful Awful Awful
