Slightly mixed experience but the installation quality and finish is 5 star

Mixed experience. Firstly the initial sell with Will was fine. Nice helpful chap. Process was fine. Then we paid a deposit which was quite a lot for 2 bathrooms. The time from paying to getting an installation date confirmed felt long and we had to chase it up which was disappointing. We were told the team that was doing the installation was no longer available so they’ve got someone else, “but they’re very good”. That didn’t really fill me with confidence. Then we had to go through the detailed order list to make sure it was accurate, if anything is missing wrong it could be our fault etc etc. The whole balance has to be paid in advance of the installation which I wasn’t comfortable with at all. I felt we were chased too much for the money. We were on holiday abroad and had problems accessing our money because of it so it took us some time to get it sorted, I felt a bit badgered by all the calls for the money.

Then came the actual installation - AK & Team were outstanding! Arrived 7.45am daily, worked until 6-8pm each night, little break in between, 2-4 people working each day. Clean, polite, tidy, hard working guys, worked brilliantly as a team. Stripped out 2 leaky damp bathrooms, channelled out, plumbing, electrics, the lot all done in 6 days. They were amazing and couldn’t fault a thing. Would highly recommend them. The quality and finish of both bathrooms is exceptional.

Collection of the waste within 7 days - this was interesting. 3 huge full Hippo bags. Easy bathrooms/Hippo sent a lady in a transit van to collect them. She empties them by hand, even in 38 degrees! My husband help the poor girl do ours. She only took 1 bag as the van was full so the other 2 bags are still here. This bit of the systems doesn’t work at all, I was expecting a lorry with a grabber that picked the bags up and took them away. It isn’t that.
