It's very useful

It's very useful. however, sometimes there are connection problems which may put us at fault and have a ticket.
fortunately, these problems are not very common.

Do Not Trust this App!

We received a 750 DKK fine just because we trusted the application, the app stopped with no reason!
The app's support system did not accept our complain. They'd just mentioned that we have to check the application every now and then during our stop!

We are so sad the hear that you received a fine! Our app is only made to make parking easyer for parkants all around 13 countries. That's why it's really sad when a costumer gets a fine using our app.

It's the costumers responsibility to make sure to have correct parking the whole time you are parked. I can't acces the case you had with us. But if you would like us to look at it again please answer the last mail you received from us.

I parked 6 hours

I parked 6 hours, from 16h to 22h, at Fisketorvet and paid 274dkk. 2 hours should be for free and low cost the rest.
I can attach the receit but I dont have that option here.

Paid for parking and still got a fine. No help from customer service!

Super bad app that have issues with finding the right location area code, even though it found the precise place where I parked. I ended up getting a fine for 795 kr. Definitely not using it any more, the whole idea behind the app (making life easier when parking) kind of goes to hell when you end up getting a fine while paying for parking. There was no help from customer service saying they don't take responsibility that their app can't find the right location even though on the map of the app it was the precise location where my car was. Don't use this app unless you want fines while paying for parking.

Thank you for your rewiew.

We certainly do not try and disclaim any responsibility. If there had been a mistake from our side, then we had covered the fine- for example if the mapping had not been correct. However, this is not the case in your case. I can easily understand that, based on your experience, you do not believe that the mapp in appfunction works optimally, but it helps 100,000 show parklands every day in 13 different countries.

When using the mapp in app function, the app uses the phone's GPS. Since EasyPark cannot control or clarify the GPS in each phone, this function will always be indicative only. It is therefore always your own responsibility that the area code matches the signage on the parking lot, which is also stated in our terms section. 4.2.3. See below:

'' ... If Customer uses the App Location feature, Customer must ensure that the proposed area code corresponds to the area code of that Parking Space indicated on or near the parking lot's ATMs. The customer is responsible for specifying the correct area code. EasyPark accepts no responsibility for incorrectly specified area codes.

The GPS function on the app gets the location that you find yourself based on the signal that your mobile can give the app. This is something that EasyPark cannot change. It is therefore important to ensure that the parking is correct before approving it and starting it. This can be done by orienting themselves via signage in the area that you keep parked on.

Very bad experience with EasyPark

Parked in central Århus Denmark, paid with Easypark, get parking ticket to the amount of 650 kr. Apparently the gps function in the app is not accurate and therefore I have used the wrong area code!
No help from EasyPark. As other users have experienced their only answer is that it is the users responsibility to use the right code. I can only recommend NOT to use this app, it is useless.

I'm sorry to read that you have recieved a fine.

When you become an EasyPark customer, it is accepted by establishing that the individual has read and understood our terms. Here it appears that ultimately, the parking lot's responsibility is ultimately to ensure proper parking. If there is a definite error in the mapping, EasyPark takes the blame, but in this case the card at the mentioned parking has been correctly mapped.

The map in app function get's it's signal from your phone. The map in app function is out of EasyPark's control. This is why it's so important to make sure that the sigange is the same has the info in the app.

I usually don't to reviews but there…

I usually don't to reviews but there was extra effort from Easypark DK to settle my case and I decided that it has to be rewarded.
I did park for 8 hours in the area where is the price cap (like 7 or 10 hours do cost the same) and was late for 10 min so my booking via Easypark had expired.
I got a 650 DKK ticket in these 10 min and technically they we right - I did not have any parking booked during these 10 min.
Big thanks to Nico who is EasyPark Danmark employee to fix it up and going extra mile in customer services.
