Customer experience is very important…
Customer experience is very important to me when visiting thrift stores as it really shapes my overall impression. My first visit was to the Mont-Royal location. Unfortunately, the welcome I received did not meet my expectations. I felt somewhat like I was interrupting the girl working there... which made the experience less enjoyable. I then visited the Lachine location, where the experience was completely different. The staff member there was very kind and welcoming and the store itself is spacious and well organized. I truly enjoyed my visit. Finally, I went to the Rachel location. Unfortunately, the experience there was again disappointing in terms of customer service. The welcome did not feel warm or friendly, which impacted my overall impression. Consistency in customer service across locations would greatly enhance the overall experience, as a welcoming atmosphere makes all the difference. One thing I found confusing is that on social media, the staff ladies appear very warm, welcoming, and enthusiastic in their videos. However, my in-store experiences felt quite different. In person, the interactions did not reflect the same level of friendliness or hospitality shown online.
