Waste of time and money
I took the bird biology course (£120) and it was a total waste of time and money. The course was incredibly poorly written, riddled with spelling errors, impenetrable, unclear grammar, out of date information and long-debunked 'facts'. It conveyed minimal information and what claimed to be a 14 hour course was actually 6 modules which were about a 20 minute read each. You'd be better off searching 'birds' on wikipedia than spending money on this course. Even the quiz is badly designed.
Directly prior to this I a took a free open university course on migration which was immeasurably better in terms of the quality of writing, the amount of information conveyed and had interactive activities and quizzes throughout. I definitely feel like I was scammed here and I won't be doing it again.
