Horrible experience

THIS IS A SCAM. My bill fluctuated between 150-250 for the 3 years I have been living at my place and then I got a bill for over $1000 during Jan/Feb 2026 billing cycle. I called customer service and they said the rates are "variable" and unfortunately the market rates went up. This is a SCAM. Do not sign up for this company. They will steal your money.

Total fraud

Total fraud. First bill in January was as promised. The next bill for the same amount of kw was double what I normally pay. $376 to $760. They added a total of $314 and listed them as added charges!

Beware!

Stay far, FAR away from this company! They increased my rate astronomically without any prior notice/heads up. My bill for January was 259 which is normal during the winter. My bill for February was 717. THAT IS ABSOLUTELY INSANE. I dropped them instantly. This bill is equivalent to the entire season of Spring in electric bills. Stay away from these people!

Horrible experience

Horrible experience. The inept people there sent me a welcome email no but no one ever told me my signup was invalid due to a wrong id number. They said they called but there was no record of a call or a voicemail. What kind of company leaves me with no provider?? So I didn't renew with my previous provider and was charged monthly at crazy prices since I was no longer an annual customer. EcoPlus took no responsibility, refused to assist me in recouping the $500 I lost - even when I volunteered to spread it over a year and sign up with them anyway. Thank heavens my old company Shipley took me back immediately and reinstated my old plan for that time onward. Dumb part is that EcoPlus lost the customer, but didn't seem to care. Totally inept company.

MY DUKE BILL WAS LIKE 100 TIMES MORE…

MY DUKE BILL WAS LIKE 100 TIMES MORE BUT I FOUND THIS SUPPLIER AND I MUST SAY THEIR DUKE GAS RATE IS NOT TOO BAD. ITS FIXED FOR 24 MONTHS AND STAYS LOW I LOVE IT. IMPRESSED WITH THE AGENTS THERE VERY PROFESSIONAL. IM NOT SPEAKING FOR EVERYBODY BUT KEVIN JOHNSON WAS THE BEST. GIVE THAT GUY A RAISE.

I never was aware of even signing up

I never was aware of even signing up. I wouldn't have. A much smaller bill, and I get a grant also during winter, they are eating up. My bill jumped over 100%. I am going to complain to every agency, including Commonwealth Edison, as to how they hijacked my normal bill. This company is trying also to interrupt government subsidies to others, as some sort of service. It appears they are scamming with participants who benefit in ways.

I thought it was going well

I thought it was going well. been with them for a while, but I guess I should've looked closer. I finally realized there are rando charges that vary month to month. When I tried to contact customer service online, the bot was useless. and i called first thing Monday am when they opened. 9:05 am and I was on hold for nearly an hour as caller 1 when I hung up. I called back, was caller 4, the wait time went up, and now I have been caller 1 for the last 57.54 minutes. I don't think I'm going to get an answer any time soon. I am going to see about what can be done. Dang. What a joke. UPDATE. I never did get through to them, but they got through to me when they saw that I canceled my account. Asked about the charges, it was something to do with the intro program not intro rates, but after that expired then these charges were added. blah blah whatever. So I said forget it. Not worth the hassle. We should be able to switch like PA power switch says and not get penalized especially when you call every month to check on it.

Scan highway robbery I did sign with them yet PSE&G is billing me I reach out to them no reply why is PSE&G fighting for them I knees help and answers$600.extra on my bill Help Help that company lies and steal Shame on PSE&G for supporting them what’s in it for you

Lies about the price upfront

Lies about the price upfront, doesn't have ANY mention of the additional $36-$48 per month put on the bill under the line item "adder" which is to "protect their margin" which is utter nonsense. Their added fees doubled the cost per kilowatt.

This company reached to switch me to a cheaper rate. That was true for 6 months. At that point my rate become triple what they were advertising. STAY AWAY!!

They keep harassing me

They keep harassing me. Everytime I receive a call from this company, I immediately block the number and ask to be put on the do not call list. THEY CALL ME EVERY WEEK TRYING TO MAKE ME SIGN UP FOR A SERVICE I DO NOT WANT! Every time I ask them why they keep calling they just hang up and they call a week later. Very rude!

Absolute worst switch I ever made

Absolute worst switch I ever made! This company charged me $621.33 for the month of January when I used LESS electricity this year at this time than last year when I was with ComEd. Customer service is very rude and abrasive. I was hung up on 4 times and was never called back even though they verify your number at the beginning of the call. When I called back for the last time and asked to speak to management, I was hung up on again. I was also charged over $500.00 for the month of December. Their fees are also absolutely outrageous. If I could give then a zero rating, I definitely would! Total scam!
