EcoWarm is a complete SCAM

On December 7th, 2024 I came across the EcoWarm infomercial while searching through YouTube.
I assumed that since Google or YouTube, is sponsoring this, that it must be legit, but this is clearly not the case. Shame on you Google for sponsoring such crap on your websites.
I purchased two of these devices and suspected that this was a shady operation after receiving my purchase confirmation and discovered that I was charged an additional $13 per device for a warranty that I did not choose or want.
The website did not provide any customer support contact information of any kind, so there was no way to dispute this charge. When the items arrived, there wasn’t any contact information in the documentation either.
Upon receipt, I immediately unboxed them and discovered that both were defective. What are the odds of that huh?
1. The first one did not power up, either by pushing the buttons on the heater or with the remote control provided.
o Not only would it not power up, but it would not stay plugged in. These devices were clearly not designed for American outlets and had an adapter type plug. The adapter causes the heater to stick out so far from the plug, that the weight of the device pulls the heater away from the outlet, so it just falls to the floor.
2. The second one did power up, but I had the same issue with it falling to the floor, because it would not stay plugged in.
o The temperature was also displayed in Celsius and there were no instructions on how to change it to Fahrenheit. I was also unable to adjust the temperature up or down on the second device.
By this point, I decided that these were junk and would no way risk having something like this plugged in my house.
I searched the internet and found a customer service number, but after contacting them, I was told that I would have to ship these devices to China to receive a refund.
My response was that had I known they were coming from China; I would never have purchased them. Nor will I spend another dime on this junk, and if they wanted them back, they would have to provide a return shipping label, otherwise I would toss them in the garbage, where they belong.
Do NOT purchase from these people, their products are complete junk and their so called customer service is non-existent.

This product is a complete scam

This product is a complete scam. The advertising claims to have lpts of great reviews, when, in fact, if you go to the review website you will find that this product is garbage. Ecowarm shows ABC, Fox, USA Today, CBS News, NBC, all endorse this product and that Ecowarm has a "Rated Excellent with a "Trust Score" of 4.9 based on 1209 reviews, which is PURE BS. The website "TrustPilot.com" only had one positive review with all the rest completely negative. Returns are next to impossible, as is contacting the company. DONT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY!!!!!!

Eco Warm Scam

Do not buy this product. It's a scam. ALL the claims about this heater I saw on You Tube are 100% false. The turbo fan doesn't even push heat out past 18 inches directly in front of the unit. This thing wouldn't heat your bathroom. I tried to return it and didn't even get a response. Unfortunately I bought three. Total scam. Don't buy this product.

Heaters that don't heat anything

I bought 4 heaters with the lifetime warranty, cost £150 in total.I bought them thru a YouTube add, they took 2 weeks or so to get to me in the UK..They arrived ok but when I plugged one in I set the temp to max and observed what would happen, after 3 minutes then heater went cold,it never heated anything.I got conned good style,it never dawned on me that YouTube would allow scammers to con me on their platform, they don't care if you get scammed.Anyway,I got £150 back but had to pay £32 pound to ship to China. These heaters are £6 on temu

In complains with Federal Trade Laws any company that operates in USA market MUIST have representation in the country they operate.
To stop unresponsible fraudulent business in USA that are scamming our consumers we should report issue to attorney generals, BBB and Federal Trade Commitee for an investigation.

DON'T!!!!!!

As a lot of these reviews state, this is something you do not want to waste your money on, trust the reviews!
I bought one while watching a YouTube video back in November 2024...not from their actual website. I discovered....after ordering it...that it was coming from China and I knew then it was a bad deal in the making. I waited several weeks before it finally arrived in late December. In the meantime, I discovered all these negative reviews warning not to buy this! After several curt exchanges with a supposed "customer service rep", I wanted to return the "product" as it certainly did not warm the bathroom "to a comfortable 72 degrees" as claimed. I literally tried it for a few minutes and quickly determined that it was worthless and placed the heater back in its original box with everything inside. When I inquired about returning it for a credit, I was told I has to ship it back to China! Here's the kicker...I checked with FedEx and DHL and the costs to ship it back to their company ranged from $139 to $169!!! Twice the cost of the product itself. So, guess who's stuck with a useless product?
Save your money!

No warranty, no response from company

Apparently I, too, was taken in by this scam. I didn't realize it till I tried to contact the company, was unable to, looked them up online, and found ample information about the scam. My issue was that the manual that comes with the heater shows it with a three-prong (grounded) US plug, and it says it should only be plugged into a three-prong outlet for safety, but the plug on the heater was two-prong although there was space for the third. This didn't seem safe to me, so I haven't plugged it in. I also paid for a "lifetime warranty," but didn't receive it in any form, paper or downloadable, and have no information about how to get coverage under the supposed warranty. And, again, there's no way to contact the company, that I have found. I paid through PayPal, and have filed a claim there, so maybe PayPal will be able to reach them.

DO NOT PURCHASE THIS ITEM ITS A SCAM.

Please avoid this product, its a scam, I have no idea why I did not verify with Trust Pilot first before purchasing this item, thank God I only purchased 1 unit. It does not warm shit, the only thing that heats up is the heater itself and it switches off once the heater heats up. DO NOT PURCHASE THIS PRODUCT!

Complete & utter SCAM! Please avoid.

As someone else has mentioned my breath is warmer than these useless heaters! Thankfully I only purchased one, I feel for anyone who took the offer & bought four of these garbage machines. Only myself to blame as I didn’t check Trustpilot & other websites highlighting the scam before ordering.

Burn your money instead, you'll get warmer

I bought two of these. My breath is warmer than the air these pieces of shit create. In fact, I think I could have generated more heat by simply burning the $130 I spend on these "heaters."
And try to get in touch with these people. Save your breath, you can use it to warm your house.
