Excellent service from Dawn who went the extra mile to help relieve my hearing issues.

After having issues for months with both my ears due to a massive build up of wax and trying all the drops and oils I'd been recommended, it finally got to the stage I couldn't hear out of either ear.
My Girlfriend found E. A. R. on the Internet and contacted them via email on a Friday evening after hours.

I was amazed to get a call on the Sunday to arrange a time for an appointment.
I was nervous about my appointment having never needing my ears suctioned before and everyone telling me about their previous experiences (at different clinics and GP's)

My appointment was a totally different one from the ones I'd heard, it was relaxed, informative and also a very funny experience.
Dawn went above and beyond to help me regain my hearing and remove a ridiculous amount of wax.
I'd highly recommend this service and the professionalism that comes with it.

After not being able to hear properly out of my right ear for around 6 months. Dawn has completely fixed me and I’m absolutely lost for words. Dawn is Professional, relaxing, and an all round lovely person.

Dawn was extremely competent in handling my difficult BPPV ( vertigo) issue. I had been trying to find a suitable doctor to undertake the procedure for months. We had been trying to find someone to help my 78 year old mum who is bedbound and had severe problems hearing. Her GP had not arranged for anyone to visit after weeks, so I had arranged for someone private to come and do a home hearing test. Unfortunately they said they couldn't do a test because her ears were so full of wax and needed micro suction. So I contacted Edinburgh Audiology Rehab and Dawn Saunders attended within a couple of days, she was an angel and gave me advice on preparing mum's ears with Earol to soften the wax before removal. My dad was there on the day and said that Dawn was extremely professional and removed a large amount of wax in the most sympathetic manner, restoring my mum's hearing. We are so grateful to her for being so kind to mum and for her expertise in what was a tricky operation, especially given my mum's physical condition, being bedbound and with limited movement due to stroke complications. She is now able to hear us clearly and it has made such a difference! She will be able to join in conversations and listen to music, books and TV comfortably, which is so important when you are immobile. I cannot thank Dawn enough and recommend her extremely highly.

Being a hearing aid wearer I have always had problems answering my mobile phone, so recently I read about Bluetooth Aids and decided to contact Dawn for advice. Dawn is very professional and helpful. She organised me with Resound Aids which are brilliant. I can now hear my calls clearly. Dawn has also contacted me after the fitting to make sure I am satisfied with them. I couldn’t ask for better service.

Ear wax build up and removal has been one of those things for me over the years! Having recently moved from England to the Scottish Borders it was always going to be a challenge to find somewhere I could rely on. Thanks to the internet and Trustpilot I found it. The whole process from start to finish at Edinburgh Audiology Rehab was first class. Booking easy and my visit fully covid secure. Having rather foolishly managing to lose my hearing aid due to it getting caught up in my mask and being catapulted into a load of bushes. I was desperate to get another one but being on a tight budget I had to source a used one online from eBay . I asked Dawn if she could help me out and reprogram it . Sadly it was not working at first but after some real expertise Dawn managed to get the new one working perfectly . Not only that she said that if in future I needed too purchase a used hearing aid, to consult with her first as she could advice me as to which types would be more suitable.
Over the years I have had dealings with a few Audiologist's and none of them were that willing to touch used Hearing Aids. As we all know the cost of Hearing aids in particular at these difficult times are hard for some people Recycling of good quality Hearing aids is not considered by people often enough . Dawn is very understanding and does not operate hard sell . However if you want to buy new she can offer great prices from leading suppliers !00% recommend

It’s a terrible feeling when you feel you have not done the best for your children. My daughter has had blocked ears for months, we quickly took her to the GP who in turn referred us to the Ear Nose and Throat but warned us that although she would stress how urgently we need to be seen that it still may be quite a wait as that department was stretched.. We got an appointment at the E N T after over 3 months.. The last thing I want to do is complain about the NHS as I am a huge fan, but on this occasion it was far from good.. After the quickest of assessments, we were told to come back in 4 months.. My Whole family were shocked as they are all aware how difficult a time my daughter has had in school struggling to hear her teachers.. Thankfully my big sister immediately called The Edinburgh Audiology Rehab and was given an appointment. The level of care and professionalism that we have received has been amazing.. My Daughters hearing is now “ super human “ lol. She can now hear all her teachers and friends and we can take subtitles of any tv program we watch.. I cannot express my gratitude enough to the whole team at Edinburgh Audiology Rehab.. Huge, huge thanks..

Our son was suffering from earache and loss of hearing due to wax build up. We contacted Edinburgh Audiology Rehab and they called right back right. The price was very reasonable especially considering it was a home visit. Our son received excellent care and attention from Dawn, who was extremely professional and competent. The appointment took less than 10 minutes and the issue is now completely resolved.

Dawn was extremely helpful, and through out the hearing aid fittings, she kept to the Covid 19 rules, to avoid any contamination.

I had a blocked ear and couldn't hear for 3 weeks. I went to see my GP twice but they didn't offer any relief. I finally went to see Dawn at the Roslin clinic and within 20 mins she had fixed my ear & I could hear again. Highly recommended.

I would highly recommend Edinburgh Audiology Rehab. My partner was miserable due to blockage of ear wax in both ears. Due to covid GPS couldn't syringe his ears. Dawn was amazing seen us the same day, very professional, kind and put him at ease. Would definitely recommend to anyone that need this service.
