Not Impressed -- Packs Received Were Incorrect
I have used EPI a few times for school supplies, and each year there are differences between what the school requests and the EPI packs provide. This year, one of my kids is in 5th grade at Traut Core Knowledge school in Fort Collins, Colorado, and there is no EPI pack for that grade. When paying someone to provide what a school requests, and those items are all common supplies, I do not expect to hear the teachers say that the packs don't match their list, but that they will just make do with what I have. This year, I used our local Walmart and found every item at a combined price which is cheaper than EPI -- especially if you have a Walmart+ membership. The 5th grade class came up with a better and cheaper plan (if you have Amazon Prime), which was to put together an Amazon Prime shopping list and publicize that list. You click on the items in the list, add them to your shopping cart, and the supplies arrive within a few days, which is much faster than EPI.
