Had a call from EE? After much to and fro, the chap explained EE merge with BT. He said I could save £12 on my monthly price on new contract ( I was aware I was at the end of my contract but couldn’t face the rigmarole)
So a new router was sent I plugged it in and after re-entering the massive password things got going except my HP printer and spent 5 hours with BT after the getting passed from Frank to Earnest, then George and whoever and being cut off and nearly throwing it all out of the window with the useless chat box ( what a waster of money that is) no doubt some @$**!r go a flipping pay rise. But was talking to someone who also had same issues, they just put their old router back in and sent the new one back (complying with recycle law). Turns out it worked for me too. I’m so concerned about the future of it all, I’m aging and struggle with it all… the TV might just end up thrown onto the pile of rubbish. At least Radio has some brilliant channels to listen to …..
As per other complaints ..sort it out! I’m doing my own survey to find a better service and customer service …after 40 years being a BT customer! There is no service… what a shambles.

I recently tried to find a new broadband deal and the whole experience was incredibly frustrating. I spoke with four different people, and each person gave a completely different take on the situation. I had to repeat myself multiple times and kept being pushed toward adding a TV package that I had already clearly said I did not want.
After finally agreeing to a deal, I was then told that the offer was suddenly no longer available. I was promised a call back because it was supposedly a “manager’s offer,” but later told that the deal was for new customers only — despite the fact that I have been a loyal customer for many years.
It should not be this difficult for an existing customer to get a reasonable deal. The process felt misleading, disorganised, and inconsistent, and I left the conversation feeling like I had been lied to. I came very close to making a formal complaint.
Overall, a really disappointing experience.

Was looking to change broadband. Seeing your colleague made this so much easier to do in person. He explained everything and we are happy with our new price.

The whole order was not completed in the time frame we had and we were told the advisor would call us back at 7.00pm the same evening - 15 hours later we are still waiting and we are not sure who now to contact.
