The GPs are professional and lovely to deal with. I wish my own GP would listen and offer solutions like this.

Bad experience
Not good, I’ve been sick this week, I need the certificate to proof why I couldn’t go to work. The GP told me that he can cover just the last couple of days. It doesn’t make any sense. I’ve paid 40 euros!!
However, it isn’t good.

Terrible they don’t even do doctors notes from the previous week, that’s just not acceptable and when you’re trying to get a refund they avoid you like the plague if you value your money you will go elsewhere.

Very easy to book. I booked phone consultation, doctor was running a couple of minutes late, revieved a message letting me know. Phone call was quick and to the point. Documentation etc. Needed was forwarded within moments of completion.

Pointless waste of money.
Got my bloods done. Paid for a video consultation to go through them and get a prescription. Consultation was not on video, it was a phone call. Doctor had not reviewed my bloods which I had sent in advance, doctor repeatedly showed he had not read my bloods, saying I had low this or that, even though my bloods stated the opposite. Only recommendation was to redo bloods in 6 weeks. I already knew this. Called for a prescription and dint get one. He did not address my symptoms at all. Terrible terrible experience.

EIRDOC is the way to go in 2026
This is a great service, you can get an appointment almost immediately compared to a two week wait at the local medical centre, let’s be honest, I’d either be dead or better by the time that appointment came around. Also the cost of consultation is about 1/2 of what the medical Centre charges. Eirdoc has competent and compassionate GP’s who work efficiently to diagnose and treat you right there on the spot. They email over a script to your local chemist which is usually ready within the hour, they also provide sick note for work or school or college, what’s not to like?. 10 out of 10. Thank you EIRDOC.
