Customer Service and Refund Policy
This comment does not relate to the equipment but to the Companies refund policy. If you are considering making a purchase of EKORAD's excellent equipment check on the Companies Refund Policy before placing an order. I got caught out.
Purchased this for our new showroom, after getting rid of an old storage heater. Brilliant, looks very neat on the wall, we keep it on low all the time, and increase heat when we have showers etc. Would highly recommend, just about to purchase one for the kitchen. Only down side, we find we do have to clean the filter more often than recommended, but this is a very simple task.
Impressed by both pre-sales and support service. Once we'd confirmed the correct size and type of heating delivery took only a couple of days.
one rad makes a lot of sounds when turned up high ,this goes on for a long time. this seems to be some of the time,so wondering if expansion a problem

The sound you are hearing is the metal, which, when heating up from cold can often cause a noise. If the heater is kept running at a lower temperature constantly, then this will not occur and will be more economical and efficient for you in the long run, so we would recommend this.
If you can imagine a graph, and the temperature starting at 0 degrees, the line it creates whilst creeping up will have a long way to rise in order to reach your chosen comfort temperature. Similarly, when the heater is then switched off, the line will drop from your selected temperature all the way back down to zero again. And it will repeat this pattern every time you switch the heater on and off.
If you let the heater run at, say, 17 or 18 degrees constantly, the heater will have much less work to do to get you up to your comfort temperature and this will result in lower energy bills overall and faster results to get the heat you require. Although we have gas central heating for the house, being 3 floors we found the top floor didn't quite get up to the desired temperature during the colder winter months. I saw the advertisement for this radiator it seemed to be everything we wanted, both radiator and convector with an efficient controllable thermostat. We are not disappointed, it is very efficient and cuts off at exactly the temperature set. Also very pleased with its very smart appearance, We particularly like the timing setting, very useful if you forget to turn it off. What more could you ask for. Mr and Mrs Fitch.
