Review summary

Created with AI, based on recent reviews

Considering 33 reviews, most reviewers were let down by their experience overall. Many customers were dissatisfied with the product, finding it to be of poor quality and not as advertised, often containing glitter instead of a subtle glow. People also reported issues with orders, including items not being received or only partial orders arriving. Customers frequently struggled to obtain refunds, with the company often avoiding questions about returns or having restrictive return policies, especially for discounted items. Some customers also expressed concerns about discrepancies between advertising and the actual product, noting that the product often came from China despite being presented differently, and that promotional materials sometimes featured content from other brands.

FALSE ADVERTISING STEALING KOPARI ADS

I would give zero stars if I could. I am so mad at myself for not realizing this sooner.
They are using a Kopari ad for the sunscreen mist spf and using it as their own. My product arrived today and that's when it dawned on me. I had noticed at the time I placed my order that the website said Elaria...I naively assumed it was maybe a beauty supply selling Kopari products thinking there was no way that using an ad for a legit product would be allowed...which is crazy to think about how you cant even use a song in a video for your personal social media because of copyright laws, but blatant false advertising is fine. Unbelievable. I don't even know if I can go down the road of recieving a refund since I can already tell it will be a nightmare since the fees to return it fall on me.
I AM SO SO SO OUTRAGED!!!

SCAM !!!!!!

I received 3 products today. All from China and made in China. One box says Elaria setting mist and the other two boxes are completely different brand names that look super dodgy. One is a sheer body mist, the other a body glow . I won’t be touching all 3 as I don’t want to harm my skin with gross ingredients!! I paid over $120 for absolute rubbish. Do not buy from these BS artists.
They show video’s on their website of another product called Kopari pretending it’s their own. I only realised after I had ordered and they declined a refund.

If I could give less than 1 star I…

If I could give less than 1 star I would. An absolute scam. AVOID AVOID AVOID. They are knowingly falsely advertising their product by using a Kopari video and linking their own website to it. When I questioned them, they outright lie as if they don’t know about the association they themselves have created on the back of Kopari’s genuine reputation. They have no intention of giving refunds either, using a ridiculous clause about buy 1 get 1 free offer being exempt from a refund, even though there is no other option available when purchasing. They are breaking the UK consumer protection laws and are continuing to trick the consumers into buying a product they are never going to receive. I hope Kopari will do something about it.

I bought one bottle of SPF 50 sunscreen…

I bought one bottle of SPF 50 sunscreen and it was not what they advertised. The bottle is much smaller than the video and the ingredients are not listed in their ad because if I’d know the ingredients of this product, I never would have purchased it. On the box is printed keep out of reach of children. I requested to return the unopened package to them and requested my $37 back and they said they needed to know why I didn’t want to open the package or use it. I told them my reasons and still they have not refunded my money or sent a shipping label. I have requested them to Refund the money and send a shipping label to take the product back. Federal trade commission does not permit false advertising and misleading consumers on size of product contents of product and hiding that the product was made in China. I didn’t purchase the buy one, get one free. I purchased one bottle and they are stalling on the refund. I am sending a complaint to FTC and will ask them investigate.

Definitely would not recommend

Definitely would not recommend.

I ordered as they had an offer for ‘buy one get one free’ and when the product arrived they had sent only 1 item. They said I needed to add two to my bag to get the promotion (nowhere does it say this online).

The ‘glow’ you get is from shimmer and nothing else. They must pay people on Instagram to promote their product, as it’s really nothing special.

Tiny little bottle & a rip off.

You don’t get what you expect

You don’t get what you expect. The so called shine you expected comes from shimmer and shiny glitter that’s inside the bottle. I bought 4 bottles.. and I’m not happy with the product. The sending went smooth and well.. that’s the only plus, there is. I would say.. this product doesn’t meet expectations . Very disappointing.

Do not buy from this company

Do not buy from this company. It is a total scam!! First off, they are holding a Kopari sunscreen. When I purchased the FAKE SUNSCREEN, 10 minutes later, I sent an email telling them that the sunscreen they are showing was Kopari and I did not want it. They said it was already processed but it was not. Save your money and purchase Kopari and not this scam!! This was on June 5th. Just received the trash sunscreen, that I will not put on my face. I do have the screenshot of this and they are holding Kopari!!

Return and Refund policy is a scam!

I purchased the Elaria 50 Sheer Setting Mist and I could not tolerate the fragrance which lingered and gave me a headache, until I washed it off. I tested the product the same day it was delivered and contacted their customer service the same day. I was deeply disappointed with Elaria's refusal to allow refunds for the buy 1 get 1 free deal, which appears to be their limited purchasing choice - even if you just wanted to purchase one, you couldn't! I purchased, trusting it was a genuine offer, but their no-refund policy (which they did post in their refunds section) feels like a deliberate tactic to trap customers. Upon further review, it appears this is the only offer they consistently run (unless you want to buy 2 get 2 free, etc.), which feels deceptive and unfair.

Denying refunds under these circumstances gives the impression that the only method of purchasing the product is designed to lock customers into purchases without recourse, undermining trust in their business.

I feel misled, as the perpetual nature of the way you must purchase was not clearly communicated, and the no-refund policy seems exploitative.

I requested a refund for my purchase but they said that because of the buy 1 get one free offer, they would not honor it. VERY MISLEADING since that is the only way to buy the product, other than buy 2 get 2 free, etc.

So based on the limited way you MUST purchase the product, their misleading return and refund policy would never be realistically applicable. This is the most deceptive and manipulative policy ever! So basically, if you don't like it after trying it, no way to get a refund honored. Yes, they stated it on their website, but in reality, it would never be honored - get it?

Elaria's return and refund policy is actually a scam, soooo deceptive and a rug pull indeed!
