Just completed my Level 2 City & Guilds Diploma in Electrical Installation at Elec Training and it has been a fantastic course. My tutors Mark and Laethian were absolutely brilliant. With nearly forty... See more

After completing my level 3 2365 I looked around to find somewhere to complete my nvq level 3, this can be harder than you think, I came across Elec train and they offer job placement. My experience with Liam on recruitment has been faultless, after many contacts from employers that went no where Liam kept on feeding contacts who will be calling you. I have now had a very positive interview and waiting for a job offer early next week. If I'm not successful I'm sure I will be contacted by Liam with more contacts. The team have given 100% from the start. I have found Elec train to be very impressive and committed and I'm sure once I have secured employment completing the nvq with tutor guidance will be as thorough as the recruitment process. Don't hesitate if your looking to complete your nvq and need work placement, this is the place....

Having worked in hospitality all my life and coming in to do something completely brand new to me, I knew it was gonna be a massive challenge. But all the guys, Neil, Mark and Laethian were all great teachers and very patient with each and every learner. I struggled with confidence quite a bit as lots of other people on the course had some kind of experience in similar trades, but again the guys were always happy to help and now I’ve officially passed my level 2. I could not recommend these guys enough even if I tried! Onto 18th edition next week. Thank you very much lads for kickstarting my new career! - Dan

Thank you to Elec Training for helping me take the next steps into the electrical industry. I’ve completed my Level 2 and received support throughout the process. Josh was particularly helpful and assisted me in finding employment with an electrical contractor local to me. I’m really happy with the outcome so far and looking forward to progressing onto my Level 3 and NVQ with Elec Training.
Kind regards, Simon Bowen

Good reliable people working to help you get qualified. Signed up in the end of November not the best time as everything is starting to close no one’s looking to take people on but they kept trying until Liam managed to find me something in the beginning of the year. As I said reliable people working there always ready to answer any questions and give you a hand.

I was recommended by a friend to join elec training to gain my nvq in electrics.
I was very dubious at first the cost and wondering if I was going to get a great job to suit my needs, but January 5th I decided to go for it .
Within only a few days of this new calendar year I have been put forward for my first interview with a job offer!
There has been lots of calls from the recruitment team.supporting my needs.
Liam M the recruitment and partnerships officer has gone above and beyond for me, given me 100% confidence that my money was well spent and my future is looking so much better now I have already had a job offer and moving forward with my career thanks to him I’m looking forward to a great year.

I wrote proper negative review about this centre.
The reason was that they couldn’t provide me the job placement in guaranteed time period. It took around 5 plus months to finally get a placement.
I want to give zero credit to the management team. Because they are very poor at their management. Unless you keep chasing them, they will do something otherwise good luck.
As I get the placement now, I will give this credit to Mr Liam. He worked hard and unstoppable to get me a placement. If the score goes to Liam then I will give him 5 Stars. So for over all I will give the Center 3 Stars.
I want to share couple of my experiences with them.
* Don’t believe what the sales people say you.
* Remember the price of the course is not the same what the sales team say.
There would be £750 extra.
I will break them ( £250 for job placement, £500 for the assessor to visit you on the site)
* The time to get the placement is not true, it could take up to half year to get your first placement.
* The placement is not permanent position. It is a self employed position. It means you will get the job placement through the agencies.
*These jobs placement won’t be for long time. It might be a week or two. Then you have to wait again to get you another position.
For now I got first position after around 5 and half months, and won’t be for long time. So good luck to me for the second position. I don’t know how long it will take to get me another position.
A can believe on Liam now. He is young and hard working mate. I wish if he could get me another position straight after this one done.

Best training company by far..
After gaining valuable qualifications (level 2 and 3, 18th and 2391) I was finding it quite difficult to get employment/placement to start my NVQ.. After reading all the excellent reviews about this company I thought I'd join them as it stated they find you employment (Have their own employment section) and help you get through your NVQ... After only a short amount of time Elec training managed to find me that placement and I couldn't be happier, I seem to be on the right track for a bright future and I'm buzzing!! A big shout out to Joshua ( I owe you) for finding me work and giving me that faith..
Thank you again... Leon

Big thank you to everyone at elec training , especially Malcom !!!! The best teacher I could have asked for and he made the course so much easier with all stories and the way he taught us all . I’m now level 2 qualified and have my 18th edition certificate and I couldn’t have done all that without Malcolm. I highly recommend elec training if you want to become an electrician . Thanks so much Ben Lowe

Thank you, Elec Training!
Despite being based in Stockport, I was placed with a local company and can now start working towards my NVQ. A big thank you to all the trainers who supported me in achieving my Level 2, Level 3, and 18th Edition qualifications.
And a special thanks to Laethian, Tom and Josh for all putting a lot of effort in to help me pass the course's and find work placement. Laethian was a great tutor for my level 2 and made the course easy to follow, Josh went above and beyond with helping find work placement local and with a good electrcial company carrying out commercial and domestic work, He also kept me updated throughout. Tom stepped in to help us with our level 3 and was really knowledgeable and helpful in getting through the course.

Liam was brilliant in finding me a placement. Found me a placement to walk straight into once I finished, and was in constant conversation with me through the whole process. Couldn’t have been better!

A huge thank you to Elec Training! You’ve not only helped me launch my career in electrics, but I’m now Level 2 qualified and have my 18th Edition certification. Josh found me a great placement with a London company that suited my work situation perfectly — and it all happened in under a month. I’m extremely grateful to all the instructors Particularly Laethian and to Josh for their support throughout both the training and job placement process. I highly recommend Elec Training!
Kind regards

5 stars – Highly recommended
Elec Training provided excellent support throughout my qualification process. They helped me secure employment to complete my Level 3 NVQ and guided me at every step. The team is knowledgeable, professional, and genuinely focused on helping trainees move forward in their careers. I’m very grateful for their assistance and would strongly recommend them to anyone starting out in the electrical industry.

I have joined the team almost 2yrs ago and. Confidently say they are the best team ever I have came across during my career in electronics. The continuous support they provide throughout your journey with them. There’s always one to one support available with the team if needed. I have referred them to many of my friends from the first day till the last and will continuously talk about the positivity throughout my journey. They are very friendly if you wanna pop in anytime for any advice and questions

I recently completed my level 2 & 18th edition with Elec Training, and really enjoyed it. All the trainers that I had were perfect, they managed to get me from being a complete beginner, to doing a final build that I was proud of. They offer support constantly, knowledge and go above and beyond to teach you.
Aside from the teachers, my original course consultant Mike was everything I needed. Offering support before I started, to even now checking how I’m doing and what I’m getting up to. If I had a question - even about what to wear - he always came back to me. He kept me motivated and supported me throughout my final week and had 100% faith in me even when I had small doubts. Being a female and going through training was daunting, but having Mike as my number 1 cheerleader (with Neil, Laeth & Malc in joint second) helped massively. They were all great and my experience was very positive.

There isn't any short cut ways becoming electrician in the UK at all especially with your funding why Because you will just end up with frustrating, regret with all fake promises made to you out there!!
I would love to share my experience a few years back with this trainee provider! So I had already completed electrical theory to advanced level before it however I can't find work experience onsite hence I sign up for the course when I saw that provider had ability to support learners to find work and enable them to do NvQ therefore completed the course sound great isn't it however I found it hard to believe when I sign up the course that they can't help you find work and the fee I was agreed wasn't simply allowed me to do what I was going to do which was the NVq instead the fee was just to complete level three advanced courses which I had already done it and provided full certificate for it!!
Here's the disappointment after all this and I attended the training two days and wanted to withdraw and asked my refund since they didn't meet my expectation holly shit after so many weeks up down they did refund it however they took about 300 hundred pound for attended two days and got nothing from it however when I Sign up the course I had the right to withdraw anytime and get refund. This is true my best knowledge hence before its too late learn from others and avoid such thing
