I had the worst customer service experience of my life with this company.
I placed an order on their webshop on Monday 9th December. I selected the option for delivery within 5 working days. They said they would email me to confirm. I received an email from them on Tuesday 10th, and I replied Wednesday 11th confirming I would pay the extra for it to be within 1-2 working days.
I was given the payment link and told the delivery would be made on the 20th December - which was 7 working days away. I was also told it might be delayed and be the following week, i.e. 10 working days.
I left a 4 star review for them on google saying that they all seemed friendly and helpful but that the delivery process was slightly confusing and dissapointing.
I got a phonecall from the owner of the business, where he shouted down the phone at me and said some of the following;
- Who do you think you are
- What's wrong with you
- I'm going to review your workplace in retaliation
- People like you are what's wrong with the world
- You're a terrible person
- He wouldn't send the wood out unless I removed the review
And similar. I was firm with him and tried to be reasonable - I didn't mean to upset him, and I offered to remove my bad review. I did this, and intended to swallow my pride and move on, but once he began shouting I had recorded the phone call. Once I showed it to someone else they said they didn't want to support this sort of behaviour and we demanded a refund instead.
I waited a while incase there was an apology once the tricky christmas period had calmed down, but I never heard back. I know we all have bad days, and I tried to be fair, but it is unacceptable for people to treat one another this way, let alone when one is a paying customer being accomodating to a delay.
