The movers did a great job with my…

The movers did a great job with my move. I cannot say anything bad about Elevated. The reservation was easy, the move went smooth. Brian was the operations manager he went over so much information with me to make sure everything went smooth. It was a larger move so there was many moving parts that we had to discuss. Delivery took a bit longer than expected but that's because my items were in storage for a month and I called last minute to ask for delivery of the furniture. Unfortunately because they have to build a route to redeliver it took a few extra days but that did not affect the level of service, they kept up with me and informed me of everything in advanced. Overall I would recommend them and they offer free storage.

Promise not kept

Everything was fine until the delivery. My son was in another city attending college. I was flying there to receive the delivery. I explained that we had a very tight delivery window and needed it on September 2. Everyone I talked to, the salesman and move coordinator, said that would be fine, they noted it on my account. I arranged all of my travel plans around this assurance from Elevated. The delivery wasn't made until the 4th. Therefore I had to extend my stay and change flights... all of which cost extra. Also, my son's apartment is on the third floor, so I had to pay for the second flight of stairs. However the delivery person charged by the step, which cost extra. Upon calling Elevated about all of this I was told they were well within the 21 day delivery window and not responsible for the extra travel charges. I realize that, but don't make a promise and not keep it.

While we do our best to meet requested delivery dates, moving is a complex process with many variables beyond our control, and delays can sometimes occur. As noted in your agreement, delivery can take up to 21 business days, and while we remained within well BELOW timeframe (only 2 days late), we regret that your shipment did not arrive on your preferred date.

We appreciate your understanding and are truly sorry for the added stress and costs this caused you. Thank you for bringing this to our attention—we will use this feedback to continue improving our scheduling and communication.

Don’t fall for their scam

Don’t fall for their scam, they give you a rock bottom price then the day of the move they hit you with the surprise the cost would double or triple, not only that but after I refused to pay their insane amount they wanted I got a call from their customer service offering a partial refund if I changed my review, never got the refund, never heard back from them.
Beware of this people.

Our records show that our team made multiple efforts to contact you prior to the move in order to review your inventory and finalize all necessary paperwork. Unfortunately, despite repeated attempts, you advised us on several occasions that you were unavailable and declined to go over the full inventory list. This made it very difficult for us to verify the scope of the move in advance.

We have written confirmation from you stating that your entire inventory consisted of a full garage of boxes and a motorcycle. Based on this information alone, and without further details or inventory breakdown, we prepared an estimate using industry-standard volume calculations and included additional space as a buffer. However, it wasn’t until the day of the move that our team was finally able to assess the full volume of items — which significantly exceeded what had been initially described.

We understand the frustration that comes with a price adjustment on moving day, but the estimate was based solely on the limited information provided at the time. We never intend to mislead our customers, and we make every effort to provide accurate quotes when full and accurate details are given.

While we understand your disappointment, our team was transparent about the process and made every effort to clarify and confirm details well in advance. We are happy to discuss this further in a constructive and respectful manner should you wish to resolve this outside of further escalation.

Don't trust them.

I booked them to do a long distance move for me. They did not tell me that I could not pay the balance with a credit card and a week later when I tried to cancel because I needed to pay with a card, they refused to refund my $600 deposit. My move was still over 2 weeks away which was plenty of time for them to cancel and refund my deposit. Do not trust them! They are not a reputable company!

We would like to note that payment by credit card was in fact an available option to you. However, your reason for cancellation was not clearly communicated to us at the time. Had we been informed that your concern was regarding the payment method, we would have gladly worked with you to accommodate your needs and explore all available options.

As with many service-based businesses, we do have a 72-hour cancellation policy in place. Your reservation was confirmed on June 20, and your request to cancel was received on June 27—well outside the cancellation window. Therefore, per the terms agreed upon at the time of booking, a refund is not due at this time.

That said, we value your business and want to ensure you still receive the services you initially intended. As communicated previously, your $600 deposit remains on file as a credit that can be applied toward any future move with us within 24 months from the date of your original reservation.

We understand moving can be stressful, and we’re here to help should you choose to reschedule or if you have further questions. Please don’t hesitate to reach out to our Customer Service Team for additional support.

Stressful long distance move

Company is the same as Starline, so if you want accurate reviews google them. Very hard to get in contact with anyone. We had several issues with billing that was all on their side, yet it was always our problem. They promised several things that weren't true, and the company they contracted to get our items definitely was sketchy. Any time something happened and we tried to talk to someone, they always put the blame back on us. Severely underquoted us - our item count never changed but they said our cubic feet was 3 times less than what it was (unsure how we were to know how to measure this) so we were charged 3x the amount we were quoted (quoted $2,7000 total and ended up paying over $6,000). The only helpful person was F.G. from support/the main office (still unsure), but our main contacts were not super friendly or helpful. Would not use again and not sure what the $1,400 charge was we paid to them because they didn't do anything besides contract someone else to get our items. They will do anything but take accountability.

This company is a total scam.

This company is a total scam.

For background, we have moved more than 17 times using professional moving companies for both military and corporate relocation moves with generally positive results.

We contacted this company for a moving quote for a relatively small and simple move of some brand new furniture to be picked up at a local furniture store and delivered to a new home in a different city/state. The furniture was packed, boxed and ready to be moved by the store. There were no other services required by the moving company. We provided a detailed, itemized list of items to be picked up in the request for an estimate. There were no unusual or items requiring special handling and included a standard queen bedroom set, couch, loveseat, recliner, 3 small tables, kitchen table and chair set, TV and stand.

We received quotes from 5 other moving companies including a binding quote from the furniture store that was less expensive but could not be delivered until several days later than we wanted. All quotes received were with 10-15% of each other. Although this company was not the cheapest estimate, we chose them primarily because they could meet our preferred timeline and delivery date with pickup on June 1, and delivery to our location on June 2. They quoted us $1500 for the move and we paid a $500 deposit via ACH transfer upon contract execution. We received no copy of the executed contract (with e-signature) despite repeated requests to the company.

Late in the day on June 1 (pickup day), we were contacted by the driver that he would not be picking it up that day. He advised he would "try" to pick it up on Monday, June 2nd. He did in fact pick it up on Monday and advised he would deliver it sometime on Tuesday, June 3rd.

We were contacted by the driver on the afternoon of June 3rd while he was enroute to our location. He advised that we had "gone over" our estimate and that would need to pay an additional $2700 at the time of delivery. We said that we had not added or changed any items to the original estimate and if the company had done a poor job of estimating, that was not our fault. According to our contract (and non-binding estimate), the company would be within it's rights to charge up to an additional 10% of the original estimate which we were happy to pay as agreed. We immediately contacted customer service. They provided NO assistance in resolution despite numerous calls and promises throughout the day.

Throughout the day, the driver continued to call and threaten to hold our new furniture hostage or drop it off at an undisclosed warehouse unless we paid the new amount (total of $4100). We continued to reach out to Elevated customer service company to no avail. We spoke with several representatives who promised call back and left several messages that it was an urgent situation. No reply before their office closed.

The driver arrived at our location at 6:00pm on June 2nd and demanded payment of the additional $3600 he claimed was due. He was unable to provide any valid Interstate Bill of Lading that detailed the original estimate and details of any overage we were being billed.

Per the contract terms of payment, we were permitted to pay via credit card which should have been accomplished before the driver arrived. However, the driver demanded payment of the additional $3600 in cash or via Zelle cash app. We attempted to pay via Zelle after significant effort on our part to transfer money to a bank that participates in Zelle. The transfer to the account provided by the driver was declined by Zelle as the receiving account being fraudulent.

The drive advised that unless we paid, he would leave with our furniture and we would be charged an additional $825 storage/re-delivery fee. As we had no way to obtain $3600 in cash after 6:00pm, over the next 2+ hours, while the truck sat in our driveway, we attempted to remit payment via Paypal to multiple accounts, all declined due to fraud alert on receiver account. We were finally able to remit payment in several payments via Zelle using an alternate receiver account provided by the driver.

The driver and helper then began to unload the truck where they promptly broke the spindle on our upstairs stair bannister. Total unloading time: < 45 minutes.

We have since reached out to Elevated Moving Experts customer service multiple times. We have received no follow up or any resolution to our issues. Suffice it to say, we will be reporting this company to the Better Business Bureau and also pursing legal remedy.

After numerous calls this company is avoiding the issue like the plague. They are now screening the calls, with no corrective action of any kind. No resolution to repairing the damage to the home, no offer of any kind regarding the gross over charging, threats, etc. that have taken place.

I've moved several times in the past

I've moved several times in the past, but by far this is the most wonderful experience I've ever had with a moving company. The team was super professional and so mindful of my time and things. They showed up on time, completed the task quickly, treated my furniture with utmost respect. They took care of pretty much everything that needed to be disassembled and reassembled, and nothing was damaged. It is one truly stress-free experience that I am fully thrilled to recommend to others!

I had never used professional moving…

I had never used professional moving services before, but I have to say that they really chose the right company to do the job. Every one of the employees was courteous, hardworking, and respectful of my things. They would come all into my house and start packing everything orderly. Careful packing was taken with every furniture and other personal belongings so that none would get damaged in transit. They took even more care where my delicate items were concerned like mirrors, artwork, and glassware and brought everything in perfect condition to my new house. The flexible movers helped me with setting the furniture around the new home which was so cool. The rest went on quite seamlessly, and I swear it took shorter time than I planned for the moving operation itself. All employees were friendly, and I liked it when they updated me during the entire day. The service was worth what paid for and really affordable in terms of cost. I would recommend this moving company to anyone seeking easy moving.

I have no words to praise this amazing moving company. From the very outset, I was impressed with their professionalism. Good communication and fair pricing-on this score, nothing unexpected. The day of moving arrived, and the team showed up promptly for work. They were downright protective of my furniture-wrapping everything in blankets and bubble wrap. Moving some extremely heavy and awkward pieces-they hardly broke a sweat. Very quick and efficient-it took them a few hours to get everything moved. Before I could even ask, they began assisting me with moving some of the heavier boxes into specific rooms. They unloaded everything at the new place with the same care. I am impressed by the organization and thoroughness of the whole process. The movers made what would have become the worst day of my life practically smooth sailing. You do not even have to look for another moving company that will satisfy your needs!

After my recent relocation

After my recent relocation, I was a little apprehensive about how I would cope with it, but this moving company made the process very easy with little or no fuss. From the first phone call, I felt I was in good hands. The customer service was wonderful and worked with me to prepare a workable moving plan with no delay. The movers came on time and hurriedly went about their business of packing and loading my belongings. I have a lot of fragile items, particularly artworks and antiques, and I was a little worried that something would happen to them during the move. However, I noticed that very special care was paid to wrap and handle these items as they were more than others-and it made all the difference in the world! Everybody worked together like a well-oiled machine and the entire moving experience was done at a speed much quicker than I had anticipated. I must say, I really enjoyed my movers; they were polite, friendly, and yet very professional. They even helped me set up my new living room and bedroom, which really made it so much better. My impression of the entire moving experience was so good that I would highly recommend this company to anyone searching for a credible and professional moving company.
