Having Miss Patel as my A Level teacher was an absolute joy and privilege. Not only was she incredibly engaging in her lessons and style of teaching, but she also provided top insight and knowledge on approaching university applications, including personal statements and potential interviews.

Her approach to the subject inspired me to study Economics at UCL, and I owe a lot of future success to her.

Miss Patel was an outstanding A Level economics teacher during my time in sixth form at Watford Grammar School. During her lessons, I found that her style of teaching encouraged critical thinking by using the discussion of real-world examples to ensure that all students in the class were actively involved and understood all of the material that was covered in depth.

The overall structure of her lessons and her ability to simplify complex economic concepts made some of the more tricky parts of the syllabus seem much more manageable. Additionally, her feedback and support helped to build my confidence throughout the year and helped me to achieve a much higher grade.

I am grateful to have had Miss Patel as a teacher and I would happily recommend Miss Patel as a tutor/teacher!

My experience having Miss Patel as my A-level Economics teacher for 2 years was both inspirational and motivating. Through engaging teaching methods and support throughout the course, Miss Patel gave me the chance to expand my knowledge of complex economic concepts and also helped me to discover my passion and enjoyment for the subject further. Also, I feel as though my evaluation skills and critical thinking have both significantly developed as a result. Throughout the course, I felt academically challenged, pushed to do my best and praised when I succeeded. This support and help therefore enabled me to achieve an A* in my final A-level economics exam, and aided me in now pursuing a degree in Economics and Management at Loughborough University.

Ms Patel taught me Economics at A Level over the course of year 12 and 13, her teaching allowed me to excel in the course and achieve 312/335 for A Level Economics and allowed me to get into Warwick in their PPE programme with an A*A*A. Her teaching of Economics really allowed me to really progress throughout my academic career and I can attest that her teaching made me the student I am today!
