My grandma, who is a bit senile, was surprised to see we got her a projector because it was on her list. We had a giggle about it at first, thinking she had added it on accident, then realized that ALL OF US HAD RANDOM ITEMS ADDED TO OUR WISHLIST. Why is Elfster using AI to generate random items on our Wishlist??? Really stupid

Endless endless spam. I've unsubscribed and still they won't stop endlessly messaging me asking me to use them, telling me how great they are, and making me regret ever giving them my email address just so I could mark a gift as purchased. Nightmare site and a plague to anyone who makes the mistake of using it with you

Was good to draw names secretly, however two people drew the same name and one person was left without a present!!!!!

This is obviously ruined the whole point of secret santa!

Lame. I bought an item for an exchange, from Amazon, directly through Elster’s wishlist service. I purchased the gift well before our exchange date and selected it specifically from the items selected on my draw’s wishlist. Unfortunately, the item has still not shipped and will not be delivered in time for our event. I have kept up with the tracking and reached out to elfster’s customer support. They told me to deliver a cute little note to my draw (instead of a gift) stating that Santa would be running late this year. It’s lame. Lame lame lame.

ITS OK BUT IT KEEPS LOGGING ME OUT DUMB AAH APP

There was an issue with the updates to my event. They were resolved quickly. Thanks to the support team there.

Elfster is the easiest and best way to get the right gift for everyone. Their support is unmatched. Been using this service since 2018 for personal and business gift exchanges and can't imagine how hard shopping was before Elfster!

We love Elfster for holiday gift exchanges and have been using it for several years. I also find customer service to be extremely pleasant and attentive. The only reason I rated 4 stars is that I wish I could link my full Amazon Wishlist rather than creating a new Elfster one. Otherwise my rating would be 5 stars as it is extremely easy to use!

Used this service for Secret Santa organization. The event itself was fine, but their email management is atrocious. They make it very difficult to unsubscribe, resulting in lots of unwanted emails. The difficulty in opting out is a serious flaw and makes me hesitate to use the service again."

In less than 20 minutes today, the Elfster team replied to my call-out for help accessing an account with an employer email address that I very recently was laid off from so I could regain access and continue prep for an upcoming work team celebration I am hosting through their website. In a time that is already overwhelmingly difficult, I'm so grateful for companies like Elfster who take pride in what they do - no matter how small the ask - so that I can still facilitate a little joy for everyone. Handling requests with a quickness is rare exceptional customer service these days, but Elfster was a shining example in what very clearly would be their busiest holiday season! They deserve a big shout-out and some kudos!

Really annoying. I didn't choose to use this, a family member wanted us to do secret Santa this way. The only way to use it is to give personal details and email to set up an account, then it keeps sending you updates and countdowns. If you try to unsubscribe, you can set your account to stop messages but you can't delete your account until the date set by the secret Santa organiser... only 3 weeks to go

Recognises multiple accounts under one email address and duplicating them across exchanges doesnt link them. Recommend avoiding this app, very difficult and annoying to use. There are more straightforward alternatives that don't simultaneously try to push products on you through an in house marketplace.

We’ve been using Elfster for a few years now and absolutely LOVE IT! It’s well-organized, they think of every scenario possible, offer great suggestions and make our busy lives less stressful!! Kudos to the Elfster team…genius! Fizzy Craftyfingers, you rock!!

What a hopeless platform expects people to link accounts with old accounts 2 years ago.
Keeps wanting you to link, over complicated and futile.

Like many others, I have more than one email address. When I went to sign in for our family gift exchange this year, I inadvertently used the wrong email address, and the site set me up to open a new account. Thereafter it would take me immediately to the second page of the account application, and it also blocked my husband from his account. After my initial email, Elfster fixed the problem, and when I awoke this morning, all was right with the world.

I chose this app after my previous app didn't have as many options. It was easy to set up. But then everything disappeared! But not to worry, because Dazzle was on hand to look into two accounts I set, one by mistake, which he took care of and then spotted exactly where I had gone wrong and guided me through into getting my app back again. The customer service was perfect, responding in really good time and I really appreciate Dazzle's assistance. Best Elf!

With Elfster, who needs Santa !!?? This is the third year I have organized a gift exchange with Elfster.

The two previous years I did everything correctly and things went off just perfectly. However, this year I did something wrong. But no fear, Elfster --walked me through step by step how to correct my errors!!

I find the link to Wish List easy to access. There is a large variety of items to select at all price points.

Elfster certainly knows how to make a gift exchange a truly engaging and fun experience.

Trying to set up an exchange is such a ridiculously difficult experience. The functionality of the account page is so incredibly poorly designed.

When making an new draw you can't attach emails when you first make a guest list you have to make the exchange and then manually add the emails to each one afterwards. Of course, the website doesn't accept the email addresses you enter for every participant so you have to go back and re-add each users email address several times one by one until it finally accepts at random. Sometimes it won't accept and then suddenly the next time you try it does.

It then asks you confusingly, to check that 'name' is the same person as 'name@email' which makes no sense, because it obviously is as I'm the one making it. This requires several clicks and page loads each for each user and can't be done from a central page.

I don't like that it doesn't give you a chance to review everything before it goes live, allowing you the chance to check before you publish it. This means some people get messages and others don't which makes organising more frustrating as people chase to find out what's happened. Once you've gone live you can't really start again as it adds more confusion and confusing emails to those taking part.

The manage participants page doesn't update properly, meaning it says that participants haven't seen the draw, when I know they have.

It also spams all the users with confusing emails asking them about exchanges which makes participants think this years secret santa has already gone live. It should only be the original organiser that gets these emails!!!

Jinglebella helped me with true Elf and Christmas spirit in regaining access to my Elfster account! We had drawn names and were just beginning to shop! The app is great, and is perfect for running gift exchanges and Secret Santa’s!!
