OWNER & CEO OF ELITE CXS ARE GRIFTERS!

Like many of the other reviewers of Elite CXS, I've had the same experience of not being paid for two assignments that I did for them. The assignments took a lot of time in conducting the audits and writing the reports, not to mention travel time. My calls and emails have gone unanswered for nearly two months. David Hartley and Hanny Claproth (CEO/Owner) are total scammers and have several small claims suits against them. I suspect they will have many more in the future. This place needs to be investigated by the authorities. RUN, DON'T WALK from this company! They are thieves, liars, and grifters! I

Unpaid for completed work

I have been mystery shopping for over 16 years and have never had an issue with payments because the companies paid as stated. I conducted my first shop for this company in mid-December 2025 and two more shops of the same type in early January 2026. Towards the end of January, I conducted two additional shops because I did not realize that I would not be paid.

Numerous unanswered calls, voicemails, and emails later, I realized I should have conducted earlier research, which revealed that shopper non-payment was a long-standing problem.

It baffles me that I have not been paid yet; I continue to receive emails about new shops. I requested that they discontinue the scheduling notifications if they are not going to respond to payment update requests. Now that I understand how they operate, I would not complete another shop for them. I simply just want to be paid.

I would give a zero if I could

I would give a zero if I could. I have not been paid since July 2025, they used me and now there is zero response from emails, calls, texts, etc. I'm spending the day to move forward with the local labor board, the BBB, and the US dept. of Labor and then finally a lawyer. Their stupid contract binds them into paying. Fight strong people. I feel for all that got screwed by this company. I actually wanted to pick up a small part time job to help pay some of my medical bills. What jerks.

ELite CXS Thief Not Paying Shoppers

Elite CXS's payments department must be on some high METH drugs. I did two shops for them April 2025 and according to the timeline I did the shops I should have gotten paid the beginning of June. It is now what month? September. I reached out to them a number of times via email, and I got the same response twice, "The CEO is on intermittent medical leave, and his Acct Mgr. is working with him in reference to payment". I called them on the phone and left more than one voicemail and I yet to get a call back from them. There is a Class Action Lawsuit that anyone who has not gotten paid we all need to come together and take one out against them. Something obviously happened as they were paying people. Whatever, the reason they need to inform shoppers what's going on "before" they apply for shops. They are using people's labor as if shoppers said they were going to volunteer to do these shops. No, we signed up for the shops and if selected it was based on "payment" that was stated would be received for the shop(s). I don't care how little the payment is it's "still" the "shopper's payment".

They refuse to pay me for work I did.

I have done mystery shopping work for them for several years. As of June 2025, they haven't paid me for the last 7 months of work I did, including money they are required to reimburse me for that I paid out for a shop. For some shops you have to spend a lot of money on tickets for an "experience." In the past they always reimbursed me but now they refuse to pay me anything they owe me. Which means that *I* paid *them* $300 to work for them. This is in addition to more than $100 I earned doing work for them. DO NOT WORK FOR THIS COMPANY and DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR BUSINESS. They are not a legitimate company and they take advantage of their mystery shoppers. I'm going to take them to court and suggest that any other shoppers who didn't get paid do so as well.
