Elite Music Camps seem to have a really special formula which ensures a non-competitive yet supportive environment irrespective of individual levels or experience. The hospitality, advice and friendship throughout the week was incredible. I can’t speak highly enough of Johnny and Snake and, after having told others about it, I now seem to be surrounded by some very jealous musical friends - in the nicest way of course!
The organisation and arrangements were perfect. It was great to spend the week with like minded people - I learnt so much. The relaxed atmosphere and endless stories over dinner were also a real highlight. Thank you both for everything and hope to see you again.

A fabulous week with Snake and Johnny in Spain. They were both so welcoming as was Angie, it made the house a great place to stay with a pool to relax by and great food freshly cooked, together with drinks included. The daily sessions were varied and interesting with all abilities and one-to-one lessons added in throughout the week. Snake was amazing giving us all great advice and was so patient and helpful. Truly incredible to have his experience in a small group for a whole week. The guys didn’t disappear at the end of the day, they spent their time having dinner with us every night, one night at a beautiful restaurant in Granada and gave us a little concert and short evening talks too. And not forgetting the morning walks/runs I chose to join Snake on and the group walk in the mountains…..just wow wow wow! Loved my dip in the river/waterfall! An experience I’ll never forget. Back home now working on all the post course material provided…..there’s loads! One more thing I should mention is that being a female solo traveller can sometimes be a bit daunting but I felt at ease straight away and was lucky to be placed in a quiet room sharing bathroom with another lovely lady. Just back from a fantastic week at Horn Camp with Snake Davis and Johnny Thirkell. I had a brilliant time – getting great tuition on my saxophone from Snake and jamming with him and 3 other people was amazing. The house where the camps are held is gorgeous with beautiful views, a pool, comfortable rooms and it’s lovely and cool inside when it’s hot outside. The food is absolutely delicious – the 3 course dinners are cooked by a local chef, and served to us outside on the terrace. One night we all went into Granada and ate at a lovely restaurant with views to the Alhambra palace at sunset. I would definitely recommend this for improving sax and trumpet skills as well as enjoying a holiday.

Just returned from EMC Horn Camp - from booking through to departure back to the UK everything in between was 'absolutely fabulous!'.
It was inspiring to spend a week with Snake, Johnny and the other players who were all great fun to be with. Each session was well planned and followed up with plenty of study material.
The house, location, food, entertainment, facilities for non players and hosting by Johnny, Angie and Snake was first class.
The overall experience has given me more confidence to develop my playing further and get out of the practice room :)
I would highly recommend Horn Camp for anyone looking to improve their playing in a small group 'fabulous' environment.

From the moment Rob met me at the airport until it was time to say goodbye to everyone I can honestly say I had the time of my life. Both Johnny and Rob were fantastic hosts, the food was wonderful as was the evening we spent in Granada. The house was in a lovely location and Johnny took care of anything we needed. Rob made me feel more confident with my playing and is a great teacher. I made some new friends with other members of the group. The hike we went on was great fun. Very highly recommended.

Elite Music camps offer an amazing learning experience with some of the most renowned musicians. The organisers are very professional and make sure that everything runs smoothly. The camps are held at a beautiful villa, surrounded by nature and also include a trip to Granada and a hike through the mountains. I already attended twice and really enjoy the relaxed and fun atmosphere.

This week trully exceed all my expectations. Rob is probably one of the best guitar teachers around, putting a lot of care in transmitting the data and the passion behind the music. Johnny is hands on THE host, looking after the minimum details and makin sure (always) we are enjoying ourselves. House and surroundings are a dream. And on top of that it’s the human experience that shines. Meeting fellow guitar players from all over is priceless, and the continuum of laughs and sharing makes it memorable. Excellent experience, to be remembered for years. Thank you!

Fantastic experience! Just came back from one week of guitar camp with Rob Harris. That was just amazing😊 Rob ang Johnny where just so cool, so nice. The place is beautiful, the food delightful. If you are wondering to go, just go. Whatever is your skill. In our group we had beginers and professionals and everyone felt so well guided by Rob. Just one of the best thing you can do to if you like guitar. The energy that all of the people shered was just fantastic. Thanks to all of you.

It's all about that bass and the bass camp had plenty, but it was also so much more. Lessons with Paul Turner are not to be missed, and combining that with amazing accommodation, stunning views, and great Spanish food and drink makes it perfect. However, meeting other players from around the world at different levels with a common goal to learn and improve (and have a laugh, share stories and experiences, play dominoes, listen to great tunes.......) makes it better than perfect. And to top it all, Johnny is a wonderful host and accomplished musician so you're looked after better than you could have dreamt and you can learn so much about other aspects of music, practicing, the industry, and approaches to life in general. It is an experience not to be missed, and that single week will shape my approach as a musician and a person for the rest of my life. Roll on the next time!

I've just finished Bass Week 3 and it was everything I'd hoped for and more. The chance to get one-to-one and group lessons with a top pro musician & to meet other like-minded people from around the word is very special. The week was an excellent mix of lessons, practice time, fun. We also visited Granada and walked the Los Corrahos Gorge. Food & drink are excellent and you will benefit enormously whatever level your playing is currently at. I'm leaving with new friends, happy memories, lots of practice material and a clear focus on my next steps.

Excellent workshop, where I was taught everything I wanted to know in such a way that I can take on the material and work further with it. Very professional and very approachable at the same time. If any workshop has ever been worth it, then it is definitely this one. Look no further!

We have just returned from an amazing week at Horn Camp. It has been a privilege to spend time with Johnny and Snake, both incredibly talented musicians who are generous and patient in the tuition they provide.
It was a relaxed environment in a beautiful setting with wonderful food, shared with our lovely fellow musicians.
We also really enjoyed a stunning hike into the gorge and the evening spent in Granada.

This was was 2nd time at the bass camp with Paul and Johnny. Theres not much I can say that hasnt already been said on here! Paul is obviously un unbelievable player but he is also a great teacher, he is very open and patient and cater's to everones indididual needs. Johnny is a superb host and makes everyone feel welcome in his home for the week. He is full of great stories and anecdotes, also I found his advice on practice routines and cognitive learning to be extremely useful in my own development.

I could go on and on, the great food (thanks Laura!), the stunning location, the many many laughs we had during the week. If your serious about improving your bass playing I couldnt recommend EMC highly enough!

I waited almost 3 years for the opportunity to attend Elite Music Camp's guitar week with Rob Harris and can honestly say it exceeded all expectations. Johnny is an incredible host and top class individual who went above and beyond not only to take care of everyone's needs but also to forge real connections and a wonderful sense of comradery within the group. Rob's humility and easy going nature along with his amazing and vast teaching style was inspiring and offers invaluable learning and growth regardless of level and experience.
I could go on and on but suffice to say that from the gorgeous setting to the delicious food, to the type of people this program attracts from all walks of life, it is an experience like no other and very easy to understand why everyone who attends wants to go back for more - I do too and can't wait for the next one. Thanks Johnny and Rob for one of the best weeks of my life

It's difficult to express how incredibly fun, helpful and well-organised this week was.

Johnny is an amazing host and organiser who is on top of everything, and immediately helps you feel at home in the house.

Paul is simply a fabulous teacher as well as a charming and fun person to be around. He had done a good job of tailoring the one-on-one sessions to the needs of each of us, and was good at making everyone feel safe and confident in the group lessons.

However, it wasn't just the lessons which were top class. The accomodations, the trip to Grenada, the beautiful hike in the mountains, the delicious food from Laura, the relaxed and fun atmosphere, and on and on.

I would highy recommend it to anyone regardless of prior musical experience.

Had wonderful week. Was the Paul Turner bass camp. Hosted magnificently by Johnny who owns EMC and makes you feel part of the family. Good atmosphere good food, great lessons both one to one and in group. Paul is incredibly nice attentive and so good a player very inspiring .

What a fantastic week on the guitar camp with Rob Harris. All my expectations were exceeded. From the accommodation, food and hospitality to the lessons and group sessions themselves, everything was perfect. Johnny is an amazing host, always trying his hardest to make sure we all had everything we needed. Rob's teaching/coaching is also spot on. He has a great ability to home in on things that are really going to advance your playing, whatever level you are at. I have taken away so much from the week and I know that if I put the things I learnt into practice I will improve as a guitarist, but, more importantly, as a musician (and maybe as a person too!)

Combined with great food, great company, amazing scenery, wonderful stories from both Johnny and Rob and a really enjoyable midweek hike, this really is a very special camp. If I can make it happen then I am certainly going to be back in the future.

One last note, if you are concerned about your playing level and thinking you don't have the experience to attend, there really is nothing to be concerned about. Rob's approach genuinely works at any level and you'll definitely get so much from the week irrespective of your ability and goals.
