I wish i had checked the reviews on this site before joining this dating site.
The problems i have with the site are:
- it takes six months payment all at once - most dating sites deduct monthly (I soon discovered why)
- the site does not cater for bisexual clients
- the number of women looking for women is extremely low
- customer service is very slow. When i asked to change back from looking for men to looking for women, it took three weeks.
- when i said i wasn't happy with the service and wanted a refund i was told that there were no circumstances in which refunds are given.
- i asked three times to be put in touch with a more senior member of staff, i was denied

A good company will immediately refund payments to unhappy customers, and be very apologetic. This company makes sure it gets your money up front and writes 'no refunds' in their Ts&Cs

A good company is trying to give a good service., This company seems to be purely there to make money.

A good company escalates problems when they are not solved at the front line. This company refuses to escalate.

I joined this site as it was claimed to be the best for long term relationships on 3 different articles. That's complete rubbish. No one ever responds to your messages, the support team is incredibly poor. The "matches" that the algorithm does don't lead anywhere and there is no connection between them and having an actual match and it seems like a complete ghost town when trying to connect with someone.

Terrible customer sevice. Impossible to contact anyone at customer care. No one responds to my messages on matches. Couldn’t cancel membership on app and now getting threatening messages that they will Sue me.

I wish I could give it 0 stars. 32 suitable matches found for me and about 5 within my preferred distance. I was so disappointed and tried to get a refund but Beatrice pointed me to apple to get refund, don’t understand that one. Surely elite singles should refund. Poor Beatrice must have lots of complaints. Anyway long story short , save your money and your sanity and AVOID ELITE SINGLES

Scammers!!!! They have a small print saying that your subscription will be renewed automatically when it ends. Then when you realise that’s the case they tell you sorry we told you already. I am pretty sure this is not legal. How are they allowed to do automatic renewal without giving people the option to opt out? Stay away from them. I have to get my credit card company involved to raise a dispute

This dating site is as good as useless, you receive one or two potential matches a day if you’re lucky and no one stays on it! Waste of money!!

Terrible company!
Not one date in 6 months, as the matches were rubbish. I removed the auto renew function a few days after joining, but apparently, according to them, it was never removed and they have charged £209.00 for the next 6 months. There are no reminders but you just get an email saying thank for renewing. I called them straight away saying I did not want to renew and had removed the auto renewal setting but it is like dealing with a brick wall. When I asked for my complaint to be escalated, they blocked me from their emails. Shocking!!

This dating site is a scam. There are very few men close to where I live on this site. And the ones that are close are not any improvement on the regular sites. When my six months were up I asked to cancel and they said I didn’t give enough notice and took my money. So stuck with another six months with a diary note to cancel early. I genuinely think this is a scam site and would write to an ombudsman if I knew where to go - I think the company is based in Germany so no way of recompense.

Elite implies the best of the available men out there either in education, finances, athleticism, looks, something. All I saw were barely employed, serial killer looking bottom of the barrel stalker types. I really thought when I paid there would be some type of eligibility criteria. Nope. You have a computer? You're in. You are on food stamps, public aid and are missing most of your teeth? Welcome. You live in your Mom's basement ordering video games and parts for automatic weapons with your $12/hour job. Perfect.
You know what emails I have? Dozens and dozens saying that scammers reached out to me and hopefully I didn't give them any personal information because ES discovered that they're terrible humans.
Auto renewed without notification and won't retract the fee despite me deactivating my profile after the 80th notification about a security risk.

This dating site is an absolute joke. You are lucky to get 3 daily matches, if you do they are normally miles away, no photo and certainly don’t match with your personality profile. I think they have so little subscribers they are scratching the bottom of the barrel to find anyone, not someone who matches your criteria. If you put your preference to meet people within a 50 mile radius you are lucky if you get any wild card matches. Don’t waste your money on this site, it’s pathetic! You are more likely to find a needle in a haystack than a match on this site.

These are scammers. Renew your membership and charge you £150 when you have cancelled. No men in or near my area and is a total waste of time. I would not even join this site if free. I have tried to get a refund for the money they have taken from me when I had cancelled my membership. The next step is going to court. Sorry, but have had enough.

What an utter shambles of a site, I wish I had read the reviews before parting with over a hundred pounds. DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY, I’ve been on the site over 2 months and not connected to anyone, everyone are that far away it’s impossible. I’d give it no stars if possible

I wish I'd read the reviews before shelling out 160 odd quid to this scam site. The matches are unsuitable, (as another reviewer has put) half the mem don't even post photos?!!! Waste of time, waste of money, worst dating app ever. I've tried other sites for free and they're 10 times better. I've been trying to get a refund and they are doing everything they can to wriggle out of it. Terrible customer service. I'm not purchasing anything till l consult Trustpilot from now on!

This site doesn’t even warrant one star. It is almost impossible to stop your subscription renewing. I was very wary about the automatic renewal and I checked that I had cancelled frequently before the renewal date. Despite this they have still managed to take another 6 month subscription despite this. I am disgusted at this company and it appears they do this on a regular basis. Please make sure you cancel them with your bank well before the renewal date. Utter scammers

I joined this when single 6 months ago, and haven't used it in months. I got a reminder to check my account earlier in the week, prior to a 6 month renewal. My account settings page said "Expires on 10/08/23", so I relaxed and went on my way. On the 10th my phone pinged. £209.70 taken from my account! Had to resort to Google to find a customer contact form, because although their help page says they have one, I challenge you to find it (I couldn't). Google helped me out.

Their reply, today, basically said "sorry pal, it's in the small print. We're keeping your money. We've now changed your account though so this shouldn't happen again". It better not.

Bordering on criminal.

And their matches are useless. Miles away. And very meagre selection of potential matches, which are not matches anyway.

Just terrible. Please don't waste your money or your time.

If I could give this site 0 stars I would. Wish I had read the previous reviews before paying for 6 month subscription. Was drawn in by the discounted membership and recalled someone recommending the site. It is a complete rip off. They have very few paying members. The matches they recommend (as few as 2/3 a week) are hundreds of miles away and they are not 'matches'. I cannot understand the point in answering all the questions because they do not even attempt to match like with like. Further, the site fails to notify you when you have a message. I receive 'visitor' notifications, but when I check thete haven't been any new visitors. So, this appears to be a ploy to draw you in to visiting the site. Tried to complain within 3 weeks and was told I could have cancelled earlier but it was too late. Complete 'rip off'. Do not waste your money!

Very disappointed
I wish I had read the reviews here. It showed as a good app in some articles so decided to give it a shot and went for the PAID membership. What a waste of money. I don't tend to leave bad reviews, but hopefully this will help the next interested person to set their expectations and the company to deliver on their product.
I was hopeful that it was going to be a good app given all the profile questions you're asked upon singing up. Far from the truth. The 'matches' are absolutely random; some people don't even have photos (how do they let people sign up without photoso on an online dating app??); the UX and UI are awful; and the only time I actually got a message, I wasn't even notified!!
I've already cancelled my subscription, and really hope to have no issues at the time it comes to an end.

Complete waste of money and can’t wait till my subscription ends. Yes you get matches but you need to have a map to hand to find out where in England, Ireland or Scotland they are as being based in Bedfordshire there was no local matches. You get 20 matches a day to swipe on and you can see 1 photo and their description but you can’t see the other photos. Overall complete waste of money try the free sites first.

do not under any circumstances join this agency. The service is appalling and they will renew your membership and there is no way of either contacting them or getting your money back. In short they are criminals do not be tempted by what are largely fake and fraudulent profiles. i say again do not under any circumstances join this agency.
