I recently paid for a 6 month subscription and I was disappointed in realising that, previously on the app approx 6 years ago, Elite Singles do not send out daily match potentials. Also the fact that you cannot send messages unless there is a mutual like. This is almost like Tinder where it is free to messages when there is a mutual like

All I had were a bunch of scammers wanting endless texts. What a bunch of garbage.

I am a new subscriber to elite singles. They have recently revised their website and while it presents as more modern it was so much better before. You cannot make choices to limit your preferences as before. Some options remain to allow you to be specific but other options that really matter to limit potential choices are now removed. The choices are more general which increases the selections made by the website but in reality is not what you wanted. If I was not aware of the old selection options then this would not bother me so much. What does bother me is the large amount of obvious fake profiles that have AI type pictures or multiple profiles of the same person in different pictures but using different names, ages and profile information. You are able to block those profiles when you discoverer they must be fake and possible scammers looking to get you. Credit must be given for the ability to block and report these people as you find the fake profiles but the fact that there are so many it indicates there must be too many for elite singles software technicians to track and remove. Overall my experience has not been great but I am newer to dating sites. Just disappointed but I may be learning that this is how dating sites are. Clearly their are many fake profiles, and profiles with limited to no information and so many, profiles of people listing their age but the pictures are of people multiple years and possibly a decade or more younger. This leads you to think they too are fake profiles. Many leave their profiles blank so I wonder how are they being matched to me unless it is just random selection by the website software. Price is high for the low quality of service provided. I most likely will not renew my subscription. Thanks for reading. 1 star out of 5.

Most prospects they presented to me had no photos. One day I logged in and all were blank. I paid for the first month to see if I would like the service before committing longer term. I definitely wasted my money as I checked daily and rarely saw any profiles with photos. Or the prospects did not meet my selected preferences. Disappointing. Customer service was not helpful and I wish I could have gotten my money back. I’ve never left a negative review so I do caution anyone considering the service. I wasted $65 and a month of swiping time. I wouldn’t want anyone else to have the experience I had. 😞

Having difficulty with credit card transaction. eDarling as the biller sounds like scam.

They send many outside your preferences, and recently went to a Tinder like format, almost a swipe right or left thing. I had interest in only a few, and they all lived out of town. I was also surprised to find that they are part of other online dating sites I specifically shoes not to add my profile to, and most I spoke to were not on Elite Singles.

I have been a member of Elite singles in Australia for some years-enjoying the higher educational standards and worldly experience and sophistication-that was a feature of its members then. I was also a member of 'Silver Singles' this company's second site-until I discovered the folk on 'silver singles' were seeing the duplication of all pictures and data from the Elite site!! I wrote to the company complaining but received a curt reply saying that 'I had agreed to the terms and conditions!' At that time I thought by resigning from Silver Singles I was getting double the exposure!
The Company's recent site design changes has revealed it however as totally unscrupulous-as it now posts hundreds of past members profiles in an attempt to beguile you into thinking it has a huge data base -do not use this company it is scurrilous and trades illegally!

Terrible experience! Overpriced! Poor Customer Service! Would not recommend! They make promises they can't keep!

I asked there is no possibility to send a message without mutual like ! It is important that we can send a message to anyone that we like or that a feeling can begin. Mutual like is only with the appearance ! I think that the personnality, character is much more important! I did not subscribe because of this right now

An echo chamber. The app update means I can no longer see who's viewed my profile, nor whether my 'likes' have been received. As others have said, it's very annoying that profiles you've liked disappear from view, never to be seen again unless you receive a like from that person.
The only like I have received - after sending dozens - was from a scammer!
It's like playing darts in the dark. Dating online is tricky enough without 'feedback'. No initiating messages without a 'mutual match' first - annoying.
This app is like match.com or SALT, with less functionality...and as many fake profiles as match. Notifications don't work. A poor substitute for the previous version, which was average to begin with.
Complaints are met with canned copy/paste responses that don't address concerns.
I wouldn't have renewed my subscription had I known this was coming.

They really have fewer users than in the past. Furthermore, they changed their interface and are now nothing more than an overpriced, cheap version of Tinder. Don’t be fooled as I was. I tried to cancel my subscription, but they used every excuse possible to avoid processing my resignation.

SCAM, does not do what it says

Its less than 2months of my 6months subscription and I got hacked and locked out of my account. The worst case is there is no means to reach the customer rep. Pure scam, please do not subscribe here

Very dissatisfied with this site. The new format is extremely disappointing. Profiles are loaded every 24 hrs. You either have to like them and move onto the next profile, or you can click don't like. Then they disappear forever. It is not possible to view a panel of profiles, and revisit when its convenient. There is no panel. After the profiles are reviewed, there are no additional profiles another 24 hrs. I do not recommend this site at all.

You need a separate listing for those who you like - and it would be good to know the status of people ( free or premium- how long have they been members)

New platform renders Elite Singles close to useless to me. Once I click on anyone -- and a click is required -- future access is eliminated. Now when I visit the site, it is essentially dead to me. I'm very sorry I signed on for six months, most of it a total waste.

I recently paid for 6 months membership, however, they recently changed their website and I now cannot send an introductory message without first having to send a mutual like. This method greatly reduces the probability of getting a reply from a member. Their support people stated they will not revert to their previous system so I then asked them to cancel my membership and refund my payment. They refused to refund my payment.
It would also appear that most of the profiles on this site are scam or outdated.

Hi my review of elitesingles I joined the group for the second time just recently the greatest thing that annoys my self and others that I have met is the fact that I think your logarithms for matching are a bit off for example distance like I said 30mins so why did I receive likes from France Spain you know what I’m saying. And after you up dated your site I was locked out of all applications so I felt a little no I mean a lot pissed off.

I started with the basic membership (free for five days). The site gave a rating of up to a 100 for high match. Everything seemed good until I paid for a 3 month subscription. The site says you cancel within three days for a full refund. I used it for three more days as a member and had matched and chatting. I left for business and came back in four days to find my bookmarked site could not be found. Eventually I googled the site and was prompted for my email and was sent a verification. After verifying I was forwarder to a different site that did have my profile but my matches and chat were gone. I felt as if I was a victim of a Bait-and-Switch. To test my suspicion I liked over 200 profiles (most not even filled out) and received zero in return. Avoid this site!
