Customer service is bad

Customer service is bad. I submitted my request to customer service at end of October,2024 . No one answers my email. They say someone will call me back. They lied.

Open and Damaged Packaging

The package was delivered in great condition from the courier. Unfortunately Elite Tools had shipped Milwaukee equipment in open (used?) and damaged packaging.

misleading

on the website right at the top it shows shipping from 24-72 hours
2 weeks now and my order still says processing
have called customer service twice and they use a third party service, both times they said i was going to get a call back obviously have not...
will not be ordering from them

STAY AWAY!!!!

Poor customer service

Elite tools carries good quality merchandise but their customer service is the worst I have ever experienced. As a tradesman this is not acceptable. I ordered an M18 Milwaukee battery pack and blower. The delivery time was satisfactory. The M18 battery pack that was sent was defective. (would not take a charge) I called Elite (which routes your call to a call center.) The call center has no idea of your order or how to place a return. Basically they take your information and contact Elite to call you back. No call back from Elite. Waited a couple of days without contact and tried calling 4 more times. Same result. I tried using the “Ask for return” form on their web site. (sent in a request every day for a week) No return contact. Looks like I have will have to eat the cost of this defective battery. I will NEVER purchase from this company again. Do yourself a favour and purchase from another online tool supplier.

Update. So it has been 26 days since I placed this order and 7 days since this review was posted. It seems that Elite tools really don't care about customer service as I have yet to hear from them. I contacted Milwaukee directly and within 3 days I had a new battery pack. Milwaukee has the best customer service and I always buy Milwaukee products, just not from Elite tools. There are numerous other online tool suppliers that I would recommend you purchase from. If I ever hear back from Elite I will update this review.

It should say if ur off ....for the…

It should say if ur off ....for the hollidays on ur site. I woundnt have ordered... order was placed december 8 and i never got a confirmation yet...Im depending on this asap..not in 4 weeks....and second... no customer service...must be a company from quebec...figure shouda cheked before....worse province to deal with....knows it all.... but no service..anyways,Happy hollidays, hope u stay warm...cuzz i wont.
Its now december 27....still had no response from elite tools....still waiting on their call. Now its december 29 still no response from elite tools...

Ordered 3 weeks ago - no update on shipping

Made an online order on Nov 21st. The site says shipping in less than 72 hours but still no shipping confirmation. I have sent 2 emails and called customer service last week. The friendly lady said she would ask shipping to send me an update - but still nothing. I’m worried this won’t come before Christmas but mostly worried it won’t come at all. Any update would be appreciated.

I placed my order on November 18/23 and…

I placed my order on November 18/23 and have not received an email for delivery. I emailed the company and still no response. This was a Christmas gift and now I’m not so sure it will arrive on time 😞

Absolutely Awful Service

I've never had a more disappointing experience with an online purchase. The day after I placed my order, I emailed their customer service, to have them confirm that they ship in plain packaging, or to change the delivery address if they don't — no response to date. Their website states, at the top of every screen, that they ship in 24-72 hours. When I hadn't received a shipping confirmation TWO WEEKS LATER, I started trying to call the company. What a joke! Three times, on three different days, I called during regular business hours over the course of yet another week, and every call, no matter what option I selected, was answer by a useless agent, all of whom referred to themselves as “the emergency service“, yet they couldn't even take an order number and check a status. They couldn't even take a message and pass it on! It wasn't until my third attempt, when I told them I'd be reporting them as fraudulent to Visa, that I finally got a call back 4 hours after I was promised someone would call within 20 minutes. Long story shorter, the package had shipped (with no confirmation email), by some weird carrier nobody has ever heard of, and was finally delivered in the middle of the night two days later, in its original packaging..... just in time for my husband to walk out and have his Xmas surprise completely ruined. Never, ever, will I, or anyone I know, give this pathetic excuse for a company any business.

Poor communication

Bought tools from them years ago and never had any problems. So when was the time for me to buy a new festool track saw I thought. If they have it on stock I will order from them, since I needed that saw for a contract I'm working on. On their website everything I needed was in stock so I procceed the order and pay with my credit card, since I made order with them in the past and everything has been smooth.

Few minutes later I received an automatic email to confirm the order. On that email everything was out of stock, out of 5 item just 1 was in stock. (on the email)

So I called them and spoke with someone, and she told me that, sometime the system says that the item is out of stock, when just 1 item is left in stock. And she will go look and call me back to letting me know. That was the November 30.

Since then I called 3 time, and send 2 email, and everytime I call they say the same thing, I will bring the message and we will call you back.

I'm very disappointed, if I didn't need the tools for a specific reason it would be fine, but the fact that I saw the tools in stock at the moment of ordering, and now the fact that the communication is just absent from you, made me wonder if I made the right choice. I really hope I'll get a call from you pretty soon so settled this.

If I'd get a call right away and letting me know that it was an error and the saw wasn't in stock, my review would be a 3 or a 4.

Edit: December 11 I was able to speak with their customers service and I had to cancel the order. Since I was able to speak with some one and everything seam to be resolve I'll bump my review to a 3. Error can happen and it's totaly normal, the person was very nice, and apologizing. The company should invest in their customer service, it's the most important part of a business. If I had that phone call few days after my order my review whould have been completely different.

I ordered 3 pair of Milwaukee ear buds…

I ordered 3 pair of Milwaukee ear buds Dec 4th because the website said they were in stock. $840 charged NO PROBLEM to my credit card. 2 phone calls with NO updates on my order (I was told by 2 associates I would be called back). I have ZERO else for my sons for Xmas as I was lead to believe the 3 pair would ship within 24-72 hrs. NOT impressed.

Took payment, didn't ship, Won't answer any inquiries

I have made several purchases from Elite Tools several years ago but not in recent years. I never had an issue in the past. This time I had to create a new account as my previous account was attached to a cancelled email address.

I placed an online order on Nov 5th and it is still showing processing in my account on their website. I sent an inquiry email on Nov 16th. They did not answer. I sent a second email on 23rd. They did not answer. I called their 1-800 number on Nov 27th. Someone took a message but the call was not returned. I sent a third email on Dec 1st. Again, they did not answer.

It's been over a month. They took my payment. Did not ship my order and refuse to answer several inquires. I'm not sure what my next step is as I cannot make contact with them. I paid by PayPal so I guess I have no choice but report this problem to PayPal.

Tried to cancel my order shortly after…

Reaching out to customer service took a while to cancel my order but it was cancelled in the end. If you’re trying to check out as a guest you might not have the option to cancel from the website

17 days to ship my order

17 days to ship my order. Zero communications. Requested shipping and tracking info 4 times. No response. Finally gave up, ordered elsewhere and opened a PayPal dispute. 4 days later I receive a shipping notice. Very frustrating experience. I will not buy from them again.

Poor customer service, poor quality control

Ordered a Dewalt battery. Arrived and was not in a sealed package and manufacture date is over two years ago. I emailed looking for an explanation and assurance it was new and under warranty, as it looks slightly used, or has been knocked around a bit. My emails have been ignored. It has been more than a week now. This was purchased as a gift for someone, and I am not comfortable giving it because it looks like I purchased it used! Even if it is new old stock, two years is a long time to sit. Lithium batteries still deteriorate when not used. Very disappointed.
