For weddings, we provide an end-to-end personal service, from save the dates through invitations, stationery for the day, favours and thank-you cards - across a range of 40+ versatile and customisable designs. Fabulous quality, customer service could be improved.
The quality of the product is exceptional. Customer service was okay, could have been improved. I’d admittedly made a mistake and ordered the incorrect type of invite which was luckily picked up on quickly. The calculation used for me to pay the difference was a bit unclear. A brand new order for the same items was only a £13 difference but I was asked to pay £42 due to materials already being on site and cut to size. Just purely from a customer service point of view, I’d have charged the smaller amount, I’m pretty confident the seller will be able to resell those materials.

The perfect wedding invites
Working with Ian at Elle Bee Design has been a joy. From the order process, to proofing and eventual delivery, Ian made this such an enjoyable process. He explained everything in detail and answered all of our questions. We received our invitations so quickly after ordering and they are perfect. So happy and excited for our guests to receive them. Elegant, stylish invites with excellent service- what more could you want
From the sample order to our final piece , I cannot rate this company high enough. Ian was very quick is replying to our questions we had and guided us on certain aspects of our invites. Ordering was simple and easy, we received regular updates and compiling the content gave us freedom to make it personal to us. Seeing our initial draft made our wedding more real and as for receiving them in person....superb quality and finish. Elegant and personal to us, beyond happy!! We certainly recommend this company for your special day invitations.

Beautiful wedding stationery
I ordered save the dates and my full invitation suite as well as my evening invites from Elle Bee. The invites are gorgeous - we’ve had loads of compliments and the quality is exceptional. Communication from the couple who run this company is fantastic! The design of my chosen invitation set changed slightly between ordering evening invites and days invites and Ian emailed me to ask if I wanted to use the old style to match, despite them being 2 separate orders. This personal touch just shows how much care and dedication Laura and Ian put into the work they do. We would absolutely order further stationery through them and I would recommend them to any couples looking for high quality, beautiful wedding stationery.

Great, had a zoom call with Elle Bee Design prior to ordering and they made everything very clear. Wedding invitations turned up in good time and were great quality, exceeded expectations! would definitely recommend!

The best wedding stationary out there!
Customer service is amazing, speed of which they get the invites made and sent to you is so fast but not lacking on quality at all! I have had so many compliments on our invites and how high quality they are!
A guide on how to fold the vellum jackets and paper band is included in the order which is a great touch that I didn't realise would be provided! Thanks so much for making our dream invites

Lack of human empathy
Created an order and then a few days later had to cancel - I hadn't even spoken to them about specifics of my order and they still charged me the full amount... Lost hundreds and no sympathy at all from Elle Bee.
Wouldn't be recommending them 😞

Hi Katie,
Thanks for taking the time to leave us your review; transparency is hugely important to us as it provides other customers with a clear view of experiences. So given that this review will be viewed by others we'll outline the specifics of the situation and our process(es).
When an order is placed via our website this sets everything into motion; your materials are ordered and go into production from our supplier (which requires our up-front cost) and we request your details / information via email so we can begin proofing. It was at in response to this email that you requested bespoke additions and the option of hot foiling, both of which come with additional cost due to time / materials needed, so these additional costs were communicated. I think you had set the expectation that these additional elements would be without charge.
Whilst we are an "online" company we do offer multiple avenues to clients to speak with us in advance of their order which is massively important to us and not hidden away. We have Live Chat, email, phone and social media, along with the option of a free of charge consultation. Sadly you didn't choose to speak with us in advance of placing your order as we would have informed you of the additional costs associated with the additions you were looking to make so you could have made an informed decision.
Rather than continue with your original order minus the additional extras you requested a refund and, as per our Terms and Conditions, this would be 50% of your order value (a little over £100).
This refund value - set in our Terms - is because we've already paid for the materials needed for your order; we offer 40 different colour shades and have no guarantee that we'll be able to use these for another client once they're on-site. As a small family business we're not able to swallow these costs as I'm sure you'll understand.
So for the sake of clarity - as your review makes it sound like we chose to take the full amount and not refund - you were refunded 50% of your order value.
It was at this stage you questioned our integrity because you found it "hard to believe that it was the case" and that you "couldn't be bothered to argue" with us. You referenced some unknown personal circumstances which we said we hoped, whatever they were, would improve for you, but any circumstances around which we were supposed to give sympathy continue to be unknown to us.
I'm sorry you feel that you had a bad experience with us as it's not what we strive for. But we are very sad that you chose not to engage with us in advance - when the majority of couples do - and then question our integrity and our process(es) when the situation is outlined, alongside being readily available in multiple places on our website.
We're also saddened to be accused of a lack of empathy / sympathy when that doesn't appear to be the case - I'd hope our other Trustpilot reviews clearly show that we're two decent and welcoming people running a small independent business fairly, which couples experience when they choose to engage with us rather than not.
