I ordered a dress that was described as chiffon, it was 100% polyester, it did not fit as promised, I have tried contacting them multiple times to return the dress and they have ignored by emails, a huge waste of money!!!!

I found my wedding dress on Pinterest and ordered it from Ellen Brides, fully aware it was a replica of an Eva Lendel gown — but what a terrible replica!

The back of the dress, which was supposed to be open, was made ridiculously high, completely ruining the look I wanted. The sizing made no sense — I’m 1.57 m tall, and it looked like it was made for someone twice my height. The waist and hip measurements were outrageously off.

I expected to need a few minor adjustments, but the tailor said the entire dress basically had to be remade. Honestly, it would've been faster to get breast surgery than to fix this mess.

I requested a refund and was told to return the dress. Be aware: it ships from China, so return shipping cost me $100. And worst of all, they refused to accept the package, blaming “customs issues,” even though DHL attempted delivery several times.

Now the dress is being returned to me, they’ve ignored all my emails, and even though I shipped it well within the 30-day return window, they’re ghosting me. I’ve lost $450 and now have to start over with my dress search.

Do not recommend. Terrible quality, poor customer service, and zero accountability.

Encontré mi vestido de novia en Pinterest y lo pedí a Ellen Brides sabiendo que era una imitación de un vestido de Eva Lendel. Pero ¡qué pésima imitación!

La espalda del vestido, que debía ser descubierta, fue hecha altísima, arruinando totalmente el diseño que yo quería. Además, el tallaje no tenía ningún sentido: mido 1.57 m y parecía que el vestido estaba hecho para alguien del doble de mi altura. La cintura y las caderas eran exageradas.

Pensé que quizá necesitaría un par de ajustes, pero el modista me dijo que prácticamente había que rehacerlo entero. A ese nivel, me habría resultado más rápido operarme el busto que arreglarlo.

Solicité el reembolso y me dijeron que enviara el vestido de vuelta. ¡Ojo! Está en China, así que el envío me costó 100 dólares. Pero para colmo, parece que ellos no quisieron recibirlo. Me dijeron que era por "problemas de impuestos", aunque DHL intentó entregarlo varias veces.

El paquete ahora viene de regreso, ellos no responden mis correos, y aunque lo envié dentro del plazo de los 30 días que indican, me están ignorando. He perdido $450 y además tengo que empezar de nuevo la búsqueda de mi vestido.

No lo recomiendo para nada. Mala calidad, mala atención y una total falta de responsabilidad.

DO NOT PURCHASE FROM ELLEN BRIDALS ONLINE - I purchased a wedding dress from EllenBridals.com due to me living in a remote location, and online was highly convenient - while I was impressed with the ease of shopping, the selections featured, options and descriptions of measurements and ability to order a size as close to your body type as possible, I was NOT impressed when I received the dress... it would've fit someone twice my height and was grossly oversized and disproportionate. It looks like something out of an old dress-up closet and a lot of things were coming apart, misaligned, and the bra size was 3 full cups bigger than I am. It was poorly sewn together and practically fell off. I knew and expected a few extra inches to allow for alterations but that was the point of the custom size was to minimize the amount of work to be done on it, RIGHT???? Thankfully my soon-to-be mother in law is an excellent seamstress and we are making the best of the situation - otherwise it would probably cost several times over what the dress is worth.

I wish wish wish I would've gone to get dresses fitted at a bridal boutique. That is still the best you can do for yourself and the special day.

The company does not respond to emails, and did not provide a way to return the dress. No customer support.

I know their dresses aren't haute couture, but I couldn't find this style anywhere else, and they're such a great deal!

My vintage wedding dress is stunning! It looks far more expensive than it was and fits perfectly. I'll need to tailor the top slightly, as the bust cups are a bit more visible than I'd prefer.

I ordered two dresses, one for prom and another for my friend's wedding - both turned out perfect!

I ordered what what I thought was a beautiful dress for my daughters wedding. I even paid extra for extra for express shipping. When I got the dress ai broke out into tears. It was nothing like the dress I ordered. It was a different (ugly) color. It was made from cheap fabric and the quality was horrendous. It was way too big except dor the arm pits that were way to small. I contacted the company and expressed my disappointment and asked for a refund. They said that I can Mail it back to China but ai have to pay the shipping. Once they received it in 30 days or so they would deduct their shipping cost (expensive) to get it to me and refund the rest. That wouldn't include the $40 I paid for express shipping. I have had several email exchanges with them with no willingness to make this right. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY IN CHINA. By the way the picture they use of a cute little boutique is fake. They are in China.

We live in a small rural community, so we ordered 6 different dresses- they were so cheap! The total cost was 1175.00. We ordered and paid the very next day they canceled our order without explanation. They had charged my card…… 1 week later no refund, my credit card company refunded the full amount and they are pursuing the amount through their fraud department. And that’s my story.😔

Dress I ordered stated it was made to order and ready to ship within 48hrs. Was promised a tracking number within 24hrs, paid for expedited shipping and my dress has not arrived. No tracking provided and no response from customer service. Their chat system is of no help, it only opens more tickets for a customer service that doesn’t respond. My wedding is in two weeks I have no idea what to do!! 😭

The dress I received is nothing like the dress I ordered. It looks cheap and poorly made. The color is totally different from the picture as well. I am trying to reach support and sent three emails with no reply. I want my money back and at this point I don’t know who to talk to.

My order arrived almost 30 dyas after I paid for expedited delivery. I understand it is their busy season and they made apologies from beginning to end. The rush fee dress. The dress is gorgeous and the materials is heavy.

I shipped back a MOB gown ordered from them since I didn't like the color. But I finally returned to their site after searching randomly online for two weeks. They helped me get my money back before my package was delivered when I decided to reorder online.

Gorgeous, expertly tailored dress. Color is true to the picture online. Very comfy fabric. Many thanks. But the delivery is so late. Late about 2 week.

Be careful I’ve ordered a a beautiful dress and it’s past due the date of expected to ship, still no tracking of shipping and no response from support? It has charged my credit card unable to get a refund. ellenbridals.com affordable dress i think it’s a bogus website? Shortly after i posted my experience, i received a random text from FedEx with a tracking number i assume it was the dress? It was I got the dress it was nothing like the picture it was supposed to be Olive and I got green the dress is to big and the shawl is to small. Again unable to get a hold of anyone, sent email again, tried the chat feature no help? No phone on website etc…
