Right decision!
After ten years, we chose El Monte again, and we're completely satisfied with it. Picking up the rental car in Orlando went great. The friendly employee patiently answered all our questions.
The RV was really well-equipped and actually exceeded our expectations. (One day, there will surely be height-adjustable driver and passenger seats as well😉). We drove over 2,000 miles from Orlando to New Jersey without any problems. We had no trouble maneuvering our 29-foot RV at any of the campgrounds.
Returning the RV in New Jersey was also a very pleasant experience thanks to the extremely friendly staff.
We therefore highly recommend El Monte in every respect.

At the pickup we were surprised as the staff spoke our native language (Swiss German) and explained all the details as it was our first rental. At the drop off the staff was helpful and and noted all the things that broke during our trip. One tip of advise: purchase the "piece of mind" insurance as something will break and with it it's covered, we cracked literally on the last mile our windshield and the insurance covered the damage. Thank you El Monte Team you made our vacation a success.

Amazing first-time experience!
Super nice team, very easy to deal with and great communication! We actually canceled our reservation with a different company because they were so rude and condescending. SO glad we did - not only was the El Monte team pleasant, but their fleet is 1000x nicer than what we would have received elsewhere. Would definitely recommend them. This was our first time renting an RV and they made sure we were comfortable with everything! Great service!

Overall
Overall, the experience was very good; however, I felt there was a lack of communication in my language (Spanish or Portuguese) to better understand how to operate the vehicle's systems. I consider the fuel consumption to be too high—in our country, large vehicles use diesel with additives, which makes them more powerful and fuel-efficient. I also found that the gray and black water tanks fill up very quickly. All in all, it was a good experience, but better performance is needed to make the trip more enjoyable. As for El Monte, I recommend them and have no complaints, other than the points I mentioned earlier. Thank you!
