LAPTOP LASTED 20-30 VR SESSIONS OVER 10MONTHS NEVER DAMAGED DROPPED OR WETWORST CUSTOMER SERVICE OF ANY COMPANY EVER DO NOT BUY UNLESS U ARE A PC PROFESSIONAL BORDERLINE RUDE POSSIBLY AI STAFFED

This is that company that misleads about the product warranty, and has all the bad stuff in the fine print deliberately, and will do nothing for you if they arent bound to, no matter how much money they got from you for a non functioning product, smirking and pointing at the contract(Gotcha buddy haha). They sold me a laptop. It was top end(or so the listed specs said). It was the mech gp with separate water cooler. It stayed in one place save for one trip to my exs and back in a laptop case. I probably used it 20-30 times in the span of 10 months and then it just died. Bluescreens to system repair, none of the options provided will complete. Its probably a defective ssd. It happens. A standup company would take the return, inspect the laptop to see if it was damaged by accident liquid etc mishandling, and repair or refund whatever the customer's preference if it is clearly a defect and not carelessness. This company boldly refuses, and tells me thjs 4000 dollar laptop ive used a couple times can no longer be refunded and i went through it arguing and escalating, but they will not budge. They have a sketchy "manufacturer's warranty"(so ppl will read it and say ah warranty, great) where all the legwork down to printing the shipping label is on you, you mail it across the country and get it back in months again, and hope it works when it didn't even make it past breaking in new. Pay the extra few hundred bucks and get an asus acer other reputable brand. They dont leave the customer holding the bag if their stuff has an obvious defect, and it rarely does. I am frankly shocked to have spent so much for something to just have nothing for it. I am in communication with their customer service which im pretty sure is an ai. If not, its a punch drunk psychopath. Replies are sterile, lacking any empathy, it gives no ground, grants no favors, and seems to be there solely so they may put the word warranty on the box. I am 38 and this is my worst buying experience and biggest purchase regret of my life.

MAX-17 Ultra Performance 17.3" Gaming Laptop PC: Liquid Metal Intel i7-10875H 8 Core NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2070 144Hz ordered on November 30, 2020. First, the negatives, trust me the list is short and totally outshined by this upsides. when it is not plugged in it runs very....meh. that said most people, myself included think of a gaming laptop more as a portable gaming pc then as an everyday laptop. Now to the good stuff. almost 3 years out and it's barely starting to show it's age at all. I bought this just before the release of cyberpunk 2077 and have clear memories of my friends with more expensive gaming desktops having tons of problems with the game. My laptop ran it fine (even ran okay with ray tracing on). Cut to a month or so ago, jedi survivor releases, the internet explodes with negative reviews based on it's performance and I, like the true eluktronics fan that i am, enjoy the game, undisturbed by the numerous issues that set the internet ablaze. I did however, have to do the unthinkable, i had to lower my settings to medium, lest their be mild stuttering amidst battles of roughly 30 or more enemies all shooting lazer gattling cannons at my face. seriously though, this laptop is an amazing value, support has been great, it's easily upgradable (ive added both ram and 2 new SDs to it). I can't help but think that this has to be the best bang for your buck gaming laptop out there, or at least it was back when i purchased it. It seems like ever retailer is trying to price gouge their customers nowadays but if eluktronics has kept up this standard then they can be proud of the work they're putting out into the world and in knowing that they help to make the world just that little bit better.

Purchased a MECH-17 high-end laptop…

Purchased a MECH-17 high-end laptop from them. The high specs (i9-12900H, 3070Ti, 64Gb RAM, 2Tb high-speed SSD, mechanical keyboard) - from any "big name" brand which makes high-end laptops that I've looked into (Alienware/Dell, MSI, Razor, Acer) - would cost 20-50% more.
I've also looked into a couple other "niche" brands like Maingear and System76 which offer good deals but have other quirks (either use only year+ old components in their customisable laptops, or only come with Linux pre-installed). So ultimately I went for Eluktronics's laptop, with the LPP liquid cooling package.

2 months of useage later - there are no problems with either the laptop or the cooling package. Granted, the latter doesn't get much use as the kind of gaming I do doesn't cause the MECH-17 to break a sweat as is.

I really like the mechanical keyboard's crispness (that's what I was looking for!) As well as the fact the laptop looks very plain on the outside - no identifying markings at all. Kind of opposite to an Alienware which is SCREAMING about how fancy of a laptop it is, while their entry level models' specs are pretty middle of the road in fact... The MECH series is just plain, clean black style. It does have keyboard backlighting, and a glowing rim around the back - but that's it.

Anything that annoys me in it compared to my previous laptop - is related to Windows-11, which this company pre-installs into their laptops, NOT the laptop itself.

Everything related to the hardware or assembly quality - is top notch.

Express delivery was fast, too. Considering they also assemble the laptop for each customer individually.
